Must be because the graphic is simply moving up and 'wrapping'. He must have accidentally forgotten to set the button graphic to be in front of it.

Okay, I downloaded this yesterday, saw the tutorials, and am getting the hang of it..sorta..One question though.
I might have missed this but regardless, I have to ask: Is there a way to do a witness testimony with the whole pressing, presenting, etc, etc?

This site has some PW arrangements already in OGG format.

Also, This converter is very good for converting mp3 and wav files to OGG if anybody needs one. It's free.

I don't like the sound of many of them. If people want to make serious cases, the only was is to make their music sound like the originals. Also, despite the fact the music's in OGG, the one I downloaded wouldn't be properly loopable without some editing.

Why has the IT format been overlooked? Well, if I find a tracker I'll be in luck. A PW IT file would probably only weight around 150kb, sound perfect, and have perfect looping.

What I will do for everyone shortly is convert the MP3 rips to wav files and make them loopable then OGG them and give you all a link. I'll post a link in here when it's done or get MechaBowser to link to it in his first post

Fair dos - I haven't played any of them myself as I don't have a player for them so don't know what they're like, but I thought I'd whack the link up anyway as somebody might find a use for them and it's a Japanese site so it's not something you'd come across on an average google search. Hopefully the converter will be useful though ^_^

this is weird....when I try to run it off my memory stick at home it fails but at school it works fine. Maybe it's because I made my case on the computer then put it on the memory stick....I'll do some further research and then put up the results on the tutorials part.

Also, for the next release couldn't you just add in the exclamation mark penalty system from the first game, then update it later so you can have either one?

Your home machine and your school machine would be recognizing your pin-drive under a different letter. And the case knows itself as the Letter from School

I.E

school says it's G:\
home says it's F:\

The PW:AA MP3s . I've sat and managed to get the courtroom audio to almost perfectly loop but theres a very small gap where it doesn't run smoothly. I believe it's windows being dumb because even in Winamp it doesn't loop 100% yet if you were to do the timing, it should do.

Question, do you think it is possible to program/code the shaking so that it only shakes inside the game, not the entire window? IIRC, in the real game, the top half of the screen only shook, not the bottom too. So it doesn't seem to make sense to make the entire window shake.

The other reason is, I find it that while I'm recording a video of a trial made with your trial maker, that sometimes the offset of the window gets slightly off after the shaking. At this point, the recordng screen would sometimes show the window bar, or the borders around it, cutting some of the screen off.

Also, I noticed when playing the games, the shaking of the screen, and the text bars have a slightly different shaking path, which is a 3rd reason why I'm asking about a different shaking method.

From where should I acquire my .WAV files? The "eobjection.wav" (edgeworth's objection in english) from FinalTurnabout doesn't work, but the Phoenix objection you provided with your case does. Where is this from?

Seems like your mid-understanding so I'll explain.

Step 1. Convert MP3 -> WAV
Step 2. Modify WAV so it would be a suitable loop
Step 3. Convert WAV to OGG

Program used: AltoMP3 Maker Gold

What I'm saying is no matter how MUCH I try I cannot get the OGG file to loop smoothly.

P.S you can't play MP3 files in this anyway, you can only use OGG files. you should read the documentation Garyuu

Well, of course you can't get original PW music looping properly. (You may be able to but you'll have a hard time.) PW music uses a format similar to IT; it's made up of samples playing at certain times, in brief. (That was a bad description.) I don't know why MechaBowser didn't include IT support. Mine will have it.

I did get many Phoenix Wright orchestral tracks perfectly looping. I did a few and Gerkuman did a few. If there's a gap at the end, like I said, it's something to do with the file. If it's something else you need to edit it more carefully if possible.

And of course I know you can only use OGGs. Ack

Okay from that post it sounds like you're just trying to prove you seem to know more about the audioplay system.

Anyway, I know I can't get it to loop like it does in the game. I was cropping the song so it would loop almost like it does in the game just not have the initial intro part of it. Usually you can't do this but with PW music the intro is pretty much the same as some parts later on in the song, so you can start from there and wait for a point where it loops. All of the MP3s that are downloadable do this, so all you simply need to do is take from

START1<--songsongsong-->START2

Cut out START2 then it will forever loop

START1<--songsongsong-->START1<--songsongsong-->

What I'm on about is that in the case I have made right now, no matter how much I tweak the file (I use Audicity. Just felt like pointing that out as you suggested it..) I cannot it to loop seemlessly, theres either too long a "silence" gap or too short and it doesn't sound correct

Just as a note, this is the Lobby MP3 I'm on about here. and NOT the one that comes with the CASEMAKER. the one from PW:AA

The problem with MechaBowser's case maker is that it doesn't support an "intro.ogg"/"loop.ogg" feature like mine will. Without having this working, you'll sadly never have it the way you want.

It seems that he has yet to release the new player then. Be patient folks as he's still creating and fixing things. If you read the first topic it states that the evidence is broken at this moment in time.

That will be the way the animation has been set up.

Oh I see. I suppose it naturally centers those so unless you modify the gif to be the exact screen-size and align them on the right-side I dont think you can.

The image is in the right place, but the rest of the face is missing. When I try to add that on (with Fireworks MX) it makes blocks of the image seethrough.

I can probably get many witnesses from this forum to say I've done nothing but help. If you want to make an enemy, be my guest. I never once said 'mine will be better'. The fact that I mentioned my case maker means very little.

If you can't solve a really simple problem, that's not my fault. Don't take it out on me.

Where have I stated that I am seeking to make an enemy? I'm also not doubting that you've been helping in the forum. what I am stating is that you are not helping this topic with your "mine will be better" comments.

That's because I WANT Mech's to support it! Sheesh! I've been friendly with him! Sure, we're not best buddies, but we talk online and I have nothing against him. I'm simply trying to suggest things here. Have I mentioned that intro/loop feature elsewhere?
