I DON'T subscribe to Edgeworth being an asexual, however. I still see Edgeworth as asexual, but not because he's cold and distant. I see him as an asexual who happens to be cold and distant. I don't see his orientation as a product of abuse and trauma, even though he happened to endure abuse and trauma. Tons of people survive abuse and trauma, and abuse and trauma doesn't give a shit what your sexual orientation is. It just happens.

Anyway, I want to emphasize that not all people who choose to be virgins are asexuals. There are plenty of people out there who choose not to have sex for whatever reason, even though they identify as "gay" or "straight" or whatever. Furthermore, the people you see as "childish", "ugly", "wimpy" or "awkward" are not necessarily virgins.
Being that everyone in the cast of Ace Attorney is a fictional character, none of them are virgins because Rule 34 applies to all of them.
