I'm replaying 1-4 at the moment and the dramatic moments/twists in it are very well done :D
Spoiler:
Even though I sort of remembered, I was a bit like "HOLY CRAP, WTF!" early on in Day 3 when Uncle :yogi: gives his testimony and it seems fine, you think you lost the trial and the Judge actually declares his guilty verdict (!) and then... Larry (witness) pops up! Man... brilliant.

And then the part when
Spoiler:
Edgey objects to his defence and tries to confess to DL-6.. Freakin' Epic.

I hope GS5 has more freakin' dramatic moments like this, awesome :D

I loved the part when you
Spoiler:
cross examine the parrot
too.

It's been so long since I've played any PW. I'm guessing there would be a lot of twists I wouldn't remember. I guess I'll be in for some surprises when I finally get around to re-playing the games :will:

1-4 is my all time favorite case. Love the twists, the surprises, and the cross examination of the parrot.

Neon Lemony Koopa, I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree with your opinion. 2-4 kicketh the butt of 1-4, (although 2-3 was awful).

Also, the part where you cross-examine the
Spoiler: 1-4
parrot
wasn't so great for me, but I loved the part that led to this:

Spoiler: 1-4
:karma: Tsk tsk tsk... Well, Mr. Wright?
Perhaps you'd like to cross-examine the parrot for a little comic relief, hmm?

:nick-sweat: (Yeah, yeah, very funny. You're a sore winner, von Karma.)
(Wait a second...)
("Cross-examine the parrot"?)

:maya-shock: Wh-what is it, Nick?
No... you're not going to...!?

:object: Your Honor!
The defense would like to take Mr. von Karma up on his proposal!

:udgy: Take Mr. von Karma up?

:karma-scream: On his... proposal?

:object: Exactly, Your Honor!
I would like to cross-examine the witness's pet parrot!

:udgy: O-order! Order!
Uh... well, what do you think, Mr. von Karma?

:karma: Need you even ask!? This is a farce! I object!

:object: :objection:
Wait a second!
You were the one who suggested I cross-examine the parrot, von Karma!
I have a right to do as you suggested!

2-4 is really good too! 2-4 had some of the most shocking TURN OF EVENTS in the cases. 3-5 was superb also.
But I love 1-4 so not clicking those spoilers :D

1-4 is THE best case ever. The Edgeworth story, an absolutely satanic prosecutor, Missile the police dog and some great twists and turns.
- grim_tales, you started the PW thread on Digital Spy right? :)

Let's be fair. ALL the final cases are awesome.
coughexcept4-4cough.

I have to agree; replaying the case, you often forget how close Edgey gets to Guilty, including actually BEING guilty for about 10 seconds!
I'm gone for so long, and the colors got all psychedelic! Woohoo!

I haven't finished 1-4 yet, in a way thats why I love 1-4 as its one of the most hopeless cases at times and very dramatic.
