Because gay guys alone can't drag in horny old geezers for 8 dollar cups of coffee? It's a marketing ploy.

[Besides... Who says that you can't hire people of the opposite sex just because you're gay?]

Well, I'm sure Armstrong is gay. I mean, he considers himself a girl and flirts with Phoenix and Godot :chef:.

In Ancient Greek culture, woman/woman was the worst thing, man/woman was only done to get children, and man/man was by far the best thing to have. This is most likely because back then the women just stayed at home, weren't educated, and were overall just plain boring. They really praised homosexual men.
But when the Romans invaded, this all disappeared. They didn't really like it.

To be picky, no one actually cared. The problem was if you were caught. lol.

I think greek culture was the main reason the phrase "what you don't know can't hurt you" came about...

And on a side note, condoms were leather or pig skin. (PAIN)

Is it a problem I'm learning all this in drama class? XD (Well we ARE studying Antigone)

There are certainly a lot of camp characters, but as a Brit I am not used to that necessarily equalling gay.

I enjoy campy characters. I love camp in general, I have an OC myself who's campy XD

But to assume such qualities makes them automatically homosexual...um, no.

I'm really indifferent to pairings, so I don't really dig that deep, anyway. I like to leave that topic to the creators, even if the creators don't do anything about it.

I don't really believe any PW character to be homosexual anyway, save for Armstrong. XD

Adrian....maybe. It's believable. But that's kind of it with me.

Redd is so totally a narcissist. If he was gay, he'd probably have a naked statue of some other men, not himself.

And Max is hilarious for being incredibly campy but yet oh so straight. It's great.

The campy characters are always my top favorites. I don't really care about their sexuality in canon, because I usually wind up creating crack yaoi pairings for every series I enjoy.

Though I don't necessarily agree with the statement, it's neat to see everyone's different opinions on the characters and their relationships. :garyuu:

The awesome thing about the PW games is that there is really no wrong (Well.. maybe some are a bit disturbing..)/right pairings. They leave it up to the players to decide in their own minds. Which to me is better than forcing it like most games do. :will:

Oh c'mon guys! :meekins:
The only character in pw who is 100% absolutely gay is :chef: , but, i have to agree that
:adrian: looks a little bit lesbian, but just because she hates men...
She tends to generalize too much...?
At the end of pw2 , some of her BFF are males, and in pw3 there's no proof who can suggest
that :glasses: is lesbian.

ABout :edgeworth: , why he's gay?
Frilly looking guys are all gays!!!!WHEEEEEEEEE!!!!11111111
In the 2nd and 3rd game was just a normal, pompous Marty stu.
I didn't saw anything really "OMFG BUT THEY'RE LUVARZ?!NO WAI!!11", just some big ol'
friendship.
Maybe it's because i don't like :edgeworth: , so yeah, :phoenix: / :edgy: fans, i'm sorry :maggy:

:franny: can't be lesbian just because she tried to be friendly with :adrian: at the end of pw2!
FROM THIS POINT OF VIEW, I'M LESBIAN FOR SAMI-FIRE AND GARLAR!
And I'm not.
Friendship isn't love, of course, but, if you like to see them together, it's all ok :that-b-word:

Actually I think it may even be 13 in Japan for het sex (not sure about other sex), but I may be misremembering.

In the UK it's 16 across the board but it's taken a while for homosexual men to achieve that as we're a bit backward sometimes.

I haven't played T&T yet, but if he considers himself a girl, wouldn't that make him a heterosexual transsexual, or am I completely missing the mark? :eh?:

I don't want to argue about who is and isn't homosexual because my opinions on the matter are just that: opinions. I know 95% of my pairings aren't canon, that not everyone supports them, and I'm not in the mindset right now to argue over hints that can be interpreted in any number of ways.

And, really, Attorney Hatman already said it best:

Mmmm, well you're confusing gender and sexuality - the two are seperate issues. Transgendered men aren't always attracted to other men, but sometimes they are. <shrug>

I'm pretty sure that age of consent in Japan varies depending on the province you're in. Some have it set higher than others.

Well I am sure I got the info from some documentary on TV so I was shaky on whether I was correct or not (bad memory plus not trusting telly 100%). I'd be surprised if it's more than 16 though I must say.

I'm aware of that, but I wasn't sure how to word my question (and I guess I didn't word that very well in my other post; sorry :sadshoe: ). I meant: if Armstrong considers himself (herself?) a woman and is attracted to men, would s/he still be considered gay since s/he is attracted to what s/he preceive to be the opposite gender?

Maybe I should just drop the question altogether; I haven't even played the ruddy game yet.... :payne:

LOL at the notion that Edgeworth's clothes are effeminate. Unless you're suggesting Von Karma is effeminate as well? As far as the game goes I don't really find his court outfit remotely effeminate if I am honest - it's just old fashioned.

Max is as camp as a row of tents. But he loves Regina in a marriage kind of way so is at the very least bisexual and probably het.
