Neither am I, so quadruple hmpf. :kudo:

Ehm, headcanons, was it? I'm actually starting to get more and more drawn to the idea that Klavier is of latin american heritage (at least partly) and that his tan is not fake, but his hair colour is.

I've had this headcanon since middle school: Apollo, Lana (who Ema lives with) and eventually Athena are all apartment neighbors.

For a moment, I read that as "his hair is fake". So it's actually a wig!? *gasp*

But then you'd have to wonder if he really dyed his hair, or did his brother also dye it? Or maybe they just have parents of different ethnicities.

I've always wondered just how closely everyone in this city seems to live. In fact, I'd say Maya and Pearl are the ones who lives the farthest from everyone else because they're outside the city. They seem to be the only people that come together to meet on a regular basis or something, so I wouldn't think they'd live too far apart.

That said, this is supposed to be a rather populous city like LA, so why does it seem so small, yet so expansive?

Only part of it. The Gavins get to wear that hairstyle as adults as a symbol of growing up, and it's a clip-in braid. Compare his hair as a 17-year old to how it looks now - it's pretty much the same except for the braid.

Probably because you only have to press a button to move from place to place?

While I'm remembering my middle school headcanons, I had one that the characters occasionally meet at this one tiny yet popular cafe in their free time to get a break from their lawyer lives. This may or may not have been inspired by watching "Friends." (Hint: it was)

You and your damn shenanigans... How embarrassing it would be for Kristoph if his clip-in braid flew off during his breakdown.

I want to imagine that Daryan's hair is a wig. I want to have it as a proper headcanon, but... But.

Who says it didn't fly off? :p Maybe the reason they stopped using the Jurist System was because that thing flew off and hit someone in the gallery in the eye, and some conservative-winged media jumped on the incident to put the Jurist System in a bad light. Kristoph is a man to be feared.

Okay, okay, okay. That sounds legit. That's definitely how it happened. And part of the reason for the intensity of that breakdown was because of the utter shame of it. How horrid, to have one's hair-secrets revealed! This was supposed to be for Gavins only!

----

So. Headcanons. Miles Edgeworth has an absolutely beautiful singing voice. Not that he would ever flaunt it. As a matter of fact, very few people know. Perhaps only one. Miles himself.
And Kristoph has a nice voice, but his singing is quite out of tune. Not dreadfully so, but definitely out of tune. :violin: But not as out of tune as his now untuned violin after a while in prison.

Aaand Simon's drink of choice is gin. I thought about that on a whim before going: oh snap; Jin... and Gin... and gin. No gin for Gin, though. Only gin for Jin. Klavier likes beer. Aaand that almost rhymed. Which I didn't even realise until now since I thought about it in my mother tongue.

A headcanon I can't shake is that Kristoph was Simon's defense attorney during his trial. It just stuck.

So. That brothers-German-not German-perhaps-half brothers-rigmarole from before. I have decided on a proper headcanon. If they are half brothers and if it's like Going for Miles' headcanon says about Klavier being half latino: one parent is English, the one they got their surname from. Or possibly Irish. Kristoph is half German. Klavier is half... Argentinian. And if they aren't half brothers, one parent is English or Irish and one parent is Austrian.

"If English or Welsh it derives from the pre 5th century Celtic personal name Gawaine, itself a derivation of the original Gwalchmai, a personal compound translating as The Battle Hawk [...]" -concerning the surname Gavin. And that's why Kristoph was defending Simon. Ah, it all comes together so smoothly. (This last part was completely and utterly serious.)

WFG: I can see why that would be Simon's drink of choice. I thought it would be something like sake though :sillytrucy:

If Athena and Apollo get married, their kids will be named Artemis and Ares. Gotta keep that mythical "A" trend going.

*Also, Artemis will be a prosecutor and Ares will be a defense attorney. Sibling rivalry taking on a whole new meaning

Exactly! :edgey:

Which leads me to another headcanon of mine: as opposed to a popular headcanon (or perhaps rather memeic mutation), I definitely don't think he's a "weeaboo". He's interested in certain things, very, very interested, but not like... that. He has certain interests that means a lot to him (on the verge of obsession!) but it's not like he's all "ahhh JapanJapanJapan I love everthing Japan". I just can't see it. More like - many aspects of the culture means so very, very much to him and are important to him and his identity.

Of course, the pun would have been painfully obvious if they called his owner ally Kin (for "gold"), so they went with something a little less metallic, Jin, for "lightning quick".

I thought this was established as canon. He obviously has strong ties to Japanese culture, but it's implied to be through his mentor's preferences.

Beautiful, beautiful. I can see it, I really can.

Quote:

It's part of his punishment. "Well, Gavin, you can have all these nice things, but you're forever cursed to play with a creaky violin! And don't you dare complaining about it, or we'll bother you by shouting your name when you're using the bathroom so you'll get all distracted, as well as waking you up by blowing the trumpet at five o'clock and change all your favourite books to books about cockatoos and their diet, walrus-breeding and soap."

Oh! That sounds logical, I really like it. Wherever you're going with it. First I read it too quickly and thought you said that Gin was the owner of Jin... New headcanon here.

Mmmhmm. I was just, pah, tired of this "oh, he has ties to Japanese culture, then he must be a weeaboo"-business, that memeic mutation, and... that was, well... the whole "headcanon" (or so to speak), really, but then I went all... "this and this and that", my mind racing a bit, starting to explain things that needed no explanation. But yes, very much so! (Now I barely know what I'm writing... Babbling... I should call it a night, haha.)

Sal Menella's PIN is 1337. Because why not.

Blue Screens, Inc. was founded by somebody who used to work at Bluecorp. Although now that I think about it, that's Lisa Basil, right? So I guess this theory is more that Lisa used to work at Bluecorp. I mean, how exactly did she know so much about Glen Elg? It's been a while since I've played that case, so if I'm missing something obvious let me know. :basil:

I hope this isn't too much of a stretch, but some Steel Samurai headcanons as well.

1.) The Nickel Samurai was a huge base breaker for the fandom. Some fans enjoyed the new heroes, others thought the original Steel Samurai was much more
compelling. Many disliked the love 'Y', since Sayo was a Mary Sue to them. Lots of fans enjoyed the romantic subplot, and found it a nice change of pace. Many flame wars happened.

Maya and Cody are pro-Nickel Samurai. Penny isn't a fan of it, since the TCG had a sudden decline in quality after the release.

2.) You're lead to believe that Sayo hates her father for all of the wrong he's done. The final plot twist reveals she was always planning to return to the Strawberry Clan, and was trying to seduce the Samurai Bro's.

3.) They produced a Steel Samurai musical once.
Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha! Aha!

Wow, I think I now sort of understand why he had five black psyche-locks. He couldn't let Phoenix know his deepest, darkest secret...

that he actually likes clarinets more than violins now.

They never said how they knew. I always assumed like a crazy person that they had his personal info because he's their full-time employee and that companies usually have that stuff. Now I think I may have been a little off...

D: Nooo, not the TCG! But, it's so suspicious that they never brought them up again...

But given that there were supposedly "stage shows" and a full-out "movie", I wouldn't be surprised if they also had musicals, official manga, a video game series, light novels... everything imaginable EXCEPT for an anime 'cause it's live-action and all. (And calling out Capcom's lack of an AA anime, on that thought...)

I didn't even say that Kristoph necessarily had one since this all stemmed from the idea that Klavi's hair would be fake. Kristoph's hair might be... real.

Pfft, clip-ons? real? Kristoph only buys the most fabulous of hair extensions. That's how it's so long and luscious! :kristoph:

Maybe it's a wig and Kristoph is actually bald?

I'd be impressed if such a wig existed, thinking about his hair flowing everywhere... But still, he seems to want to have the best of beauty products, only the finest, so who knows?

*Desperately trying not to see a mental image of a bald Kristoph*

I don't know how this came to me, but; Apollo really has a quite grand vocabulary. He just doesn't flaunt it. (This sounded less awkward in my head, like an April May-innuendo... I promise that this headcanon is about a literal vocabulary.)

This is borderline headcanon, borderline crack theory... I'm not 100% sure of what I think about the matter, but since it's not really cracky I'll post it here.
Spoiler: DD
The real Bobby Fulbright would find Simon annoying. He wouldn't disrespect him, but he'd find him a bit obnoxious. (I mean, as good an impersonator the phantom is, he can't know how his personas would feel about other people, if he hasn't seen them interact, that is. And even if two people would interact nicely he's still no mind reader.)

After playing an AAO fancase and reading a DGS WMG on tvtropes,I want to convince myself that in DD the approval of the jurist system was still pending, and we will see what happened to it in GS6.Also,DGS is half a test to see wether AA fans like the idea of a jurist system in future games, thus why we have no udates on the game Eshiro's team is working on.Very unlikely,I know, but I still want to believe it.

And he eats fruit salad for breakfast, with a cup of Earl Gray on the side.

Matt Engarde sucks at trust games. Maybe that's how it started. The year was '06. Engarde, a young lad aged 9.
Was asked to play trust fall by a superior. He spreads his arms and falls backwards but, alas, the boy who should have caught Matt was too busy finding wheat strands to stick in his mouth ( :juan: ). Young Matt could never trust anyone ever again.
