:uramidn: - Absol. Or any other kind of mysterious, dark pokemon.
:haha: - Staraptor! Or Staraptor could also be applied to :wellington:
:payne: - Magikarp. Except he never evolves into a powerful Gyarados.
Image - This makes me think of Moe as that "Lanturn" pokemon.

Actually, I can see Viola as a Snaeasel/Weavile. They're dark/ice type (evil with a cold personality), they keep to themselves and are pretty sneaky little bastards. Yet oddly pretty.

:phoenix: - Lucario. I think there was a thread a while back where someone sprite-edited a Phoenix Lucario. Plus, their colours match (black and blue). And I find the mental image of young Feenie carrying around a Riolu (baby Lucario) which also has a cold both cute and hilarious.

:edgeworth: - Ninetales. It has the neck ruff, and it's a fire type which Lucario (Steel/Fighting) is weak against.

:will: - Eevee. Brown, fuzzy, and cute enough to represent his true nature. He probably wouldn't evolve it because he probably wouldn't battle with it, he has to fight enough when he's on set.

:zenitora: - Skitty. X3 Because it's a cat and goes with his pink scooter.

:yuusaku: and :mareka: - Gardevoir and Gallade respectively. XD Ron might also have a Roserade.

:matt: and :juan: - Zangoose and Seviper respectively. The two pokemon are natural enemies, plus Zangoose has the scars.

:flowsers: - Gloom. Smelly flowery grass pokemon. He'd probably use its nectar in his perfume oils.

:tea: - Froslass. Ghost/Ice type that looks like it's wearing a kimono, and can only be female (a lot like mediums in the Fey family).

:phoenix: Moltres, since it looks like a phoenix
:that-b-word: Vileplume, since it is beautiful on the outside, but releases posions
:sal: Muk, because of the slime
:igarashi: Cacnea, because they can use bullet seed and are very prickly (like his personality)
:adrian: Bonsly, for some reason it just comes to mind
:pearl: Mew, because they're both so adorable
:zenitora: Typlosion, because of the fire and they are known for sudden outbursts of rage
:shoe: Skitty, of course
:flowsers: Roserade, because of the petals (I think...)
:knock-knock: Slobro, for some reason, her hat and its shell look the same if you change the direction of the hat and she's very slow to catch onto things
:uramidn: Umbreon or Murkrow
:keiko: Porygon, do I need to say more?
:whip: Ivysaur, because of the whip and the flower (because she's a female, of course)
:maggy: Arcanine, simply because it's a police Pokemon
:sadshoe: Growlithe, because it's a police Pokemon and they're both painfully adorable when sad

This one is certainly spot on. <3 *Lufffles upon Mewtwo von Karma that Super Judge Bro. made for me.*

But yes.... Damon Gant, any wolfish Pokemon, Probably some unholy mix between Arcanine and Mightyena, and Darkrai, because:

Spoiler:
we all know Gant is a truly evil Sociopath.

Although, I'll be honest, that contradicts my views of Darkrai being really really misunderstood, since he comes off to me as someone loving, but cannot get past his own curse of nightmares and has turned to distance himself and distance has made him hate others.
Then again, there's my madness ranting for the day....

I've noticed, a lot of people like to mix PW and Pokemon, any ideas why?

Y'know, I wouldn't be surprised.

Pearl wins the battle there. But if we're talking a cute battle between Pearl and Mewtwo, Mewtwo wins hands down. *Snuggles teh luffable evil*

But yes, I suppose that makes sense. A cuteness war. XD

Lets see...

:phoenix: - You could argue him a Pikachu. Mostly for the fact he is the main character, and seems to always get attention... Okay thats not true, they ignore him rather alot. xD
Ho-oh for him would be the basic 'Phoenix Pokemon' reference.

:damon: - Some people argue him as Zapdos because of the Thor references. But Arcanine seems to fit him perfectly.
Big dog Pokemon - Gant's a rather large man.
Has a rather lot of extra mane/fur/hair. - Gant has a lot of spiky extra hair, the way it goes around his face, a mane even?
I believe the anime once mentioned Arcanine's to be slightly cunning and powerful... We all see that in Gant.
Grown up Growlith, Growlith are police dog Pokemon, it makes sense since Damon is the chief of police.

Hm... doing this without including legendaries...

:phoenix: -- Jolteon (Mainly due to the spikes)
:edgeworth: -- Scyther (Well, isn't his Japanese name a play on the whole sword thing? I also think a Scyther fits his personality well)
:maya: -- Mr. Mime (Psychic and goofy =D)
:pearl: -- Abra (Small and just learning her potential as a psychic, but will grow up to be one of the most powerful out there)
:karma: -- Gyrados (Scary and destructive, but still beatable)
:franny: -- Ivysaur (The whipping thing of course. Plus, Ivysaur is the middle evolution. Franny's not a child so she can't be a Bulbasaur, and she still has room for growth, so she can't be a Venusaur)
:udgy: -- Munchlax (Tee hee... it seems to fit well)
:godot: -- Growlithe (I'm not sure why, but it's the first one that popped into my head)
Mia -- Mismagius (Ghost type 'cause she's dead... and Mismagius is a very graceful looking ghost. Mia's a rather graceful character, don't you think? I also think Gengar fits her well)
=D

Once there was this thread on GameFAQs about what Pokemon MOVES each PW char would have. It was fascinating.

I think Dandee would be a Mightyena and Himeko a Gardevoir or Delecatty...which means Sara would be Ralts/Skitty XD
