Well, let's see *flashback sound effects* It all started... around last September, I think. I was chatting with a friend of mine on AIM and she starts talking about some Lawyer game she's stuck on. Truthfully, at the moment I could care less. In fact, when she said the name was Phoenix Wright, I (for some strange reason) immediately assumed that the main character was part animal. I was like, "Oh man, a lawyer who's half fox dealing with stolen jewels and putting the criminal behind bars? No thank you." (YES, I thought he was part fox although his name was Phoenix... I think I was looking at something about Starfox or something at the time XD)
So then I went over to her house some weeks later and tried out the first case and I liked it. I didn't LOVE it or anything, but it was much better than I expected (and I thought that all the cases would be as short as the first one... boy was I wrong).
Then in October, my birthday came up and she got me the first game for DS. The next day was no school (lots o' fires came up and we evacuated from our house). The only thing I could do all day was play Phoenix Wright (I could only get one game out of the car).... and I was hooked.

My friend admitted to me that when I first showed it to him he didn't feel too interested. Most people who I've gotten to try the game end up playing through the whole thing.

I heard about it when the DS came out, all I knew was that it was a lawyer game and I was already excited. I was thinking, "what a cool idea!" and crap like that. I saw it in stores, but I never managed to get it until last year when Gamestop (a branch of game stores) had this special summer sale it had where games were half off. And it was there in stock. So I got it since it was so hard to find and I pre-ordered the 3rd game while buying it since I was so convinced it was an epic game.

I know about it because I keep reading people saying Objection! every time, and when my friend recommended PW:AA I said, "Huh? Never heard about it." Then he said it's what made people shout Objection, so I decided to try it. Then I got addicted and felt like shouting Objection everyday! 8DDDD then I played all four games in around two weeks. If only I didn't have to go to college, I'd probably finish it faster. Then I rant about it everyday and got my best friends curious because I was so hyper about it XD Now they're as addicted as I am! Ha!

Though, since we had to wait for more games, we had to reduce our addiction. T_T We can't waaaaait!

At first, when I saw an article of it in a magazine, I thought, "What a strange idea for a game."

Then, I saw the name on Gamefaqs, and read the reviews. Then I thought, "Looks like it's worth a try, I guess."

And now I'm hooked. :)

I was composing a christmas list so I went through the "recommend some video games to me" threads at a crazy forum I go to. Well, Phoenix Wright was mentioned a LOT in said threads, so I looked it up on Wikipedia, and added it to my christmas list since I had few other ideas for a game to ask for. When Christmas came, I got Starfox Command, Sonic Rush, and Phoenix Wright. I spent most of my time playing the other 2, but I picked up PW when I was bored and eventually played through the first 2 cases.

Fast foward about 3 months.

I was at school bored, with all my DS games in my pocket. Some chick next to me asks "wat games ya got?" and I brought out all the ones I have [which happened to be at the time, those three games plus pokémon d/p] and she pointed to PW and wondered what it is. So I got it out and played it a little, and she giggled at it and we started dicking around. So I kept playing it through the day and eventually got close to beating it.

Though, I didn't really get into the game until I showed it to my two friends in one of my classes, and we started reading the text aloud in strange voices for each character. XD Now it's mah numbah wun fandom. :D

Anyway, when one of my friends first told me about Phoenix Wright, I wasn't sure what to think! I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of playing a lawyer, but at the same time I've always thought my friend has brilliant taste in games, so she persuaded me to have a go of her copy. I quickly fell for it though, especially since she showed me the Phoenix Wrong videos before any of the games, which had me hooked straight away! :P

I got it for Christmas and I thought, "Weird." The first cover I saw was TaT, and I thought, "Godot looks really stupid." I had to give it back, but I wanted to buy it myself. When I played 3-1 a few weeks later (my first case), I thought, "OMG THIS GAME IS SO FREAKING FUN!" Then I saw the PW:AA cover (before I finished 3-1) and I thought "Who is that weird girl wearing purple she looks weird?"

I actually heard about it from my brother who is a gamer freak and buys everything. He knows what type of games I like and he lent it to me after I got my own DS. That was almost three years ago and I have never looked back XDDD I actually remember when there were 40 people on the GS comm at LJ and when we had no fanfiction :P

O man, when I first heard of PW I convined myself I wasn't going to buy a ds.
It had just come out at the time, and I didn't wanna go with the crowd XD
Eventually when I got a ds, because of pokemon or whatever, I remembered that stupid game.
I went to gamestop one day to preorder pokemon d/p
While I was there, I was like, well I got a gift card, might as well ask for games.
After looking through a bunch of games I convined myself that they didn't have anything I wanted.
Right before I left I asked the guy at the counter about that one lawyer game, Phornix Wright or something.
He said they didn't have it, and it was super hard to find. He also added that it was really great.

I forgot about the game for a while. About a year and a half XD
Then one day when I played my fill of ds games, I was like, "hmm what else to play?"
I remembered I wanted to try the lawyer game, and I bought all 3 online.
When AA came, I remember first playing it.
