I fail to see how Shelly de Killer was funny. He was not funny; the RADIO was funny. Of course, the funniest has to be
. She makes the most bizarre comments and comes up with the funniest questions. Of course, she's only that funny when around Phoenix. The funniest character on their own has to be

His Sarcastic comments can be funny, though good job he isn't always like that or it would overdo it and ruin his character.I used to think
but she kinda over does it in JFA and gets kinda annnoying 
Is awesomely fun in PW1 and some of JFA, but what the hells wrong with him in Case 3? He seems so angry >.<

Hotti and Moe weren't funny in general IMO (okay, maybe Hotti was >> <<) but OH GOD THE LOTR REFERENCE AND MOE'S PI QUOTE JUST MADE ME LOSE IT.
Also, in addition to the characters in my previous post, there's Larry, Yanni (<3), Gant, the Judge, Ema, Meekins (I OFTEN FALL OUT AND ROLL GREAT DISTANCES WHEN I OPEN MY CAR DOOR, SIR), Oldbag, and Wellington.
Pretty much everyone has their hilarious moments, really.

The funniest characters go in order, lol
He's brightens everything up with his bad jokes and laugh. She always messes with Phoenix. It's just so funny. 
He's always hilarious to be around. 
The part with him and Don Tigre is funny 
only cause her excessive use of the word fool, lol
Trilo is funny. Especially when giving testimony She's only hilarious cause of her crush on Edgeworth

Because it's fun watching him being tormented by other characters throughout the games with his mating calls and weird noises. She made investigating murders a little brighter, it was nice to have that. For the same reason, and he's like a giant teddy bear. the game goofball and has interesting choice of phrases during his testimonies. his sarcasm and inner judgement is quite entertaining to read.

His snarkyness as an NPC and as the Lead are both hilarious. He's also sarcastic, but not as open with it, so he gets points deducted. Hence why I prefer this one.

#2 is Apollo. As opposed to Phoenix, he expresses his angry/jaded sarcasm more openly, which makes dialog a lot funnier to read. Also, while feeling somewhat bad for him, I find it very funny how he is abused by everyone.
#3 has to be Phoenix. The hidden sarcasm he possess is priceless, especially during AA (when he's still not all that familiar with Maya) and T&T (in which the sarcasm meter hit agressive levels such as wanting to beat up Ron DeLite). Hobohodo, while silly and somewhat teasing, isn't as funny.
#4 goes to Gumshoe. When he's clueless, he asks stupid questions and make idiotic assumptions, which already make him funny. But when he gets mad and/or worked up, he's at his best.
And last, #5: Larry. As annoying as he is, he goes through some unique stuff and behaves in such ways that are deserving of laughter.
