Frog was up by 1903 votes over Axel at his highest point. He bled votes horribly during the day, and Axel took the lead at 8 PM. He built up a lead of 313 votes at ~10:45....And then completely collapsed. Phoenix, like Frog, was a powerhouse in the night, and Bomberman, like Axel, was rather weak during it. Phoenix could definitely drop the lead, and then plow through to win at the last minute. It's what he does, after all!
....Of course, as I was typing this, Phoenix gained 30 votes on Bomberman, so maybe we won't need to worry about Phoenix losing the lead at all.

That stat meant that at the time, if Bomber got that many votes on each update, he would win.
Now his value for that is like 6.09. That's how much Phoenix is falling.

The only thing I can think of behind Bomberman's "success" here would be the fact that he is more of a classic character, regardless of game quality--most people have heard of him.

Yeah, that's probably it. But I wouldn't want a classic character to win this thing. Of course, I'm a fan of Mario and Link, but seriously, why should they keep winning year after year. That's why I'm going to vote Edgey instead of Link tomorrow.
