Mecha, I did just think out a really cool thing you might add later.

Imagen that a witness have given a testimony and you are being asked to point out one statement in it.
For example:
----
Witness:
I SAW THE DEFENDANT THAT NIGHT
HE WENT UP TO THE DOOR AND OPENED IT
ONCE INSIDE HE PUT ON HIS GLOVES...
... AND TOOK A KNIFE FROM THE KITCHEN.
THEN HE STABBED THE VICTIM COLD-BLOODED.

Judge:
Where is the so called contraction Mr. Wright?

Phoenix:
*points out the third statement*
OBJECTION! It's right here Your Honor. Why would the defendant take on his gloves after he enterd Wouldn't it be better if he took it on before he touched the door knobb?
-----
Well, you get the point, don't you? Perhaps this is just rubbish but, what do you think?
One day the Blue Badger shall rule the world. And I shall be his lojal minion.

Those generally go in presses. There's no actual contradictions since it's not actually contradicting evidence, it's just questioning the testimony.

Though a nifty feature would be being able to present old testimony. But that'd probably be pretty difficult to do.

Presenting old testimony could be like presenting the case file in AA Case 4. Just create a new evidence with the most important parts of the previous testimony, and ask the player to point out which page is the contradiction.

Where is the so called contraction Mr. Wright?

Selection:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5

Phoenix:

Is it possible to have choices right now? For example, in the First Turnabout, the Judge asks you to name the victim and the choices appear in the bottom screen.

Just wondering something, that just came to my mind. Will we be able to create more than one ending for a single case? For example, a good ending, and a bad ending? Game 2 Case 4 is a perfect example of this. Phoenix

Spoiler: Case 2-4
Present the wrong evidence at the final scene of the trial, to get a bad ending.
Present the right evidnce at the final scene of the trial, to get a good ending.

Yeah, that won't be hard.
Just make it like this:
If presenting evidence "(something)" then go to ActionList (something)
If presenting wrong evidence then go to ActionList (something other than the above)

Wooh

EDIT: Wrong evidence is anything else but what you said is presentable.

Don't worry about it, just close the window itself not the program. This is just to inform you if the version you get will cause problems with your case.

Wait, you mean everytime you close the popup, it reappears? This is due to your computer not allowing you to register anything in the Register Database (in Windows). It registeres whenever you already had the popup, and when it can't register it, it'll think you never had it.
This isn't a normal problem, but often caused on work or school computers that won't allow you to change important settings.

My advice: Either gain acess to the windows register files, or wait for the new version (since in the new version, it won't reopen even though no register files are saved).

Well, I know you are busy with making/updating your case maker, but I want to ask. If you don't want to release an update to the engine soon, can you at least show us a brief demonstration?
For example, like a demo case.exe only that includes all the new features in your current/updated case maker in the progress? Detective Gumshoe
I really liked how you showed them off before the first 2.0 release, and I'm eager to see more work from you. It doesn't have to be en entire case. It can be just some new things to show off like you did last time before. Phoenix

Otherwise, keep up the good work on your case maker engine. Phoenix

The case-maker itself is tiny in size. It's the resources that comes with it that is most of the size. So respectively you could have two separate files for it. One being the program itself (for those just looking to update) and then the resources (for those that want it)

I can actually see all the fixes here. Phoenix
Although it would've been nice for you to add Phoenix's badge and/or a profile to show that those things are now working. But I still love this thing! Phoenix

About the investigation. You know if you haven't visted an area yet, how there's a staticy animation in place of the background? Will we be able to do something like that?
Also, IIRC, there were some cases (PW1 Case 5 being one of them, IINM) that you could only go to a stage for a certain amount of time. Then that area gets disabled. Will we be able to make parts like this happen? Eh?

BTW, I noticed that the speed lines are limited in your first release. Do you plan to change that later? For example, if we decide to change it into a different animation/graphic completly, or change the color of it? Detective Gumshoe

Don't come crying about being slow.

Besides, no$gba can't remove layers. It simply hacks the DS original coding. If emulators can be illigal, no$gba is it. I refuse to use it.

While we're on topic of the case maker, I assume that we'll be able to create REAL case intros? I remember Shaun stating something like that was one of the easiest thigns for him to code, IIRC.

And how will we be able to handle game pausing? For example, when I start recording a video of my case, I want to be able to pause right before the first scene of animation, start recording, and unpause the game to cue the recording of a case.

I was thinking, maybe when you open up a new case.exe have a single logo title/name of the case first (on the top screen), and the user only has to press start or whatever to start the game. This would also help with recording a video of all of the case.

Well.... I suppose there's always the chance of utilitizing a 'save' feature for a case. Depending how long a fan case is, sometimes the PW games call for a mid-point save, or if you pause your game, you can save any time in the middle of a case.

What I might end up doing is, in my new cases, start the case with a single picture displaying the title/case name. That way when I go to record them as a video, I'll be sure to get every little detail recorded.
