District Court, 9:00 AM, Defense Lobby.

On the couch of the defense lobby was a young woman. Her silky black hair shoulder length shook as the young woman anxiously awaited for the trial to begin. She nervously sat and frowned as her client and family had no arrived yet. She flung her head on the couch and sighed.

(The least they could do is come a pep me up) her blue-violet suit was starting to agitate her, but she figured that it was just her anxiety.

Her name was Crystal, Crystal Wright daughter of Phoenix and Iris Wright. The only problem about being a Wright was living up to the name. She had taken the bar exam and passed wishing to be like her father. She had watched a lot of her father’s court battles and became inspired to be like him. Of course his being her first trial she wasn’t expecting anything easy.

She sighed and rested her body on the soft couch hoping to ease herself.

Then the door to the defense lobby creaked. Crystal swiftly turned her head to the door. Nothing was their, she turned her head towards the pillows and closed her eyes. She soon began to drift to sleep…

“GOOD MORNING!” Crystal yelled in shock as she jumped of the couch and clumsily fell off. She grumbled to herself, and angrily looked up.

Her younger brother Kute, was gleefully smiling at her reaction and lifted her up off the floor. Kute was Crystal’s younger brother who is a very talented musician and always carries a violin on his back. He can be over energetic most of the time and is very optimistic. Like his father he had spiky hair and from his mother he took her cute and adorable smile.

“Heh little jumpy aren’t you?” Kute chukled.

Crystal grunted and turned her head. “No I’m just fine. A little nervous but I’m fine.” She tried to act mature in front of her brother.

Kute grinned and hugged her sister from behind. “Oh c’mon sis don’t pull that act on me. It’s fine to be nervous, besides uncle Polly will be helping you out.”

Crystal sighed. “So is everyone else here?”

Kute nodded. “Yeah everyone else will be here soon I just couldn’t wait to see my big sis so I dashed here first.”

“You ran here with that heavy violin on your back? Don’t you think you’ll hurt you’re back with that thing?”

Kute stylishly wiped out his violin and grinned. “It’ll be worth it when I get to play you’re victory theme.” He began to play his violin to an optimistic tune.

Crystal smacked the instrument and sat back down on the couch. “Can’t you be settle for a few minutes?” Crystal sighed as she laid down again.

Then the door to the defense lobby opened wider and more people walked inside all of them with large grins on their face.

“Well I never thought I would see the day when my little Crystal would shine so bright.” Crystals father Phoenix Wright a 56 year old law veteran who couldn’t help but feel glad that her daughter had taken up law. He still wore his blue beanie hat but he kept his face shaved, wore his black jacket, and surprisingly looked as if he was only in his 30’s. “So are you ready for you’re first trial?” he asked keeping his happy-go-lucky smile.

Crystal felt the wave of anxiety wash away as she saw her father. “Yeah I’m ready!” she gleefully cheered.

“Don’t get too cocky sis, you won’t believe who the prosecution is.” Crystal’s older brother and her twin, Cygnus. Cygnus had a cool aura around him. He wore a blue beanie hat like his dad and had a little bit of peach fuzz on his chin too. He likes to tease people but never goes to far. He also carries a lighter and a handful of pixie sticks with him all the time. So it looks like he’s smoking but he’s really just having sugar sticks and he’s never had a sugar rush though. “Go on guess sis.”

Crystal shrugged. “I don’t know, who?”

Cygnus looked into the distance a bit before replying. “Lola Payne.” Daughter to the infamous Winston Payne…funny how she’s also nicknamed the rookie killer.”

Crystal became nervous again after hearing Rookie Killer. “You’re not making me feel any better Cygnus!” She stomped her foot on the ground.

Cygnus raised an eyebrow. “I’m just saying…” he turned around. “It won’t be easy.”

Just then a beautifull black haired woman that looked similar to Crystal walked in. “Oh Cygnus, give the girl some comfort it’s her first ever trial she needs encouragement.” This woman was Iris Wright Phoenix’s wife and mother to Kute, Crystal, and Cygnus.”

“Yeah come on Cygnus, Crystal worked hard for this trial! The least we can do is make her feel better!” Kute blurted.

Cygnus sighed and shook his head. “Yeah your right. Don’t worry sis the case seems pretty strait forward besides if anything happens you know that well help you and since Uncle Apollo will be co-council with you you’ve got nothing to worry about.”


Crystal felt relieved even more now. “Alright the trial should be starting soon so…where’s Apollo and Truce?” Everyone was at the defense loby excluding the defendant, Apollo, and Trucy.

Phoenix looked at the door. Hmm…I don’t know they should’ve been here by now…”

Just then a puff of blue smoke appeared by the door. Soon it faded and a young woman appeared from the smoke in a blue dress and a blue top hat. “Did you miss me?” The woman cutely said. The woman was Trucy, a beautiful 38 year old magician that was adopted by the Wrights.

“Don’t worry Polly will be here soon he’s just got do be booooring as usual.”

No latter did Apollo in his good looking red suit and antenna hair walk right through the door. “Sorry I’m late Trucy was just bugging me as usual.” Apollo was in a way adopted by Phoenix Wright as an apprentice and he grew well with the family and soon the kids began to call him Uncle. He’s Trucy’s half sister and their mother was in a whole series of events but that’s another story.
Apollo smiled at 22 year old Crystal. “You’ve grown so much I can remember when you were just little baby. You were so fragile back then…but now I suppose you’re looking like your father.”

Crystal blushed at Apollo’s words. “Uuuuncle…no need to flatter me… I’m just a rookie…the trial will start soon…we should get inside the courtroom.”

Apollo raised and eyebrow. “What about your client?”

Crystal’s hair flew back as she was shocked to forget such an important detail.

“Yeah hehe I kinda forgot about him…” she playfully rubbed her neck embarrassed.

The door opened once again a blond haired woman walked inside wearing a suit and was balancing a tray of food. “ Ah…Crystal Wright…you’re going to defend me….right?” the woman seemed very young and timid.

Crystal walked up to the woman. “Of course, I promise that I’ll get you off the hook Ms. Serve.

“I hope so I don’t like prison that much…” the woman was Deedee Serve. One of the maids at the Richton Estate. The owner of the home was recently murdered by a spice know as cumin he was highly allergic to it and died within minutes of ingestion. His name was Jacques Swellow.

“Court will soon be in session please enter the court room.” The bailiff piped up.

All eyes were on Crystal. “Well good luck.” Everyone said and soon left Crystal and Apollo as they walked into the court room.

Kute Wright: Age 20, Kute is very optimistic and outgoing and always carries around a violin because he is a great musician. Because of these factors most girls find him to be very “cute”

Cygnus Wright: Age 22, Cygnus is the oldest out of his siblings and acts cool most of the time. He has a sweet tooth and always had a handful of pixie sticks. Although he teases people from time to time he can be very nice and friendly. He is the older twin to Crystal.

Phoenix Wright: Age 56, A well know man. He was once a great defense attorney but has retired and has taught hr daughter the tricks and trade of being a defense attorney. He is married to Iris.

Iris Wright: Age 55, A woman with endless amount of love for all her family and friends. She is very caring for anyone and will put herself at risk for their own saftey sometimes. Of course being motherly can be annoying. Married to Phoenix Wright.

Trucy Wright: Age 38, A magician with an enthusiastic attitude, she was adopted by Phoenix when she was younger and is always trying to be dramatic. She is very helpful to her younger siblings as well. She is Apollo’s half sister.

Apollo Justice: Age 45, An eager defense attorney that has the ability to perceive through people’s habits. Besides that he is a nice guy who is very sarcastic and is willing to help anyone in need.

Deedee Serve: Age 29, a young timid woman who is a maid at the Richton Estate who is the defendant. She was very well balanced and is always carrying a plate of food somewhere.

Jacques Swellow: Age 59, owner of the Richton Estate that died of ingesting cumin. He is very allergic to it.

Clink: Ok I know this chapter was bland but it was simply just a start to explain things. Don’t be upset please!
