That could be scottish....I was under the impression he was canadian for some other reason that eludes me just now...
Well, he also likes to say "hoser" and "eh" a lot. (He calls Phoenix a hoser when he barges in on the Luke Atmey trial.)
Speaking of which, I've noticed Apollo says "eh" a lot too. Wonder if he's Canadian.

In addition to that, the pun in Luke Atmey's name didn't register with me at first. Also, I'm embarrassed to admit that it took me a few weeks to realize that Will Powers was also a pun.

I didn't get Luke Atmey until about a month ago.
Winston Payne. Seriously, I had played through AA about 3 times before I got the joke.
I didn't get Phoenix's name until I beat Rise From the Ashes the second time.
Cody Hackins didn't make sense to me until I read it on the Ace Attorney Wiki.
Atroquinine. I've taken Latin, yet I didn't see that one.
Godot as Diego Armando.
Color reversal in Godot.
How significant the Judge's "Olé" in (I think it's) 1-4 is, in retrospect.

However, all of the music references and such, I got instantly. For example in the Special Blend mix of Pursuit ~ Caught, Turnabout Sisters 2001 is in there toward the end.

I's fictional.. yet it could be possible to assemble something like a poison using this medicine. (or at least I think so)
And you know it's an analgetic(tampers with the nerve system).. and atroquinine is killing the nerve system... "Every substance is lethal.. it's only matter of dose" .. Quinine is lethal in 8-10 grams.. there's probably a long way to lower it to 0.002 grams (if there is any!

Atroquinine means Dark Quinine. The rest is explained in the other posts and/or wikipedia.
Ater | Atro | Atris | Atra | Atrum - Dark Aside from Macronized vowels, I think that's the declination.

I think Maya convinced him after 1-3 to set his ringtone to Steel Samurai, it was just a coincidence that Ema had it too. And 1-5 was chronologicaly before 2-1. I played everything in that order, so I pointed out my mistake.
