I think the existence a Phoenix Wright anime would probably snap my fragile sanity. Although I must admit it'd be awesome to see my older siblings give me the "WTF?" look as I watch the show and yell out all the "Objection!"s and "Take that!"s.

A PW anime would be good, but your episode plan isn't great.
There's no way they'd make an anime that big for Phoenix Wright.

I'm thinking no fillers, it'd bring it down to around 20-30 eps. I can't see it being any more than that. I don't even see how they'll drag one case for anymore than 3 eps. Phoenix's first case would be one ep at best. Turnabout Sisters might make 2 eps. Turnabout Samurai would make 2-3 eps. Turnabout Goodbyes would make around 3 eps. Rise From The Ashes might make 4.

I don't really think the possibility of PW being an anime is big. I compared it to Kingdom Hearts, a very popular game, has the manga but no anime? I don't know about CAPCOM, though. Will they make a PW anime like how they did to Megaman? I hope so.

I WANNA SEE EDGEY!! EDGEY!! *drools*

I'd like a PW anime! But at the same time, I think it should be kept short. Drag it out for too long and it will decrease in quality of story.

No fillers? I actually think that fillers could be good as long as they don't have episode after episode on the same filler. Like comic relief fillers where Phoenix can go off on something stupid like "Who ate my sandwhich!?" and figures it out by the end of the episode XD.

And as far as breaking up the cases into episodes, I say each witness on the stand would have one episode each and investigations could be broken into about 2 episodes.

I would, like, tape that and stare at chibi Edgey and drool. Then replay it over and over. And then repeat that cycle a million times. o___o;

I actually wished for a PW anime when I blew out the candles on my birthday cake this year! ^^ So we've got the power of a fandom, a popular game, AND a birthday wish. xP

Seriously, I would LOVE to see case 4 of AA in anime form. Edgey angst to the max! And if it was an anime I could make PW AMVS on youtube. And it would get more popular. And we'd get good voice acting like in those TGS commercials. ^^

I could picture Rise from the Ashes as a movie.

And as long as the fillers don't go on like they did with Naruto, i'll be OK.
Seriously. The Naruto filler was like a really annoying guest. You keep hinting that you want them to go away, BUT THEY KEEP FRIGGIN COMMING BACK AND OVERSTAY THEIR WELCOME. -deep breath-
But unlike Naruto, the PW fillers might work because it would be cool to see a new mystery, as long as it's not stupid.

On the topic of "fillers" I think that if they made a show closer to something like Boston Legal where they have one or more larger-scale trials going on and then have a bunch of one-offs that are resolved by the end of the episode, along with each characters' arcs, that it would be really good.

What I would HATE to see would be something more akin to a typical 25-minute anime where every episode ends on some kind of cliff-hanger, that would get really old, REALLY fast.

Of course, for my idea to be any kind of decent, they'd probably have to use more lawyers and prosecutors than Phoenix and Edgeworth. Of course, I really wouldn't mind it if every episode wasn't set entirely in a court room in some way. Flashbacks would be fun.

They hardly ever make anime episodes longer than 30 minutes. And you couldn't fit 2 Investigation or court phases into one episode. Thats why I think that they should do one phase per episode. If they do make it an hour long then it's possible to fit 2 phases into it, and an OVA could have the entire case on it. But 30 minute episodes are more likely.

Edit: To explain further:

'The First Turnabout' just has one court phase. It would be the first episode.
'Turnabout sisters' has 2 investiagtion phases and 2 Court Phases. That would make four episodes. Since all of the phases have a cliffhanger in them anyway, it would work well.

2 hours to tell all the cases really wouldn't work. And the amount of complaints they'd get would sink CFTF's idea I think.

Oh come on. I'D watch an anime about Franzy and Adrian's happy drama sunshine angsty marriage.

Hmm, as far as the lengths go, some of the investigation periods could conceivably take up half an episode...As could some of the court periods. I mean, if it's an anime you can erase the time spent fumbling around, examining random posters in your office, and pressing the witness on every single little detail...multiple times.

I don't think I like the idea of fillers of any type. A Phoenix Wright anime is pushing it a bit as it is...a drawn-out anime is far too much to ask for. A short series with maybe thirteen episodes for the first four cases, a movie of Rise for the Ashes, and OVAs of flashbacks or jokes or what have you would be a dream. Probably an unreasonable dream, but >> I CAN DREAM WRIGHT?

Anyway, any of the above listed would make me happy personally.

And now I repeat my longing for an OVA of Edgey and Franzy growing up. IT WOULD TOTALLY BE ADORABLE LOL.

thats a good idea for a filler but how about its in the second series, and its when he is a kid?

What about a theme tune?

I'd say I was up for voice acting but, I dont know how... Larry
But yeah I think that a PW anime would rock

I think there should be a whole episode deticated to the classroom trial. And they could add stuff to fit the half-hour timeline. Actually, i think that that episode should be based entirely on this fanfic. (It's called Promises. If you wrote it, marry me. It's, like, the best thing ever.) Flashback episodes rock.

Hey, they could have it like in FMA where they have most episodes focused on the plot and in have a couple of episodes that mash all of the jokes and side-stories together. Like, an episode or OVA of Maya's random comments during investigations...or...something...

Anyway, an anime would be pretty cool...Like those TGS trailers but with different camera angles.

YES! DL-6, the classroom trial, and SL-9 must be shown!

Why have filler episodes when Phoenix's trilogy is already over?

If there was a Phoenix Wright anime, KyoAni or Bones should animated it.

Actually, I would like to see that episode with Franziska instead seeing as she whips Phoenix for saying he's never even had a permit. XD

Because I would like to think it would be a nice change of pace to be able see a bit of Phoenix when he's not working and seeing as his trilogy is already complete they can make sure that they don't make anime episodes that contradict the game.

I've thought about the idea of Phoenix Wright becoming an anime.

My opinion on this?
Well...maybe.

It'd probably be something like Detective Conan (Case Closed), but instead of Shinichi and Ran figuring out the answer to the mysteries, it'd be Phoenix and Maya. Except Phoenix would take the evidence he found and point out the true culprit in court.

Hey, it could happen one day. Capcom released Street Fighter anime during the 80s. And they were awesome.

As for the Phoenix Wright trilogy, who's to say Capcom arent going to make more one day? =)
