I guess they did, but not so much that it bothers me. I think the overall letter sounds very Maya-like, though it's annoying that they put Trucy's (?) theme over it.
I have to say that I like that she at least got this letter with a proper name under it, and not just "that kid" or "the lawyer and his assistant" like in Apollo Justice.. that was terrible.

I'm german.. so please forgive me mistakes etc. x)

First its A whole lot better
This fic may be very predictable as every single one-shot of this pairing is. But it has some golden moments among many one-shots that makes it a really funny and heartwarming expirence. And when I say funny and heartwarming a mean it.

Next in the list is Turnabout date
This fic is amazing, but to talk about it I have to keep it on spoilers for those who havent read it.

So, who is in the mood to hear a corny story about a translator getting to love something?
Warning long reading about my life

I remember the first time I read this, it was probably in 2009 and it was probably the first time in ever that I started reading something because I wanted to read something entertaining.
Since that moment I just looked at fanfiction as this alien thing that my mind could barely understand because it was in other lenguage, but I did knew it existed and since most of the summaries were about um, boring things I inmediatly turned my back on all of the fics, that is until one day that I casually wondered what fics in spanish existed.

I was supossed to wait in my house for uncles to come here and pick me up for a party that me and my family were having, so i though it could be the perfect occassion to look that up, since I didn't thought that I would have the time to whatch a video in youtube or have time to play on my emulators
And I gotta be honest, after my expirence with the other fics, my expectations to find somethingh worty of reading were low.
But then I find this fic, in spanish, with a very decent sounding premise, about a pairing that at the time I didnt really care after a LOT of months after playing the main trilogy of the game. It was good enough for me.
I manage to read the whole thing and I was hooked by the story, and I was reading with a bit of a fear that my uncles may come and I had to stop reading this magnificent piece, luckly they thought I was in other part so we ended up in a little, funny mess.

This fic really got me to like this pairing because it explored some of the basics arguments that helds them together, i started to care more for this relationship and I was craving for more exciting readings about this two. I even improved my english to read all those fanfics. I felt so good for all those readings and those stories. It was fun!

Years later I saw a little club on a spanish forum that also liked this pairing as me, and I felt bad. I knew these people weren't like me, they couldn't read all those stories that I could read, they had to wait for years until they learned english. And I wasn't gonna let that happen! so I began translating as many fics as I could, gaining the love of many and I never in my life felt most important as that!

So i'm here, writing this after a sleepless night.

I really couldn't tell you who I ship more, Phoenix/Maya or Phoenix/Iris. There are things that support each in my mind:

Phoenix/Maya
-Supported by the twosome's natural chemistry; they just work well together in court, during investigations, and as friends. Why not the next level?
-For me, the two things that in my mind unsettle this shipping is the fact that she IS 7 years younger then him, as well as the fact she's Mia's sister. Both are not concrete enough to discredit the shipping in my mind, but factors I can't help but recogmize.

Phoenix/Iris
-This is supported by the fact they both clearly care deeply about each other; Phoenix says she's the person he always thought he was at the end of her trial, and Iris mentioned that Phoenix only had eyes for her during one of his visits to the Detention Center.
-The reasons against this are simple; emotional scars from the relationship with Dahlia, the betrayal of trust exhibited by the fact she lied to him for months, and of course the fact she is/was in Detention for a while. The first two could be negated by the fact that Pheonix is... well... Pheonix, and the latter by the fact that 'love springs eternal' but they are all things that prevent me from full heartedly supporting this ship.

As I cannot fully make up my mind, I just support both ships :trucy:

I have a slight leaning towards the latter I'll admit, but both are great shippings and would work well as OTP, and I fully enjoy reading fanfiction for either. Given my split opinion, may I still join this fanclub? :phoenix:

I have a slight leaning towards the latter I'll admit, but both are great shippings and would work well as OTP, and I fully enjoy reading fanfiction for either. Given my split opinion, may I still join this fanclub? :phoenix:
