That tongue thing he does makes me shudder. It looks a lot less disgusting as a smiley, but still, EW. And it could be my imagination but even his character sprite looks greasy, like it's oozing from his pores...GROSS. AGH.
Like, stop, like, hesitating all the time and get to the point! And, like, stop saying 'like' all the time. Ditzy girls here in the UK do it too and it's REALLY annoying.

To be fair to Payne, we've only seen him go up against the protagonist of the game

Then I got kinda mad at him when I realized what he did.
The only characters I really don't like are
& .The Bellboy because he's creepy and a perv and he makes me nervous. I THOUGHT HE WAS THE KILLER I SWEAR. I was actually pretty disappointed when it turned out that he wasn't. Usually I'm right about these things.
And Grey just because he's annoying. And I really don't care about the weather girl. Geez, give her a break, man.

Oh yeah I hated Gant and his interruptions. When I play the game I try to take in and focus on every little bit of testimony. Lana's last line of testimony kind of threw me for a loop. =/
