Don't forget that the original GS was published in 2001, nine years before the statue of limitations was changed in Japan (and eight before they actually started talking about it, so it would be kinda hard to predict that change). I think they'll keep the statue of limitations as is in the GS universe unless their story really needs it to be changed.

That's a bit hard to believe, considering AJ is basically one "Pro Jury System" game. Yeah they were kinda forced to give that message, but it still worked. And even so, like I said, far as I know, America doesn't have a statute of limitations on murder, either. So having it just confuses people more where it's supposed to take place.

The typical rule of AA for me is that if they have a voiced interjection, they're going to be the killer at some point, with the exception of a few Prosecutors, just so you can have an Objection! battle. So, I guessed Lang. I'm not a smart man. But hey, the game was making it fishy that he was there)[/spoiler]

Yeah, I was there too. Well, I'm not sure I suspected him of murder, but I sure as hell suspected him of the kidnapping.

Actually, the only murders in the series which have the statute of limitations mentioned are cases that can be considered manslaughter, which DOES have a statute of limitations

Oddly enough I've managed to not predict as much as I maybe should. I guess I just went into most of the games with a clouded mind, deciding to just let the game take me wherever instead of me thinking hard of who it might be. Heck, I didn't even suspect the killer in 5-3, and in hindsight it's really obvious!

Though if I remember correctly, I did correctly predict that
Spoiler:
Gavin
was the villain of at least 4-1 pretty much the moment I saw him.

That's kinda what I love about this series, it throws all kinds of twists at you that might in hindsight seem obvious, but that you had no idea while playing it.

April may was way too rood and defensive not to suspect.(even before I found her dildo wiretap)
:psycho-matt: was obvious, they made such a big of deal out of "testing" him I knew he had a loophole.
:damon: Only villains are so subtly creepy
:grossberg: I had the feeling he had made a mistake in the past (because I knew his theme was "Age, Regret, Reward")

After mentioning coming back from the depths of hell to do battle with Phoenix, I theorized that Godot was dead and that he was being spirit channeled.

In 2-4,I knew there was something suspicious about Engarde when he accepted you defending him after bringing up De killer, though I didn't guess he was the culprit.

Spoiler: DD
Before the game was evwn translated in english, the moment I saw fullbright I joked about him being that villain. :udgey:

Spoiler: GK2
-I thought Ou was going to be a villain. In a sense,I was kinda right.

Case 1-3:
Spoiler:
Throughout all the time Mia took over, I was just dying to say that the murder took place at the other studio. Since it was noted that there wasn't any blood there and there was time between when the head moved and when the body was found

Case 2-2:
Spoiler:
Since the revelation of the second photo, it's known that the person in the pic wasn't Maya channeling a spirit. But the facial features shown wasn't known to be of anyone's around the crime scene. Except I noticed that Ini kept her eyes closed leaving her as a possibility so my money was on her and well, I was right... mostly.

In T&T, the case where you played as Mia defending pink university Phoenix, when that loser ate the necklace, I just waiting for the part where he says "I actually lied about eating the necklace, to draw out the truth from you Dolly! :nixiemad:"

Because no human being could be THAT gullible, and that naive, and THAT stupid to EAT A NECKLACE, and one that once held poison, right? RIGHT???

...needless to say my prediction was wrong... :nick:

ooooh Phoenix, Phoenix, Phoenix...

Oh, that would actually make a lot of sense and be a nice nod to the present-day Phoenix' antics.

I distinctly remember my friend playing DD after I finished it and while playing through Case 2 he said:

Spoiler: That's what he said
"Wouldn't it be cool if Capcom decided to make a detective the villain?"

and somehow I was able to keep a straight face while replying: "Yeah, that WOULD be cool..."

He freaked when he found out he was right.

I predicted that Godot was Damon Gant, who had managed to break out of prison, change his appearance, and wear a mask to get revenge on Wright.
