Anyway, this is for discussing your favourite music in the series.
I am OBSESSED with Steel Samurai Ballad and Doubted People. They are both very sad songs, and they both make me cry every time I listen to them. I also like Guilty Love, Fragrance of Dark Coffee (or whatever Godot's theme is called) Speak up, Pup. I mean, who doesn't?
The Guitar's Serenade is also one of my favourites. I like listening to it, it's such a calm song.
I also LOVE the Gyakuten meets Orchestra music. It's amazing. I wish we could play that sort of stuff in my school's band

I really like Investigation ~ Middle 2002, a random one.
Luke Atmey's theme is good too.
My favourite Objection music is the one from Apollo Justice, my favourite "Tell the truth" is from JFA, my favourite Cross examination is from AA and my favourite "Court Begins" is from T&T.

1. Maya's Theme (Just love the melody, so bright and cheery. Also like the ballad.)
2. Luke Atmey's Theme (Simply for the harmonics.)
3. Lordly Tailor (Love the baroque feeling that it gives off.)

Dahlia Hawthorne's Theme- Just a beautiful song. Sounds great on the flute!
Godot's Theme- I think EVERYBODY loves this song! I am a huge fan or jazz, so I loved this instantly. I especially love the orchestra and jazz versions.
Mask DeMasque's Theme- ESPECIALLY the orchestra version. KICK. ASS. It sounds like tango which I adore!
Guitar's Serenade- The game version sucks, but the orchestra version is BEAUTIFUL. I cried when I first heard it.
Furio Tigre's Theme- Big band for the win! The jazz and orchestra versions make it sound even more awesome!
Turnabout Sisters Theme- Such a cute song! The ballad is very nice as well.
Trucy's Theme- Happy times! It makes me feel so happy listening to it!
Recollection: A Hurt Fox- I thought this song was really beautiful for some reason. I want an orchestrated version of this too.
Age Regret Reward- I mostly like the Cadenza version.
And I pretty much like the courtroom songs from all the games.
As for AAI music....
Kay's Theme- Sounds like Crash Bandicoot music almost :D
Lang's Theme & Badd's Theme- Both really rockin' tunes
Calisto's Theme- YAY MORE BIG BAND! I missed it since Tigre's theme. Must... Have... JAZZ VERSION!!!!!!!!

Side note: I kinda wish they did a Gyakuten Meets CHOIR album! You know, all the AA songs sung by a choir accompanied by a piano, kinda like they did with Sailor Moon.

...in all of its forms!The original track is awesome in itself, of course...
But then the version with lyrics? EPIC!! I've got it memorized, and it gets stuck in my head way too often.
And I even like the ringtone version (got it set on my phone right now!).
My very favorite incarnation, though...is Reminiscence ~ Steel Samurai's Ballade.
It sets the mood in 2-4 perfectly -- it's SO HEARTBREAKING.
The very fact that it's based on such a happy, upbeat tune makes the slowness painfully gorgeous...just dripping with feelings of miracles that never happen. ...So many of the courtroom themes are amazing... I'm tempted to name off a ton of Apollo's court themes that really stand out... but my two favorite court themes of all in the series might have to be the ones that play at 0:27 and 0:58 in this trailer.I think they are, respectively, "Cornered 2004" and "Cornered (Variation)". I think. I can never seem to get all their titles straight.
...And now, a huge list that I am too indecisive to narrow down! (and that I even wish I could keep expanding forever -- too many awesome tracks!!!)

I love all the songs in the original 3 soundtracks. Though each game has a different composer, it all flows together smoothly. It's just mindblowing (or hair).
I don't like the new fangled techo-ish stuff in AJ.

Examination ~ Allegro 2004 (T&T)
It's just such a fitting theme for a cross-examination. It's intense in that you're getting close to a breakthrough but it still has a mysterious investigative feel to it.

For the same reasons as above really.
Pursuit ~ Cornered! (JFA)
I dunno why I just love it. There's something about it that really makes the moment awesome when you hear it in game paired with a witness freakout.
Objection! 2002 (JFA)
Not quite as intense as the first game's, but JFA is really meant to feel much less hopeful going up against Franziska. This is more of a "Eureka!" sounding theme. I think it fits a bit more personally.
Trial Opening 2002 (JFA)
Wow this theme is just very... regal. It's especially fitting for entering the courtroom knowing you're against Franziska, who manages to combat EVERY SINGLE THING with her great logic.
Yeah... I think I'll just go ahead and say "The entire JFA soundtrack".

I'm just going to say that, Turnabout Sisters' Theme is my favourite song in AA ever! 2001 version, 2002 version, the Arranged version, and most of all, Turnabout Sisters' Ballade.

Favorite Cross-Examination theme: T&T, AJ, PW, AAI, JFA
Favorite Objection theme: T&T, JFA, AAI, AJ, PW
Favorite Pursuit theme: JFA, T&T, AAI, AJ, PW
Favorite Announce the Truth theme: AAI, T&T, JFA, AJ, PW
Favorite Courtroom theme: Tie between T&T/AAI, JFA, PW, AJ
From PW, I really liked: Age, Regret, Reward, Steel Samurai theme, Jake Marshall's theme, and the DL-6 Reminiscence theme.
From JFA, I liked Congratulations Everybody Again, the Steel Samurai Ballad, and Eccentric.
T&T had plenty of awesome themes like Mask*DeMasque's theme, Luke Atmey's theme, Furio Tigre's theme, Victor Kudo's theme, Larry Butz's theme, etc. I don't think there was a single bit of music introduced in this game that I didn't love or at least, like.
Apollo Justice had a few decent themes as well, most notably the Kitaki's theme, Trucy's theme, Ema Skye's remix, the Troupe Gramarye theme, Guilty Love, and Drew Studios. Guitar's Serenade was okay but I much preferred the Orchestrated version.
AAI's music was okay. A few themes that stuck out to me were the Pursuit, Announce the Truth, Interesting People, and Confrontation Presto themes. Though I also really liked Detective Badd's, Kay Faraday's, Gumshoe's remixed, and Shi-Long Lang's theme.
I haven't heard much of AAI2's music. Though so far I like the Pursuit theme and that judge lady's theme.

Oh, sorry about that, my mistake.
I personally believe it is bad.
The instruments, the sounds are, most of the time, too different from the style that Masakazu Sugimori created, and so are the songs themselves. The AJ composer, Horiyama, tried to adapt the AA music style to the DS' sound capabilities with new instruments, and failed.
Don't get me wrong, I can stand difference. After all, AAI was different, yet it created its own style, very Edgeworth-based, and I love it. Iwadare succeeded with the AAI soundtracks. Horiyama didn't. A lot of the tracks are boring, lack movement, lack twist, swing. You don't have any gems in AJ's soundtrack. Swinging Tiger from T&T was a gem, so was Turnabout Sisters from AA, the Pursuit themes from AA and T&T, the Psyche-Lock theme from JFA, Trick and Magic from JFA... yet the only thing close to a gem I can find from AJ is Trance Logic. The only good themes are the ones that followed a very strict norm, like the Cross-Examination themes and Announce the Truth... in fact, Announce the Truth 2007 wasn't even that good, too unoriginal. The rest, the ones that were left to Horiyama's imagination, were severely lacking, almost forced sometimes. Sometimes even annoying, see Trill Theme ~ Suspense (the AJ one, not the one that runs through the whole series), and, dare I say it, Trucy's theme. I frankly hate it. They tried to reinvent Maya's theme, and failed. Miserably. What's Guilty Love? A standard Japanese guitar riff. The Search themes are good once, then get painful to sit through, when they are supposed to create an environment of motivation to the player. Every time I hear them in-game, I feel... stuck. And the Reminiscence themes, ALL OF THEM, sound like they come out of a JRPG. Same with Won The Case Lawsuit. Uninspired, unoriginal, unfitting with the Ace Attorney style.
It's like Horiyama didn't want to make an Ace Attorney soundtrack for AJ, yet had to, so leafed through the previous OSTs and tried to copy some stuff, succeeded with some, failed with the rest, and had one or two strokes of originality, like the Kitaki theme, or the innovation of featuring a song with lyrics (written by Shu Takumi, by the way), a song I can only stand when listening to the Orchestra 2008 version.
Terrible composer choice in my opinion, specially when considering AJ was supposed to follow the AA formula while innovating with its formula.
I hope I expressed my opinion sufficiently. AJ OST fans, I didn't mean to offend you, this is the honest expression of what I feel when listening to the AJ music.

First and foremost, the best Ace Attorney song is Investigation ~ Cornered. This song is just amazing.
The best Objection theme is Trials and Tribulations, easily.
The best Cross-Examination theme is Ace Attorney's Examination ~ Allegro 2001. This is a big favorite of mine.
Best Court Begins theme belongs to Justice for All. Epic.
The best Courtroom Lounge theme is Neverending Overture. The other Phoenix Wright ones are good too, but I think this one blows them away.
Also a big fan of Confess the Truth 2009
Shi-Long Lang's Speak up, Pup!, as well as Tyrell Badd's The Truth isn't Sweet are completely badass.
Godot's Fragrence of Dark Coffee is incredible.
And as much as I dislike Klavier Gavin, Guilty Love is awesome.
Also a fan of Ace Attorney Investigation's Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly and Confrontation ~ Presto 2009
Honorable mentions to Great Revival, every Turnabout Sisters Theme, as well as the Ballad, and Gumshoe's theme.

3. Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly (GK1) - I was on the fence about this game for a while, stumbling across this tune on Youtube persuaded me to get it! XD
2. Search Core 2002 (Matt Engarde's theme) - I nearly shit a brick when I saw the Engarde reveal for the first time.
1. Investigation ~ Cornered (Ace Attorney ver.) hands down. I still remember finally nailing Von Karma at 2am and this music starting up... so much awesome.

I just adore the Baroque-like quality of this piece. It exudes high-class.
The Fragrance of Dark Coffee
Who doesn't like this song? It's so mellow and jazzy, and it has a ton of depth. Underneath those dulcet instrumentals, you might detect an edge of melancholy. It speaks so much for Godot's character on it's own.

How does any Ace Attorney game feel complete without hearing this? It just doesn't. I realize I'm ragging on Investigations by stating this, b-but... Phoenix should of shown up at least once!

I can't lie to myself - it's a bad ass song.
Since I can't decide which one I like the best, all of the Pursuit themes. The energy for them is superb. They are part of what makes the experience in court so magnificent and exciting ... there's nothing like that feeling when you're right about to push someone who deserves it right over the edge!
Also all of the tracks on the Cadenza album, if that counts. They are all great renditions.
Also basically the whole of Gyakuten Kenji 2's OST. I didn't much care for the original Investigation's OST aside from a few select tracks, but they really outdid themselves with the new game's music. It blew my mind when I first listened to it (Usually I wait until playing the game itself to hear any of the OST for the first time, but since I figured I wouldn't get that chance with GK2 for a good long time I gave in.) I have a special fondness for Yumihiko's themes. They are strangely catchy.
Oh, and just for the record, Justice for All had the best OST of the first three games in my opinion.

That being said, my favorite Cornered theme is AJ's, with AAI and PW1's coming in pretty close, my favorite Trial will always be T&T's, my favorite Examination/Questioning theme is a tie between PW1's and AJ's, and my favorite Opening Investigation theme is PW1's.

PW:JFA - Congratulations Everybody, Again. Sounds catchy.
PW: T&T - Luke Atmey's theme. It's classy and in-game, it's stated that he composed it himself.
AJ: AA - Trance Logic. I didn't like this game's music but this is one of the few good ones.
ME:AAI - Calisto Yew's and Quercus Alba's theme. Both of those theme are great themes for great villains.
AAI2 - WOW. I can't begin to list a favorite since I have many of them. I prefer Solution ~ Calm Moment, Hakari Mikagami's theme, Restless People, Strange People, Investigation ~ Middlegame, Investigation ~ Core, Marie Miwa ~ Hug and Kiss, Pursuit ~ Wanting to Find the Truth (Best Pursuit theme ever!!!!) and "The Man Who Masterminds the Game" (Best villain has best final boss theme and breakdown). No, the last one doesn't tell you who this theme belongs to so it's not spoilerish.
Personally, my favorites are:
AAI2 > PW: T&T > AAI > PW: AA > PW: JFA > AJ: AA
I really like AAI2's soundtrack. It's the best, hands down. EVERY track is AMAZING. Beats the heck out of every other tracks in the other games.
