I wanted to get some other opinions on a thought I had last night regarding the lack of Ace Attorney merchandise in the Western world.

Atlus games, which has brought us many titles such as the Persona Series and Digital Devil Saga are going to release their fourth Persona game soon. If you pre-order the game at GameStop, you get a concept art book. Its not very big, but it has a little information about the characters, pictures of them in different outfits, and it shows their different emotions.

Anyway, my point is would this be something that Capcom should look into when they release their next game? Or would you prefer some other kind of pre order gift?

(Also, if this is in the wrong area, I apologize).

I think that would be pretty sweet. Although, I'd be happy with anything Ace Attorney, really. ^_^

No.

That is because my parents probably wouldn't let me preorder.

Yes, I'm slightly greedy.

It just makes me mad because in my opinion, the Persona games are in a niche market too, but they get strategy guides and art books in English and we get a stylus.

Do you have to have your parent's permission to pre-order something? I know in the states you do if the game is rated Mature, but everything else is fair game.

Seems like a kind of good idea. Though I've always like the stuff they've thought up as preorder incentives before.

Funny thing though; I've got doubles of the preorder stuff from JFA and T&T because a friend of mine picked them up for me at San Diego Comicon. I didn't even ask, he just kind of bought them and mailed them to me. It seems like they have a lot of that stuff left over. I don't know if they do already, but I think it'd be pretty cool if Capcom put this stuff on the web store. People like Dramatica could order from there if they missed out on preordering.

Speaking of Comicon, Capcom seems to put out all of their AA merchandise there. The same friend got a pin set for me the previous year. Cool stuff.

I just want the concept book really.
I mean, I would buy the game anyway, but I would still like the book.
For expamle, the interviews of how them came to be, and opinions.
I would love to see that.
And having the concept art would just be great anyway.

Me too, I love reading the background behind the characters and the creator's thoughts on them.

Such gifts would be awesome and since concept art stuff is always my favorite bonus, I would love to get it as a preoder gift.
But since Europe gets left out so often ... meh.
