Basically what I'm asking is, if you were :sawit: , could you handle it?

Me, no. I'd need too much time to think up such crappy testimony. Plus, I don't sweat that much either.

I 'unno, it's been ages since I played 1-1, but, really, Sahwit comes off as a guy who was decent at first, but then circumstance put him in a situation where a lesser crime turned to murder in cold blood.

Not to mention he had to desperately find someone to pin the crime on and then struggle through court only to get caught in the end.

Dunno, I kinda pity the guy, but that's also 'cause he seems really nervous and shaky. I tend to feel bad for those kinda people.

It had been a while since I'd played any cases, until one day I decided to play the first game again. I played through 1-1 and realized what a wuss Sahwit is compared to all the other witnesses. He breaks almost at the first sign of trouble.

The sad part is.... I'm not sure if I would've done much better.

If I were him, I'd give up the life of crime. He's clearly not suited to it.

Personally, I wouldn't even tell the police that I'd witnessed Larry leaving Cindy's apartment.

And since the police wouldn't have any evidence/testimony as to where I was when Cindy died, all I'd have to do is wait for the statute of limitations to run out (in the AA world, it is 15 years for murder - as said in 1-4).

And then I'd get away with it, without any fear of being arrested (obviously). :enguard:

I guess I could have done a better job.

Rule one of trying to frame somebody with your testimony: Be absolutely SURE of the time.
Rule two: Don't try to fit the one you're trying to frame into what you have done. (Sahwit didn't try that, he didn't even come so far)
Rule three: Be as vague as possible. It might be the attorney misses something and you get away without giving too much information.

Sahwit screwed up badly with the time. Then he actually heard that there was a blackout and statim throws out another testimony that contradicts that info. Ergo: He should have stayed with the newspaper selling that day.

No, thanks, really. I would be half-bald, be small, have a sort of verruca on the forehead and carry a wig on my head. I don't aim at throwing wigs on people like rookies attorneys, or stealing in peoples' houses. And I would sweat and wag myself under the stress while I present my very long and useless testimony. Disgusting...

So, no.
