I'm assuming he meant when Ron mentioned the shadow he saw in the CEO's office & it pretty much matched Luke's sprite. <_<

IRIS. IRIS. IRIS. I did NOT want to defend her. I'd rather have played as Miles with him as PROSECUTOR in this case. Srsly. IMO, She has NO endearing qualities.
And she ruined my favorite Goo Goo Dolls song for me ;-;

Oh ok then. I didn't need the shadow to figure it out so I guess I didn't pay so much attention to it. I already knew who the real killer was.

3-2 - the shadow gives it away
3-3 - opening clip

i can understand the first case in each game, but come on... 3-2 and 3-3, they would have been so much better if the identity wasn't revealed to you beforehand.

Now that I think about... That really does ruin the mystery...They should do like they did in 1-5.

Do not.

Also, I absolutely HATED being told who the murderer is. If they just tell me who it is, there's no point in my playing the case. I like working it out for myself, thank you, Capcom.

I agree too but this isn't CSI or Murder She Wrote it. The police in this game are less efective than the guys from police academy. You find clues in plain sight that the cops and detectives missed or thought weren't important. Case in point, in case 2-1
Spoiler:
Nobody noticed that the defendant's name was spelt wrong by a guy who fell and broke his neck (which is instant death I think)

True. This is a "Whodunnit and How?" kind've series! Even if you KNOW who did it, it has NO replay value (no new things upon replaying, such as separate success endings) But to be honest, it doesn't even matter! I LOVE replaying this game! I probably replayed AA 10 + times, and JFA 7 + times! T&T, I'm on my third "lap" since I was busy looking for quotes.

Even so, from what we've played so far, there really isn't that many other people to suspect for any one case. Now If you had a lot of witnesses for one case, that would make it really interesting to try and weed out the killer.

Edit: ....provided they don't show you the killer's face, of course.

Sometimes the utter lack of believability gets to me. There have been entire cases that left me saying, "Oh, COME ON."

That being said, no game is perfect. Not even one with von Karmas.

The title says there are spoilers ;_;

Also- Yes, she was a very important character, and I don't understand their reactions at all. I'm playing through, going "Mia, ffs, your (assumed) ex-boyfriend who is supposed to be DEAD murdered your mom, and you're just standing there!?"

That strikes you guys as odd? What about Misty herself? I'm sure at some point Godot must have said:

If something goes wrong, you'll have to channel her, and if she finds Maya, I'll probably have to kill you.

I just wonder why they didn't lock Misty up and THEN channel Dahlia.

Hmmmmm.....

also, isn't it odd that Misty couldn't control Dahlia in the first place, being the master and all?

and for that matter, if that's the case, chances are she'd still be channeling her the next day.

*though this is just speculation*

I've been thinking about that. After all Maya said in case 2 of JFA about having control over a spirit, and Misty being the Master...it doesn't really make sense. She SHOULD have been able to do it, possibly even easily, taking into account what Maya did say.

Maybe Dahlia was so hell-bent on killing Maya (and indirectly hurting Mia) that Misty couldn't control her? Or something? O_o To be honest, it confused me too.

Anyway, things that pissed me off. Huh. I guess the constant 'onoez Maya's in truble!' scenarios, Franziska's overly whip-happy self, almost all of 2-3 and it's cast, like, Ini Miney, Iris, the fact that some cases show you who the effing murderer was and Phoenix's attitude towards Edgeworth's help in 2-4. Oh, and the Judge being penalization-happy. My DS has suffered a lot of abuse because of that :D

I'm going to be honest here; by T&T's last case I didn't WANT to rescue Maya, I was that sick of doing so. Anything could have happened to her then, and I most likely wouldn't have cared :x

It was kind of annoying how in half the cases, the judge just goes "Okay, Mr. Wright, I don't really care how many good points you've made, it's almost time for Golden Girls, so I'm giving you ONE MORE CHANCE to win your case or your client gets the chair."

All the in-game hype over how awesome :godot: was supposed to be got old, too. Okay, Capcom, Godot is cool, we get it, you don't have to have the characters mention it a half dozen times in every case. :yuusaku:

You think that's irritating? Evidently you've never played Famicom Detective Club Part II. Everyone in the game practically worships one of the characters in it.

Case 3-3 also kinda made me angry. Towards the end, it started to seem a lot like 1-2. (Furio and Redd's office sure look alike, for one thing...)
.................
Oh god, I just pictured Furio in all pink. :beef:
