Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but this thread is about how cute Phoenix and Iris are together as a pairing. If you don't want to talk about that, please find another topic you'd rather talk about, and post there.

Hmm... On-topic, since I'm just making up a topic...
What do you think Feenie and Rissy would argue about?
I can almost see Feenie getting a little "too" disappointed after The Trial (being saddled with a kid, forged evidence, possibly can't take care of Iris anymore?), and Iris loving him so much she's all "SNAP OUT OF IT YOU CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER I BELIEVE IN YOU I LOVE YOU <33333", and he doesn't believe in himself anymore.
I can see him getting veryvery depressed (possibly more than grape juice?), and even though he loves Iris and Trucy very much, he feels like he's let down everyone in his life -- the Judge, Edgeworth, Maya, Mia, the prosecutors, and his own morals.
So I can see them getting really upset about that.
Oh, man, okay, Dollie Story-Time:
So, Feenie's on the couch, depressed, horrified, possibly drunk, and Iris has no idea what to do. He's her Feenie -- her life, her support, who got her though jail and everything and she loves him. So, being the kind person she is, she tries to help him. She does her research and finds out that the one person who stood up for Phoenix Wright was Kristoph Gavin, and so she summons her courage and journeys away from everything familiar into the Big, Bad City and visits Kristoph's office, and asks for help.
He agrees to help her, and even says that he knows a few people at the Borscht Bowl Club who could give Phoenix a job. It's not well-paying or glamorous, but it'll get Phoenix out of the house and Iris accepts it, then tells Phoenix.
And he's not happy about it still, since he still feels guilty and horrible for what he did and all the people he feels he let down, but Iris loves him enough and Trucy loves him enough, and maybe Iris says something like, "I forgive you, Feenie," and Trucy has no idea what's going on, but forgives him, too.
And so he gets his job, befriends Kristoph, and knows he can get through anything with family and friends at his side. <3

i really have no idea why one of my pictures won't show up... maybe the file is too big? (not great with computers, as you can see) I'll post the link and see if it's any better - the fact you can see it - the fanart it's self is a bit pathetic, and no link will change that... Also, i'll give you a link to dahlia's art with the hair recoloured so it's iris. I KNOW it's been done a million times, but I wanted to test my skill and see if I could manage... It's a link cuz the picture's massive, and some computers (like mine) freak and take forever to load. Make sure you zoom in to full size if you have explorer and it zooms out, otherwize it looks bitty and rubbish.

That has to be the reason because none of them have ever given a reason otherwise (except for the lame "Mary Sue" one liner). The fact that P/I is canon and those aren't makes it even worse for them

I know I used to hate Phoenix/Iris, but, after lurking for a while, I've actually come to enjoy it a lot (helped out, of course, by some beautiful fanart ).As a stand-alone character though, I have to say that Iris is probably my least favorite and it's not because she was in a canon relationship with Phoenix. Her refusal to stand up to Dahlia, her portrayl as the "good" twin of the set, the way she acts subservient to so many people and their desires (Bikini, Godot, Dahlia), and the fact that she's never expressed a negative emotion (where's the bitterness at being abandoned by her father? the anger at Dahlia for trying to kill her beloved Feenie? her grudge against Morgan Fey for not trying to find her?). She simply is too passive at times for me to like her.
Nevertheless, I really like the pairing because, above all else, Iris makes Phoenix happy, and he makes her happy, which is, in my opinion, the foundation of their relationship.

Anyway, at first when I played 3-5, I thought Iris was Dahlia, since Dahlia did changed her name once, and probably did it again. So I was really skeptical about Iris. Only AFTER the ending, when Iris revealed her secret, that's when I fell in love with the pairing. <3
The second playthrough, it made me smile how Iris and Phoenix were speechless when they first met again. Throughout it, I fell more in love with the couple, and Iris, herself. Even though I'm a girl, just looking at Iris makes me feel calmer. She's so pretty, especially when she blushes. Gosh, Phoenix, the lucky dog! XD And plus, Iris has such a horrible life. I bet the only time she was really happy was when she was with Phoenix those 6 months, minus the part about betraying.
I never really liked Phoenix/Maya. I could only see them as friends, and nothing more. I don't hate them, though. But that's just my opinion. I try to respect other people's opinions, but sometimes I can't help myself. I actually don't really have any couples that I like in AA besides P/I. Probably because I usually support canon couples.
Anyway, I'm really bad at writing and drawing. (I have no artistic skill, whatsoever) But I enjoy outputting my opinion, and looking at other people's works. :D I like discussing, so bring on the topics!
Oh, great fan-fics, you guys! I rarely read fan-fics anymore after I read fan-fics that I totally disagreed with in the past. But I think I can handle now, if they aren't too... sexual. It's nice to read people's imagination of the characters in the game. We are always in Phoenix's or Apollo's point of view. Anyway, I babbled long enough. Hehe...

I actually think there are very few "M" rated Phoenix - Iris fics that have it as the main plot point.
Better to post here rather than just lurk. You interact and share viewpoints along with reviewing stories, seeing pretty fanart and get a better feel for the pairing itself. Welcome.

Yeah, I accidentally read the M-rated fan-fics... I kind of got scarred. I'm pretty naive (like Iris), but yeah...
Anyway, I read many of the fan-fics already. (Took me so long! D:) So you are the one who made those 2 fan-fics I read yesturday. It's really good. I love the Phoenix and Trucy one-shot. There isn't many family related fan-fics out there, and I really love the relationship that those 2 have.
Mia_Fey's work is awesome. :D They really helped my love for the couple to rise. <3

I wasn't speaking for all shippers, just the SRS BZNS ones. I never really liked Phoenix/Maya. I could only see them as friends, and nothing more. I don't hate them, though. But that's just my opinion. I try to respect other people's opinions, but sometimes I can't help myself. I actually don't really have any couples that I like in AA besides P/I. Probably because I usually support canon couples.
Anyway, I'm really bad at writing and drawing. (I have no artistic skill, whatsoever) But I enjoy outputting my opinion, and looking at other people's works. :D I like discussing, so bring on the topics!
Oh, great fan-fics, you guys! I rarely read fan-fics anymore after I read fan-fics that I totally disagreed with in the past. But I think I can handle now, if they aren't too... sexual. It's nice to read people's imagination of the characters in the game. We are always in Phoenix's or Apollo's point of view. Anyway, I babbled long enough. Hehe...
Anyway, at first when I played 3-5, I thought Iris was Dahlia, since Dahlia did changed her name once, and probably did it again. So I was really skeptical about Iris. Only AFTER the ending, when Iris revealed her secret, that's when I fell in love with the pairing. <3
The second playthrough, it made me smile how Iris and Phoenix were speechless when they first met again. Throughout it, I fell more in love with the couple, and Iris, herself. Even though I'm a girl, just looking at Iris makes me feel calmer. She's so pretty, especially when she blushes. Gosh, Phoenix, the lucky dog! XD And plus, Iris has such a horrible life.
