The Daryan-bust? ;)

Yes. Next thing you know, your game becomes corrupted, the crazy demonic soul of Daryan (complete with bleeding eyes and slasher smile) haunts your mind continuously and the only thing you can do is go mad from fear and slowly begin to lose your sanity until you die of madness. And the only thing left behind as proof of your mental deterioration is the sudden appearance of an old Daryan-bust that rests in the corner of the room, housing the soul of the demonic Daryan, waiting for the next victim to play your corrupted game.

And this is why I couldn't fall asleep last night :3

Aouch, sorry. :sadshoe: That does explain why Daryan would give that as a gift to Apollo and be so keen on him looking at it, considering their interactions in the game...

The Adventures of Mr. Godot and Mr. Thief: Part seven

It's spring. The sun is shining, the sky is blue. There goes Simon on an asphalted lane surrounded by green grass. The camera slides over the surroundings - there's Dahlia, there's a stage with Simon standing on it (however he managed to move the opposite way of where he was going seconds ago) and there's an area of grass, where we find our main characters. We only see Ron, so we're presumably seeing from Godot's perspective - sitting down and looking at Ron. The view would lend itself nicely to a painting, with the light green grass serving as a blurry background, the focus being on Ron's face. He looks completely calm, and his head is slightly tilted.

~bathroom break~
(and time to reflect on the lingering question: what the hell was that about Simon on a stage?!)

Getting back, the scene has shifted to a corridor with rows of blue lockers against the walls. It looks excactly like the school I went to as a teenager. Apollo is somewhere in that corridor, but he's nowhere to be seen for now. Ron and Godot comes walking by, and Godot stops for a moment and asks Apollo to guard his (Godot's) locker while he's away. He's appearently not going to leave the building though, as he then continues walking with his arm around Ron, showing him the way, and takes to the left, where there's only a dead end except for some doors, so I guess they're heading towards one of these rooms.

So they leave and we go back to Apollo, who takes his guardin duty seriously - standing completely still right in front of Godot's locker with his arms crossed. I don't know how he saw it, considering he's got his back against the locker, and I don't know how we can see it since his body's covering it, but on the locker are spots of milk. Apollo is annoyed by that fact, thinking of "unfortunate implications", and that "if somebody walks by, I might just fly away". I hoped he wasn't serious about leaving if somebody came since that would make him a pretty shitty guard, but I did think that "Surely he means he'd 'touch' and teleport himself away, because I know damn well he can't fly", which was referring to a previous dream of mine where Apollo could teleport himself (requiring him to grab his crotch while doing it, it was implied).

What a curious episode! And here I was going to suggest that Simon did teleport to the stage? Perhaps he didn't want to be on the stage; the teleportation malfunctioned. Perhaps he had his hand a little too much to the right or something?

It would feel a little too unrealistic if Apollo both could teleport and fly.

What, so he walked away from the stage and then accidentally teleported back to it?

Yeah, that's just overdoing it. Besides, he was inside of a building - where would he go anyway? Up to the ceiling and just float there?

A malfunction! He never wanted to be on or even around the stage, not before, not now, but however he grabbed his crotch he couldn't teleport to another place!

Silly Apollo... Not only is he terrible at guarding lockers (or, well, he abandons his duties), but he actually has the nerve to float around by the ceiling like it was nothing... No, I'm glad they cut that.

The life of an underpaid detective with ungrateful superiors is very hard, ja? :klavier:

So! I'm not sure if this was a spin off of my Spanish mafia dream, or if my mind skipped over a detail and fast forwarded the plot, but I don't care! Anyway, Phoenix gets me off the hook for murder and instead incriminates a member of the mafia. Then somehow, that guy is murdered in the defendant lobby and now Phoenix is arrested and is being hunted down. I decided to repay him by defending him in court, which for some reason the court allows despite me having no license and no experience with law whatsoever, and I'm able to make the trial last another day. But Phoenix tries to convince me to keep the trial going because he knows the moment he is taken to the Detention Center, someone is going to kill him. This is where things get interesting. I try to contact my younger sister and ask her how she's doing, only to find out that she moved to Phoenix (lawl) Arizona by the Witness Protection Program, so I conspire with Athena and Apollo to break Phoenix out of jail and meet up with my sister there. I break into a patrol car and wait there while Apollo and Athena sneak into the Detention Center. Coincidentally, my older brother (who actually is a cop IRL) is Phoenix's guard, and for some reason he gives Apollo and Athena permission to dress up as cops and escort Phoenix to the patrol car. My brother decides to join us for the ride, and the last part of the dream was us driving to Arizona at three in the morning with Phoenix unconscious from stress, Athena and Apollo bickering over the quickest way to get there, my brother driving the car, and me messing around with my brother's taser.

*Sigh* another cliffhanger :( These dreams aren't easy to have.

Oh, ja, it is! :kristoph: I wonder why my last dreams have been of the trope "noodle incident", though, now with the detectives. They talk about a subject but I don't get to know what happened. But well, the underpaid detective-bonding was rather nice.

Ooh, that's interesting! It sounds, well, at least quite spin-off-ish? I'm glad you got to dream that! I guess the confetti worked! And; well! If it's another cliffhanger, your dreams just have to make another sequel and then there will be another long-runner! :edgey:

You should consider selling some of that stuff. It does wonders! I bet you could make a great living off it, though Trucy might demand 50% :sillytrucy:

I wonder how my family members would react if they found out about all the illegal shenanigans I've been dreaming about them doing...

This somehow seems funnier than it should be. I remember this video about a Google-translated version of the GS5 trailer, and at one point, the narrator brought up how Simon was being "exhibited" in court.

Anyway, I have not felt this awful in a long time. Usually colds come and go within a matter of a couple days, but this time, the symptoms seem to be getting worse, or at least not better. Plus, this medicine only seems to succeed in making me feel more tired.

But for some reason, that confetti really worked somehow. This time, I was in a news helicopter reporting on this amazing Ace Attorney parade float in some city, where every single case from the original trilogy were on display as floats. The commentators on the event were Phoenix, Maya, Edgeworth, and Gumshoe. They went on into detail about each case, and apparently it was left to Nick to point out any contradictions or inconsistencies or just places for improvement. Naturally, Maya always left him at the butt of any joke that followed. Edgeworth just stayed silent through the whole thing until the very end, where he expressed his disdain for the entire thing because

"There weren't enough fireworks at the end."

There's a brief moment of silence, and then everyone cracks up, including me and my crew. The crowds keep going wild as our news station cuts off for other news. Ah, happy ends.

The best thing about this, though, has to be how very possible a public promo event like this could happen in Japan. I dunno if any of those commentators would actually dress up as AA characters, but I think there's a good chance.

It was Google-Translate from Jap -> Korean -> Chinese -> English -> Jap or some combination of it. Nico Douga is weird.

Do I want to trust a brand name called "ColdKiller X"? Hmm...

I think it was supposed to be me playing some sort of new unreleased AAI game (GK3?), but somehow it turned into that instead. Better yet, what if I'm getting some sort of clairvoyance power out of that confetti!? Or maybe I'm still sleepy...

Bramimond That sounds like all kinds of awesome :edgey:

As for myself, I dreamed Simon asked Godot to give him... a band-aid I think. Then they kissed. It was like it was pretty much accidental, from both parts, but none of them really minded it. I could see Godot's thoughts and he thought something like "ehhwhoops!". Soo I guess my subconsciousness just made a failed yaoi fanfiction of Mr. Godot and the Twisted Mister xD

After that I saw Godot sitting on a couch in a room similar to Wright Anything Agency, the same room he was talking to Ron in in another dream. I think there were other people there as well but I could only see Godot. He was drumming on something - his lap, the edge of the sofa table or even an actual drum on the floor... yeah, I think it actually was a bongo drum. Either way, he seemed highly entertained by what he was doing.

Hahaha! That's lovely! I approve of the fact that your subconscious decided to make fanfiction of my my dream series - and since the kiss seemed accidental it sounds rather sweet! (Alright, the thought is sweet in itself, but I really hope it won't become canon, and if it does it just has to be completely "ehrm, what was this now"! :edgey: ) I do feel that the reaction was quite in character when it comes to my in-dream-lads. "Ehhwhoops." I think itt would be cool if Ron visited my dreams somewhen. :kristoph:

I had two dreams, I think I acidentally got a piece of confetti in my mouth, choking a little on it, during the first one because it was really scary - one of those dreams that are terrible when you dream them but doesn't sound that chilling when describing them.
In that dream I was Kristoph and I was on a trial where they were going to break my black psyche-locks. Everyone there seemed all... scary, like they wanted to cause me great harm. I don't remember what caused this to happen, but the psychelocks were removed by force and it was like I felt my soul rip apart, and the very last bit of what I had left of my sanity would unavoidable disappear. It was... guh!

So then my subconscious decided to be a little nicer to make up for it - both for me and for Kristoph. It was the new episode of The adventures of Mr. Godot and the Twisted Mister. Godot bumped into Simon and went; "Ahh, so you're back. Did you have fun playing 'Simon says' with Gavin?" Simon smiled, amused but a bit sarcastic and replied: "Well, by all means, but it was rather a case of 'Gavin gives, Simon succumbs' - although I do believe that the roles will be reversed next time." Godot chuckled and gave Simon's back a pat, like "good for you, my boy, good for you!"
Then Godot asked Simon to join him for coffee, or; "I'm not asking it, I'm demanding it - I need some company right now", laughing a little. Simon laughed too and said that he wouldn't mind some coffee, as long as Godot didn't try to make him drink too much of it because it did nothing for his insomnia.

Actually, I think those dreams of yours had that impact on my dream, so that it went in that direction. Ehhwhoops. Still, now my mind has -connected- Godot with Edgeworth, Ron and Simon (I mean, at least somewhat), and Klavier with Apollo and Matt Engarde... :meekins: Going for Miles: the involuntary shipper.

And I'm very sorry but that Kristoph dream sounded so cool. Not that I would want to dream it myself :kristoph:

Yes - I can't help but associate Godot with Simon and Ron either! (And well, Simon and Kristoph have had some fun in two of my dreams now...) It feels like a question of "when" and not "if" when it comes to Mr. Thief visiting my dreams!

Well - when you say it I guess the dream itself was quite cool, but it was terrible to dream it! I woke up all "guuhhh", shivering a bit before falling asleep again, I think it helped that I was Kristoph myself! :violin:

Now that you mention it, Simon and Ron may have been the ones Godot was hanging out with when he was sitting drumming. I can't guarantee it though, it's just a feeling I have.

One of us or both should dream a mash-up of them, kinda like PLvsAA. Like The Great Adventure of Mr. Godot, Mr. Thief and the Twisted Mister :redd:

Haha, oh! :godot:

We totally should! I mean, if we both can somehow dream about balls as well as Kristoph, Dahlia and poison during the same night it sounds like child's play that a mash-up would somehow happen! :b33r: I bet that if you dream it I will dream it like the next night or something, and the other way around! That would be of no surprise whatsoever.

I dreamed that somebody else had dreamed that after Celeste’s death Adrian had been found, in a non-fatal state but still harming herself, with a manic grin on her face. I found it scary.
And there was an alternative profile picture of Godot where he wasn’t wearing his visor, and by clicking it you could somehow see that he had short scars over the back of his shoulders and below the back of his neck, but I don’t know how he had gotten them.

Double post ahoy~

According to someone Fulbright was very concerned about the welfare of animals and would do anything it took (even killing the owner, it was vaguely implied) to rescue them from a destructive home. However he strictly believed in a hierarchy amongst animals, ”as in nature”, and ”when the animal-cuddling lovefest begins at the Wright Anything Agency” – meaning a bunch of different animals would be there and they’d all be cuddled with, played with and squeed over equally – Fulbright would burst into the office, waving his arms and shouting ”MOOVE OVEEER!”.

What an odd person.

I dreamed about sulking Kristoph - much like when I dreamed about him complaining about things like the food and air condicioning. He was in the shower in prison and whined about them "not making a person clean when he really needed to", they just "dribbled a little water over you" and because of that "the very air made him feel dirty". He pouted since he "desperately needed a shower" because even being in prison made his hair feel greasy but that there was "none to be found" (shower), even though he was standing in the middle of one. To be fair it didn't look to generous when it came to the flow of water, but still I think he could manage to get his hair clean. Conclusion: He was dirty - everyone was dirty - and he was "very far off from being a neat freak, so that means a lot". Seems like someone's getting (more) paranoid. :violin:

I think I'm playing a little too much Ghost Trick lately. :lana:

Anyway, I had a dream. I was in my living room, with Maya and Phoenix. There was a box in front of the table. It was plastered very greatly. I told them that I'm going to bring my phone. When I was gone, I could've sweared that I heard Maya and Nick arguing about opening the box. I have gone to my room, bring the phone, and entered the living room. What I saw next was truly horrible- I saw a Bomb in the desk, the plasters are here and there, and the most important thing- Maya's face has a few bruises. When I'm about to ask what happened, the Bomb started ticking and counted down to 10, and a familiar music started playing. I didn't remembered what happened next.

I'm almost hesitating to post this because it feels so ridiculous that I can't even nap without having these dreams. (Which isn't even true because it "only" happened a few times, but still - this is reaching new levels of silly, how frequent these are. But well, a long-ass sick leave makes me think too hard about a few things at a time and my subconscious follows.) I feel that this was a more interesting dream than the one that I dreamed tonight, though, so.

Apparently my mind is hung up on poison now (and apparently it's always arsenic), as well as people feeling bad. :grey: In this episode of The adventures of Mr. Godot and the Twisted Mister the former needed someone to talk to regarding that traumatic event, he said he'd only talked about it in great detail with the doctors. He gripped one of Simon's hands and asked him to give him a scratch if he got too uncomfortable with the story. They didn't face one another, they sat back to back; Godot needed a small barrier because this was so personal.
He talked about the poisoning itself in great detail and mentioned "that iron taste in my mouth" a few times, apparently finding it a bit silly that he even thought about that when it happened, compared to what other things the poison did to him. His voice was strained, but became extremely shaky (and he clutched Simon's hand to the point where both felt pain) when he came to the dissonance between being poisoned and wake up from it. The complete loss of control, as opposed to others being in control when it came to his body - helplessness in two flavours. Chaos as opposed to a disturbing calmness. The filth and foulness as opposed to the sterile cleanness. Here I think I became quite aware and my mind decided to carry on: closing his eyes and having the world disappear as opposed to open his eyes and see nothing. Fear and... fear. Convulsions as opposed to being unable to move.
