Yup. That's what I'm thinking. Phoenix

I don't think we need a dozen beeps, for slow, normal, and fast typing. We just need 2 beeps. One for male, one for female. Then let the action script/coding work the text typing & sound synchronization. Sal

For example, the typing sound should only be one beep short, like this.

BTW, will the testimoney starting sounds be limited, or will we be able to add/use our own testimoney sound effects? And will testimoney starting animations be limited too? Detective Gumshoe

Also, when the courtroom scrolls from defense to witness, or whatever (like your previous example), will we have the option to set a certain scroling speed, or only one speed for this? Because I noticed that in the real games, it actually starts slow, but increases speed, and then dereases speed once it's done scrolling around the courtoom. Eh?

Looking forward to creating new cases in the next release/update of trial maker. Phoenix

Sure. No problem! Anything to help out! Phoenix

Also, about sound recording, it may vary on the recording program you're using. SnagIt (usually) has a little microphone button that lets you record the audio. I would think most recording programs would have an option that lets you record audio. Detective Gumshoe

If not, then I'm sure you can go into your volume controls, and switch to record volume settings, and put a checkmark on Wave Out Mix (assuming you're using windows, which is what I'm going by). Phoenix

When I try the bottom suggestion it comes out so loud your ears bleed. I didn't see any microphone button in SnagIt 8.23 but I'll look again..

p.s the case im producing as a teaser for you guys will also feature as Tutorial as it will be covering everything in the case maker, at least as much as I can as well as I can, so that people can hopefully quickly pick up on how it will work from looking through the actionlists. P.S it will be a fully completable case in the end, so if you want to play it before you examine it. you're welcome to Larry

The simple way to ressolve this, is to decrease the little horizontal bar downward so that it won't be quite so loud in your ears. Keep pulling it down until you get the right volume to your needs. Phoenix

It's mostly that but it's also going to be a sort of case that comes with the casemaker so people can see just what the case-maker is capable of. I won't be releasing any EXEs or video footage without your permission however. So sorry guys, no sneaky-peekies.

And DDRKhat, what program are you using to edit the mp3 files? I may end up just doing them myself.

Working on a way to get the CPU usage down.
Even though it doesn't seem like much right now, having a bigger code may make it lag. After this fix, such problems won't exist Odoroki

Alright, I've tried using WavePad and I've made a couple songs loopable. However, the 4Musics converter isn't letting me change them to .ogg, saying that my 15-day trial's over. Any way to bypass that? I tried reinstalling it but I guess it recognizes my IP address.

And DDR, what format and attribute are you supposed to save them as? There's so many of them.

Well, besides that. I think the only things missing from your current case/trial maker are those, and Psyche Locks (since you stated earlier that you made the cross-examination feature). Hmm........ (Unless you count full background checking during investigation). Think

But are Psyche Locks REALLY neccessary to program in fan cases? I mean, in terms of storyline.
Spoiler: Magatama Users
The only ones who could use (or had) a Magatama was the Fey family (Mia, Maya, Pearl, etc) and Phoenix (after recieving one in GS2/PW-JFA).

So in order for Psyche Locks to work correctly for fan cases, one would need to apply a Magatama in their evidence inventory.

No, it does not run by IP address. It inserts a piece of information into the windows registery. so if you somehow knew what one it was and deleted it, you'd have a brand new program.

But we're talking about something that names itself "3211A1549CFAD1185A1D9C0B11A684A2A86C38E2" for example. so its neigh impossible to find it and delete it.

Sounds great :D

Btw Mecha, something I have been thinking on. When the next version is out, will the Database map include more sprites and exspecially background music than what 2.0 did? In my case (get it? Case *rofl*), I would appresiate animations with the right size with Pearl Fey and Mia Fey in Pearl's body.

I don't suppose you'd mean like the animations on this page, Mog Mage? http://deufeufeu.free.fr/anims/animpw1.html

the link that was pasted on page 2? as for background music, yes. I have done almost half the songs from PW:AA now and I keep doing them during thinking moments doing the case. So the collection of PW:AA tunes should be available upon the new case maker release.

Well I'll burst one of your bubbles and mention that cross-examination is still in the works, it's only approximately half complete from what I've seen. and I promise, the wait will be worth it. You also have to remember I have a personal life. Friday 6:30pm -> Sunday 10:00am I claim for my personal life where I do my clubs and other social things. So once everything settles Sunday I'll be back to working on the case after I get a issue fixed which is preventing me from progressing currently.

I guarentee 100% that it will release Sunday even if I don't have it as finished as I'd like, I'll get it to a suitable finishing point.

Yeah my gifs were messed up after using Imageready too. What i did was change the disposal method of each frame to "Restore to background" (right-click on the bouncing-ball like icons in the frame window). I don't think it has anything to do with the optimisation.

Well that would fix the issue as typically a GIF creation program simply cuts corners and only changes little parts like if a mouth is moving, it'll use the main part as a base and cut out the parts that change in the frames.

Setting the background to resolve via background means the GIF program cannot do that. thus fixing this issue. If all else fails try to get a copy of GraphicsGale. Or if you want you can do what someone else already does and get in contact with me and I'll convert your animations for you. Just make sure that whatever colours you DON'T want to appear in the animation to be a colour not used in the palette. for example a bright green (R:0 G:255 B:0)

That makes so much sense, considering it's the rest of the body that dissapears in the case maker, but not the eyes and mouth. I shall try that straight away!
