Are you nuts? There have been over 80 posts in this thread over the past 72 hours. That's an average of a better than a post per hour. Granted, most of them were from just a few people... But still. "Slow?"

Anyway, yeah, I'll put up a new recording of "The Kind of Guy You Can Trust" sometime soon, probably tomorrow. And I'll see if I can get my little project done sometime in the next couple days, too ...

First of all, 72 hours is THREE DAYS! Not two. :-P Hold on while I count how many there have been in the last TWO days.

Edit: In the last 48 hours there have been 45 posts. And half of them are me trying to get discussion going again! :meekins:

Upon counting last weekend's posts over a period of two days, Saturday and Sunday, it was determined that were were, in fact, 44 posts in the same amount of time ... almost the exact same number as this weekend!

Well, Final Fantasy 3 Girl?! Are you still going to stand there foolishly looking at me with those foolish fool's eyes and foolishly tell me that there is an abnormally low amount of posts over the past 2 days?!

Suddenly I feel the urge to write a Franziska song that uses the word "fool" an insane amount of times.

So when does the JFA musical project begin? I wanna be Matt Engarde!

Okay. You asked for it. I spontaneously came up with random melodies that pass for music. :p And I sung the whole of Perfection Incarnate.

Using nothing but Sound Recorder and a bad microphone.

I have no instruments so it's all a cappela. Besides my voice, the only other things that you hear are a plastic cup I knocked over that somehow fit into the scene perfectly, and a discarded homework sheet used as the letter :)

...The only part I think I did well is von Karma's last verse. Cause after I sang that I stopped the recording, punched the air, and was like "YES! YES! YEEEES!" ^-^

And I have two versions! One is just the vocals and sound effects. And the second one has the "Reminiscence: Classroon Trial" music from Ace Attorney as he tasers them! Cause I think it fits that scene. I know we just wanna hint at the game music, but there it is anyway. Cause I have no fear :)

The version with just me, no music:

http://media.putfile.com/Perfection-Inc ... th-just-me

The version with the Reminiscence music at the end:

http://media.putfile.com/Perfection-Inc ... at-the-end

...Yeah. *passes out due to lack of air* :beef: :-p

lalalei- Your voice sounds to young and cute! I like the way your speaking voice sounds for Maya. I can't remember now, have you put up some auditions yet for voice-acting, or are you interested? ^_^

The tune sounds like it is still in the rough stages, but I still like your lyrics muy mucho! <-- see? proof I know Spanish XD

Lalalei, I loved your voice clip... audition... type thing! (Aaah, school is melting my BRAAAAIN :meekins: ) It could have been just a tiny bit clearer, but overall, I think you'd make an awesome Maya. :maya:

And the melody sounds great for Perfection Incarnate, but it was a little hard to hear in places. Maybe you could play it on a piano or something? The music at the end was a nice touch. =)

I ... have to admit though ... that ... I'm not sure if I like your singing voice as much as your speaking voice .... I'm sorry. :sadshoe:

Well, I agree that your voice-acting is better than your singing, lalalei, but everybody has areas that are stronger than others. I think one of the reasons I'm so amazed by your recording is that I can hear so much emotion and enthusiasm in your reading that I would have difficulty mustering. Muy bien hecho. :-)

^_^ Thanks! I think I wasn't singing well cause I had phlegm in my throat. Or I didn't have a melody to follow since I made it up as I went. Or maybe I just can't sing. :p

Maya's about my age (I'm 16), so her voice was pretty easy and fun to do.

I was going to record her JFA line "Food, Nick! FOOOOOOOOOD!" at the end, but after a few test recordings it became apparent that the microphone couldn't handle it. :( I liked that line. :(

Say! I had a thought.

Since we have "Anything to Win" recorded and the lyrics to my song on paper...Maybe we could combine the two songs somehow! Then maybe we could find a place for von Karma to sing it in the context of the script!

Or just keep em seperate ^^

Who knows what we'll do with the songs we get. Remember, these are all still demos, and we have the time to make them even more awesome! Anyway, when I get online in about 30 mins I'll be collating the scripts I got, writing 1-4 court1 and 'I gotta Lotta life!' which will need moosic to in with it at some point. Keep up the good work peoples!

Wow, just listened to 'The Samurai Always Wins!'... you guys have done a terrific job with this!

The only bits of criticism I can offer is that at the very beginning (00:03) there is a note off in the steel samurai theme - very noticable, alas - and Edgeworth's voice is so quiet it's hard to hear. Still, I can hear him better using headphones...

On the plus side, it's absolutely hilarious and full of epic win! I especially love the part in the middle with the lasers, and the 'just like in episode 217' line is pure genius! I can listen to that part over and over again! The final part where they all sing simultaneously is also great! It makes you listen through the song several times so you can try to make out all the different voices.

Also, big props to whoever did Cody - speaking/singing that fast has to be tough.

Much respect for a great song that captures the madness that is Phoenix Wright like nothing else! This stuff would impress the hell out of Capcom!

I'm looking forward to more of these great songs. Also, if there's still a need for people to work on the script/song lyrics, pass me something and I'll try and see if I can do something with it.

At some point, it's a given that Grossberg MUST say something about the days of his youth and the scent of fresh lemon. A line that more screams GROSSBERG has heretofore never been seen. :-P

I love the Grossberg idea, he starts to sing a song about lemons and youth or whatever, and then Phoenix interrupts him. I think this should happen 2 or 3 times ... With each time Phoenix getting a little more exasperated. This could also play into someone else's idea earlier ... about Phoenix having ironic little asides/observations to the audience. The song doesn't need to be more than like 30 seconds long, because he gets interrupted each time he sings it. Just allow him to get a little bit further in the first verse every time he starts, and throw in adlib Phoenix lines like "Oh, come on." and "Not again ..."

By the third time it happens:

Grossberg:
"Ah, my youth, like a fresh lemon scent
No worries about bills or paying the rent
Remembering my youth, bittersweet in my heart
Slightly painful, like my hemmoroids whenever I-"

Phoenix: "Hold it! Don't we have enough pointless singing going on?! We don't need songs about youth OR your buttocks!"

Grossberg: "Ahem! I see. So everyone gets a song except me, is that it?"

Something like that :P

Of course the best song would be one about how no lady and resist Grossburg. Just look at the facts Hemorroids, an obsession with lemons, an AMASING figure, and he has the word gross in his name. That automatically makes a man 100 times more appealing that any other man! :grossburg: <---Mr. Sexy

Edgeworth song is finally written (and special thanks to Ff3girl, my brother Michael, and Pennfalath--yes, I DID use the Make it Right reprise), but it'll take a day or two to get it recorded in that program seeing as how I'm still a n00b at using that and the thing is roughly six minutes long.
