Last December, I saw a YTP that used Phoenix's "Objection!" I searched around and eventually found the iOS version of the trilogy. What really got me hooked was Maya's personality in 1-3 and the entirety of 1-4. To this day, 1-4 is still my favourite case.

I remember initially seeing the Ace Attorney series somewhere and thinking "Wow a game about lawyers? That can't possibly be fun."

Then about 5 years later or so, I picked it up the mobile version off the App Store and was hooked from there.

I first knew about the series when I read a review of JFA in a magazine. I didn't really think about it much since I'm not into law.

A few years later, I read in an issue of Nintendo Power a review of the then upcoming Apollo Justice game. That's when the series caught my interest. I played AJ, and I liked the game. After finishing AJ, I downloaded and played the trilogy (the NDS version ROM's.) As you can see I started out late into the series and worked my way backwards XD

... and this for Apollo...

I remember learning about Ace Attorney during those days when I was just starting to learn about using the internet. I was in an internet cafe in a mall when I stumbled upon this website, promoting Apollo Justice.

Okay... so it's a game about being a defense attorney? Cool. So I read more details.

"So this Phoenix guy was a legendary ace attorney, and is handing the baton to this new guy Apollo? Huh... I guess he's so GOOD as an attorney he's too busy now?"

^For some reason, I assumed this legendary attorney, Phoenix, has to go overseas or something... so he has to leave his office to his trainee, Apollo. But then, a big case/s comes in, so Apollo will have to take it on without his boss... turns out, he's talented. An ace attorney. Something like that.

ANYWAY- I found the premise interesting. Fast forward a few years (or was it months?) later, my brother got to play the game. We didn't know which was supposed to go first, so he plays Apollo's first case (while I watch). At that time, I vaguely remember about seeing the game before. Then, when Phoenix appears, I remember that there were games which were supposed to go first, so I tell him to get the first game. He stops playing Apollo and plays Phoenix Wright first. Yeeeeaaahh... I just watched him play- I'm the one who finished Justice For All and T&T though, since he had gotten tired of playing by that time cause of my constant nagging for him to finish. Since he kinda 'stopped' playing, I went ahead and finished case 2 and 3 of Apollo as well... he insisted on finishing the last case though, so I was on backseat for the final case.

Me and my brother always knew the "Objection!" phrase, and I knew the game very slightly. My brother always told me that "there's a great lawyer-game in GBA and DS, I used to play a little when I was young" etc. Last summer, I saw him playing the second game in his cellphone. He told me he finished the first game and trying to beat the second one. I didn't knew Ace Attorney had so many games, I was so surprised about them and I've searched every single wiki about them and their scores. When we were sitting, I wanted him to show me the "Objection!" phrase. He opened the game but his saves were gone, and he stopped playing it. (I saw the objection in the first case, though) Then I wanted the game so badly but he said "If you play the second one, you'll get a spoiler from the first game where someone died and came back" (you know who he was talking about) But I didn't cared about it, and started Ace Attorney series with the 2nd game. (I know, it's kinda bad, but I was in love with Ace Attorney Wikis and I learned many things about every game, including the first one. Though I think the first game is quite good) So I finished the finished the first game in September I think, and the third one in September or October. Finished the 4th in November or December, I don't know. Now I'm playing the 5th one, AAI: ME, it's really awesome to play as Miles, he's my favourite character in AA series. (It was OVER AWESOME in T&T when he was the defense) If I can handle the English patch to my cellphone, I'll play the second game and the D&D as ending. Do I really have to play PL vs PW?

And I have a question about Miles in D&D, if anyone's interested?

I saw my cousin playing it once and I was curious how a game where we play as a lawyer would work. Plus, I was looking for something to challenge my wits so you know. Then before I know it, not only did I experience some fairly challenging puzzles and the over the top memes firsthand, but also entered a world of amazing quirky characters in some of the most well told stories with lots of feels at the end of every case. I'm loving it so far, midway through the second game, not as good as the first but still likey. :edgey:

It's a long, long story. :think-pw:

Anyway, it all started when I was on Sandbox, searching for games which are related to Court, and then I found a game called "Phoenix Wright FTW". I downloaded the game, and found the game Amazing and liked it, so I searched in the Internet about "Phoenix Wright". Then, there was many results, and one of them said "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Rom Download". So, I then downloaded the Rom, and played it on a DS Emulator. I felt great, so after completing it, I downloaded another one, then another one, then... (Well, to tell you something, I liked the series, alot.) :phoenix:

And after completing Ace Attorney 2, I was obessed in Ace Attorney Series. So, I began on creating Ace Attorney FanGames. And thus, I got hooked on Ace Attorney. :pearly: Later, I found a site which is a Fan-Site of all Ace Attorney Fans (about 6 months before my Join in Forums). From there, I learnt about "Ace Attorney Online". I played about 9 Trials or so. I want to create a Trial in AAO. I'm currently creating Ace Attorney Fangames in GameMaker. :pearl:

But I couldn't play Dual Destinies and Professor Layton Crossover Game. :sad-maya:

I first heard of it via the Nintendo Power magazine (RIP, Nintendo Power). At that time, I wasn't interested in a game such as Ace Attorney.

Years later, in 2011 or 2012, I came upon some guy doing a playthrough of all the cases in Ace Attorney, Justice For All, and Trials and Tributations. So, for my birthday, I asked my parents to get the Ace Attorney games. And the rest just happened afterwards, so yeah.

That's my story of how I got into Ace Attorney.

Heh, this is kinda a long story.

So I'm a Professor Layton fan, right? I've been with the good prof ever since that first game. And as we all know, it doesn't take long to trace a link between him and Phoenix Wright... Long story short, I was browsing for some Professor Layton info - I think I remember I was trying to find out how the whole "gas" thing happened in Diabolical Box - when I come upon a YouTube channel called "Tyranee - The Let's Dub Project". (If you've never heard of it, check it out. It's REALLY AMAZING and REALLY FUNNY.) Anyway, so I watched a few of his vids. Then I saw that he had done something that was relevant to Phoenix Wright. So I got curious, and looked it up, and then I had to play them all.
Then the story continues on as is. I've actually loved the two franchises by themselves for a long time, so you can imagine my love for that crossover. ;3

It was my sibling's fault. They bought the game, started talking about it - and a certain prosecutor - and I got curious. I remember being surprised - I thought it was going to be a semi-realistical-not-over-the-top game, but I got used to the fact very quickly, and enjoyed it. I was staying at mom's place for a few nights, where my sibling also live, and I remember being sleepless that night, playing until six in the morning, enjoying myself immensely. :sahwit:
