Currently we're doing a role-play per messenger and I'm pondering if I should turn it into a doujin or not.
I'm not decided yet, but if the role-play works out well, it will be pretty likely.
What I planned for the story is that Phoenix and Maya go on a vacation to Kurain since there will be held a special form of thanksgiving feast and Maya is eager to go. Phoenix wants to join, but the tradition doesn't allow men to participate in the event. It seems hopeless until Maya remembers that if a female member of the clan has a strong admirer, he is a potential member for the family and therefor allowed. Case clear, but what remains is the fact that Phoenix is pretty much in love with his little assistant, but she sees him just as her best friend and big brother ...
We will see how it turns out, but I hope it will be sweet and enjoyable ^^

EDIT: LOL, very curious.
At the time of this posting, there are currently 1459 posts in this thread. And if you take a second look to that little number, you'll see a very curious relationship -- if you divide this number into each of its individual digits, each number is basically equal to the sum of the two before it. I.E. 1 + 4 = 5, and then 4 + 5 = 9. Kinda like a Fibonacci series.

I'm still arguing with myself which pairing I like better - Diego/Mia or Phoenix/Maya ... It's really a tough decision since these pairings are so different and therefor have lots of different features and attributes ...
But it's pretty clear to me that if I search for something especially cute, it has to be Phoenix/Maya! ^^

Strange that CURSOR didn't try to age Maya or Pearl up though. They looked exactly the same as before, even Pearl wasn't that much taller. Is Kurain home to the fountain of youth or something?

No, I think Maya's return shouldn't be due to yet another murder accusation. (Apart from the fact that Maya deserves better and her character allows so many more possibilities especially as the Master, the Maya haters will use it as an excuse to complain about her again.) Well, the japanese kana was "okaeri" -- that's only used when welcoming someone returning to their place of stay (usually their home, although you could also tell that to someone that's temporarily staying at your house when they return from outside). Beat my cousin. She was an A-cup at 20. Three years later, and with no surgery, hormonal treatment or ANYTHING, she's a C-cup. As I said, I've met a very small couple of late bloomers that would give the very definition of "late" itself a decent run for its money.

The kanji verb used for "falling" (including the kanji in the title), "ochiru" (落る), means "falling" in its most literal sense. However, Denshi Jisho offers us the additional meanings "to drop" and "to come down", and my JWPCE dictionary adds "to fall down; to fail (an exam, for instance); to crash, to degenerate, to degrade; to fade, to come out (a stain, for instance)". Thus, the actual meaning of Maya's lines at the start and at the end could very well be taken in several ways, my personal favorite being that she was "falling" deeper and deeper for him, or that she felt she was "falling" below his level, and couldn't believe her eyes when he came back to her.
What do you guys think? My editor said this was the most accurate translation, and since she's a native japanese woman, I'm quite confident in the results, but it seems to me that Cursor himself was well aware of what he was doing and left WAY too much open for interpretation.

By "falling below him" I meant falling in a metaphorical sense, referring to his ability to thoroughly endure and take to the chest whatever life threw at him for seven years and not even visibly flinch even once, compared to her (potentially) relatively easy life now that she's more or less accepted to have taken the Master title in Kurain.
But now that I think of it, it might have even meant falling away from him, for distancing herself so much.
God, this Cursor guy drives me nuts... 
But life would be so boring without him.
