My absolute least favorite. I can't even remember exactly why... I just remember playing 1-5 and getting extremely angry every time I had to deal with her. I didn't want to defend her, either. I don't care how the case panned out I just have this gut feeling that she really did kill that dude.
Probably the thing I dislike the most about her is that I LOVED younger Ema and she was one of my favorite characters, but older Ema was just ugh. What happened? It annoys me how she complains about everything and her throwing snakoos at people.
I guess I don't hate him but I thought he was boring. I miss Phoenix.

Initially I hated Desiree Delite too but somehow she grew on me. And I love the rest of the characters.

Um....not to belabor the point...but, the fact that one isn't a able to defend oneself or have supernatural abilities doesn't mean that person isn't a Mary Sue. By that logic then, you could exclude almost every Disney princess of being a Mary Sue and, I've got to say, I personally find characters like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella to be very Sue-ish. I'm not saying that Iris is a Mary Sue (I've always seen Regina as a parody of one, as she comes across as over the top and I've never played AJ, so I wouldn't know about Lamiroir) but she definately has Sue qualities. If you look under Mary Sue tropes, Yamato Nadeshiko is listed as a trait. Although I don't see Iris as a Sue, I can see how, in alternate interpretations, she is seen as one, especially in Western culture.
Back on topic, I like Yanni Yogi

I'm assuming you meant to say she isn't smart. Unless you were being sarcastic. And Regina was very sparkling. Though all sparkling things aren't Mary Sues. Just ask Redd White.
I always assumed a Mary Sue was a woman who was perfect, is loved by all, and innocent. Maybe there's more to it.
While I do think Regina is dumb (OK Really Dumb) I will say that it's probably not her fault. She was raised at a circus. Who knows how many Moe jokes she had to endure. It's kind of Russel's fault also, while he had a good heart, and probably didn't want his daughter to be upset, his actions as a father could've been handled better. (Mainly talking about the "stars" thing.) Iris? She was kind of dumb too. Though maybe it's not so much she's dumb as she had too much trust for her sister. Blushing all the time certainly never helped. Lamorir probably isn't really a Mary Sue, but her image as a singer made her look like one.

Ummm, Machi wasn't scared of Daryan himself. He was scared of being deported back to Borginia and getting executed for smuggling. While lying about being blind and that he can speak English made me angry too, Machi didn't know how the courts operated. (In the US) He probably just assumed he get deported back to Borginia, so that's why he didn't talk.
