Ini :( That case really made me consider whether her actions were justified or not. I really feel bad for her, but alas, she took the life of another. I seriously was tearing up at that part XD
And of course, like everyone else, Godot D:

Why so much sympathy for Ini?
Spoiler: Case 2-2
I thought she HAD actually accidentally killed those people at her workplace getting Grey a bad reputation, to some degree I can understand why he was mad. Him wanting to bring back her ghost to clear his name may be far-fetched but definitely not kill-worthy.

Of course 2-2 was so long ago my memory of the facts may be fuzzy.

True but she was incompetent enough to kill several people at her workplace. The identity thing SHE wanted, she chose to look like that, presumably to escape the stress of her own life, and part of the reason for killing Grey was to protect that identity.

If anything Mimi Mini is one of the pettiest crooks out there.

Gant, and Diego. But Gant was actually really shocking.I thought he was a nice old man. I didn't realise he was the bad guy until it clicked at the locker scene. 7777777 was the first number I tried, and when it worked I was pretty shocked. I thought he was so nice. :(

And Kristoph, just becourse I love him as a villain. I don't really want him to be not-guilty, I just don't want him to be in prison, so he can play a role in GS5 as well! =D

Acro, because he's the only one of these characters who didn't know full well what he was doing. Even Godot. Acro, on the other hand, was clinically depressed and kind of crazy. He isn't fully responsible for his actions. I hope he got off on an insanity plea.

Armstrong: I know he wasn't guilty, but he was involved. It was only becuase of debt,s too.

A certain part of me feels sorry for Joe Darke. Yes, he went on a killing spree, but it was only because of that car accident. Really, he would have been a nice guy.

Joe Darke obviously had some mental issues. Seeing how he killed people because they witnessed him accidently hitting someone with a car.

I somewhat feel sorry for Altia. Pal Meraktis tried to kill her. I can't fell sorry for her or Meraktis that they were scared by the Kitaki's since they chose to get involved with them in the first place.

I don't really feel sorry for Mimi. While Grey should get some blame for the mix-up for being a poor boss, Mimi was responsible for her sister's death. Because she wouldn't let her sister drive her car or used a taxi/bus.

How would YOU feel if you accidently killed over a dozen people and your own sibling, and had your face burned off, all within a two-week period?

That sounds like pretty much the worst month ever to me.

And Godot was incompetant enough to get poisoned, yet everyone cries buckets of tears for him. :yuusaku:

I'd feel bad sure but for good reason and she was incompetent enough to kill people at her job by accident.

Godot's poisoning was intentional and completely not his fault.

Mimi was entirely to blame.
She kills many, has an INCREDIBLY bad month then goes on to kill the other person that suffered most as a result of her incompetence.

Godot and Acro.

Acro...was just a nice guy who was pushed too far (granted he should have probably had thicker skin considering how innocent and naive his intended victim was but still).

Godot...well, I think everyone else has said it best to this point.

Damon Gant started out likable but when I found out how horrible he was in reality I was satisfied I had found out the right guy. I always say 1-5 is the few times in the series where I actually felt I did some good in the world by shutting him down. He hurt so many lives and caused so much damage that when I found out the truth, I wanted nothing less than to win.

Matt Engarde. He was pretty cool. But actually, now that I think about it, I started to like him even more after I found out he was guilty.
I guess I can say Kristoph because he is my absolute favorite character, but like Matt I think I liked him even more after. I just feel really bad for Klavier.

But I guess Phoenix (in a sense) and Acro. I knew from the start that it was the Acrobat that did the murder, but once I found out about Acro I was like nooo. ):

:godot:, like 98% of the population. Though it's an absolutely beautiful case and I love it, I wish Godot had not thought any of that was a good idea. But then again, if he were perfectly composed mentally, I wouldn't ever write him, now would I...
:devasque: She's a cool character--and it was accidental, after all.

Spoiler: AAI Cases 4 and 5
Calisto Yew gosh darn it. Mostly because I really, really wanted to ship her with Edgeworth, though, so take that with an absurdly large grain of salt.

On the other hand... very much NOT Acro for me. The fact that 2-3 irritates me to no end may have something to do with it, but he was very clearly TRYING to murder someone. Am I supposed to feel sorry for him because he whacked the wrong person? I don't.

I wish Tyrell Badd didn't have to go to jail. Yeah, he stole documents and threathen Edgeworth, and was one third of the Yataragasu, but if he didn't steal the stuff, Alba would send someone else to steal it and he would have gotten away. Plus he saved Kay from getting killed. He is way more of a hero than Godot was. Yeah, they both stopped the killer and gotten revenge, but Badd did it without killing an innocent person. Though Agent Lang got shot, it was Lang who choose to take the bullet, at least Lang still lived.

Calisto Yew. I fell in love with her when she was introduced and when I got around to finally figuring out that she was the culprit, I just really didn't want to have to prove her guilty. She the only person with the gall to laugh in Edgeworth's face and even when she's cornered with no way out, she's laughing all the way.

Bonus points for the scale earrings and the badass theme song name of "Let Me Laugh At The Cool".
