They might do the Japanese thing by virtue of expectation with Maya as Kurain Master or I can actually see them running away and getting married quietly.

Heh, I thought it'd be hilarious if the Kurain elders didn't approve of Maya marrying Phoenix, so they'd take a bus out to Las Vegas and elope. They'd both wake up the next day hungover in a hotel room hottub with their clothes on, and there would be an ostrich walking around the bathroom. Oh, and their suitcases would be full of banana pudding cups for some reason.
...maybe I think too much about these kinds of things.

Actually, why don't we go for the total AU and pretend they are married in GS4. It's a secret, and Trucy is a good actor, so she was putting on an act to Apollo while Maya was temporarily away :) Impossible [if she is Kurain Master why is he languishing there in poverty?] but fun to speculate... The real destination of his 'secret mission'.
Somehow I can't see them doing the huge fancy European wedding. They aren't really the most 'romantic' couple. [Just the cutest hehe]
Yeah, Shiki, I'm bored too. I wonder why? Where will you look for your arts?

My parents got married twice, for example. Once at the registry office, and once in a church.
On topic: I think they would get married 'half and half.' Like, she wears the traditional wedding kimono thing, the actual wedding all Japanese-like. Then they would go to a hall and party. With burgers.

Well, it's one of those little things which can't be taken as shipping 'evidence', but can be taken as yet another sign by the writers that we're supposed to mentally associate 'Maya' and 'romance'. [And Maya's 'romance' with Phoenix, of course, the invention of Pearl made that clear.]
