Godot rocks my socks off. He's just... y'know... GODOT. You can't really describe how cool he is. Not EVERYONE dislikes him, I guess, but I've seen plenty of people around here that do.

someone in the opposite thread to this mentioned him. I think because he's a filthy liar. But he's an adorable filthy liar. I admit I yelled at him for lying about pretty much everything but when he said "Apollo Yoostis" I was pretty much like "I WILL ADOPT YOU NOW!"

I thought her and her magical panties were funny. People said she's not as useful as Maya but...really, how useful is Maya?(other than saying how she wants steak and hamburgers all the time >.> I like Maya too though)

I like Wocky. He's kinda wack, yo but he's cool. LOL. I just thought he was hilarious. Especially his mad face for some reason. He reminded me of Naruto(he should've started screeching "I'M GONNA BE A GANGSTER, BELIEVE IT!" or something)

Not me; I love them both, for entirely different reasons.



I actually dislike very few characters from the PW arc(and with AJ, it's the opposite - there are only a few characters that I really really LIKE). There are some that stand out to me that I like and that many others don't.

Dahlia - Best villain in the series. She's so evil and awesome. I probably shouldn't adore her the way that I do, but... I do. Because she's so magnificently evil and monstrous. I wouldn't want to get within ten miles of her in real life, but as a character... oh, do I enjoy every moment she's onscreen.

Iris - She's so sweet and adorable. I don't see her as a Mary Sue, because she's not perfect, and is far from innocent despite all appearances. The further I got into Bridge to the Turnabout my first time through, the more she intrigued me, and then her revelation at the end just sealed it for me. I find her utterly fascinating and flawed, and thoroughly lovable despite all that she did.

Oldbag - Sue me, I find her hilarious. XD

Godot(if he really counts for this) - Love. So much.

Larry - Apparently people can't stand him? I find him very funny. His time on the witness stand in 3-5 is one of the funniest things in the series for me, especially once the picture is revealed. God. "This... is the world of Laurice Deauxnim!"

... Gets me every time. XD

- Not enough people love this AMAZING prosecutor! I mean, come on, he's known as 'The Rookie Crusher'! I love him in all his incarnations, not just the hairless one!

- There is quite a bit of Gant hate, so I just thought I'd say that he was my 2nd favourite villain ever. Clever, devious, and managed to fool me into thinking the killer was Ema (even if by accident). Most of the other killers didn't have me fooled.

- I've not seem much young-Ema love. She is better than Maya AND Trucy as an assistant in the games. I say bring back young Ema. Her witty comments when examining/presenting things, her comments whilst you're in court, and just her all-round less annoyance than Maya. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease bring her back Capcom. (They ruined her in GS4 imo).

- Most people hate him, and this case, but I quite enjoy both. I think I just like all magicians. If they made Acro, Yanni Yogi or Redd White a magician I would probably go from my current stance of instant, and vast, dislike, to loving them!

- Again, not many mentions of her. I think she is great in both 2-1 and 3-3. I feel for her and how she is always having bad luck. I mean, her boyfriend is killed on his birthday, for no reason other than he was in uniform? Who can't feel for her?

- He pushes up his glasses and has a crazy hand animation (http://www.court-records.net/animation/grey-mad.gif). That's all.

- I think, like, that Ini is, like, less annoying than, like, other people, like, suggest she, like, is. Even though she killed Dr. Grey there is something I can't place that makes me like her.

- I think, realistically, most people think Franziska is the worst of the prosecutors (possibly excepting Winston, but he's not in it much). Everyone prefers Edgeworth and Godot, and possibly Klavier. Poor Franziska! My favourite prosecutor by far. I mean, she saves you in 2-4 AND 3-5 (if she didn't stand in then the prosecutor would've pointed out that Edgeworth wasn't a defence attorney.)

- Remember when I said Gant was my 2nd favourite villain? This guy is my favourite. The way he speaks, acts, and just IS. He has a monocle that also functions as a magnifying glass! He is exceedingly clever in stealing something to create an alibi for murdering. He just dancingly descends into my heart. Best. PW/AJ character. Ever.

- Nobody else has mentioned this guy. What's going on? He is THE only character in PW that deserves sympathy. I mean, other characters do, of course, like poor ol' Dr. Grey, and Gant for getting caught, but none of them evoke such emotion in me as Mr. Fawles. It's not often games make me emotional, but Terry Fawles' story just got to me (and no, I didn't cry)

- Kristoph is a very clever guy. I approve of his dress, his hair style, his hand animation that he does (quite reminiscent of Payne's imo). He also makes the first case in AJ the BEST case... and it's a tutorial case! I really was expecting a simple, one trial case. As soon as Olga came onto the scene I was all like "Yeah, she's gonna be the villain. They're not gonna make a tutorial case complex at all" and then BAM, best twist ever.

- The case here being, not many others have mentioned her. I love her, from her fake-Russian version to the pirate-stroke-gambler version. Brilliant character. I find it adorable when she uses Russian words in the middle of her sentences. Her surname is used far too much, but it's still okay.

- Ah, the rambler of AJ. He is by far the best of the ramblers (the others being Oldbag and Wellington). He looks peculiar (can anybody tell me what is going on with those eye lashes of his?) but I think he is great. I also enjoy the closing-book animation. (Yeah, apologies for all the characters so far that have won me over with animations. What can I say? I clearly judge books by their covers.)

- Blind, and can't speak English. Actually, make that can see, but can't speak English. Actually, make that can see perfectly fine and can speak English. Stupidly adorable, as somebody previously mentioned his 'Apollo Yoostis' is just too much for me to handle.

- Magician. Who continually spins his staff around. Alakaaaaaamazing! Not much I can say really, but he is my 2nd favourite PW/AJ character ever. Plus, he tries to set up Zak, whom I hate. I always knew he didn't kill Magnifi though, nobody as great as Valant would do such a thing!

During my 5th replay of Turnabout Samurai, I felt really sorry for Wendy Oldbag. Probably because of that incident. She's a very good character and I love reading her rants. They make so much sense. I absolutely love Dahlia. She was very fascinating villian and I don't know, she's just so awesome. Why do some people hate Brushel!!? He was one of my favorites in the AJ cast along with Plum, Stickler and Winfred. Pffttt, oh yeah, and Marvin Grossberg. "Ah, the days of my youth. Like the scent of fresh lemon, you see..."

If I think about it, I also like Acro and Moe. Their characters are just too deep, and most people judge by what they first see, i.e. two quite annoying people.

Yeah... A LOT of Klavier hate in the opposite thread. I guess I can see why some people would dislike him, but he's a good guy at heart. Err. Do people hate him? Maybe I just got that vibe of dislike from Phoenix. I can't help for feel sorry for Valant for a lot of the reasons posed in Peachi's "Zak is a Jerk" comics. A lot of people seem to not like her new attitude... and yet a lot of people didn't like how her old personality was so similar to Maya's. I like both incarnations, the younger Ema for her enthusiasm for science, and the older Ema for being so sassy to pretty much everyone (the Snackoos made me laugh). Her... meanness, I guess you'd say... was toned down a whole lot by the end of AJ, so I'm not sure why so many people dislike her.

I loved Young Ema, I initially didn't think she was quite as good an assistant as Maya... but over time, it flipped to where, while I still like Maya, I like Trucy and Ema more. Older Ema I found endlessly amusing and endearing, particularly whenever Snackoos were involved. XD Much love for Ema at either age~

I liked Acro, I found that Turnabout Big Top improved for me when he was introduced. It's still one of my least favorite cases, but I did like Max, Acro, and Regina... and frankly, Turnabout Serenade made it almost look good (almost) to me, so there you go. XP

I'm also still very much a defender of Oldbag, as I found her very funny from the getgo, and the allusions to her in Stolen Turnabout cracked me up. "I think it's a helmet. ... An alien helmet."

... Yeah, I was laughing pretty hard at that point. XD They handled it perfectly, in my estimation, referencing her but not by name in that case, and then having her make a cameo in the ending. Brilliant!

I also liked Klavier. He's a genuinely good man, and I can't hold that against him; sure, he's a bit lacking in development, but future games can expand upon his personality nicely. To be perfectly fair, one could say his development wasn't quite what Edgeworth's was in AA alone, but I still like him regardless. He was entertaining, at least, and I want to see more interaction between him and Ema, too.

I've never thought that Larry was annoying, and sine he is hilarious, I liked him.

Moe's another one I liked. Probably because he was the only remotely sane person in that case besides Acro, who I didn't really like.

I hate stickler because he continues the trend in AA of not having any smart scientist characters. And since I plan to be a physicist, I dislike stickler not for the reasons others dislike him, but because he is an insult to science. jerk.
Ema isn't really a scientist. She's more like a science fan-girl. She doesn't know anything but she likes the toys. So I can't hate Ema.
Besides, its all 1-5's fault that she failed the exam anyway. Her notes from that case ruined her.

There's too much hate for the circus people. Yeah, they were a little annoying, but was shown to be a good person who was willing to step it up and take care of the circus family, and was really sympathetic once you figured out why he did what he did, even if you didn't agree with it.
And ... she was too naive, but the game's story treated that like a fault, not like her unfamiliarity with the world was a good thing. She couldn't help not knowing about things if her father made it a point to keep her in the dark about everything bad. Yes, a lot of the problems in the case were related to her being kind of stupid, but it was NOT HER FAULT if she was being intentionally overprotected, and people really shouldn't be blaming her for it. Besides, it looked like Moe would provide a parental role in her life after the game IIRC, and I think he would be more realistic with her about death and that sort of thing.

He's so clueless, it's funny.

I adore her... I don't know why.

Awww, really? I liked Maya. I thought she was adorable and very human. It would have been annoying if she was super helpful all the time. I liked that she had her flaws and bad moments.

I also really like Valant. Like, really. 8| I can't help it. Somehow he grew on me. Him, Adrian, and oddly enough, Luke Atmey and Victor Kudo.

They're all just so well-written and (most of them, anyway) well-developed, I don't see how I could outright hate anyone. (Well, that doesn't stop me from poking fun at said characters. XD)

She gets a lot of hate for whatever reasons, being "immature", getting into trouble a lot. I'm not gonna get into details, because I already did it in this thread
He is also very underrated, simply for not being Phoenix. I never minded not playing as Phoenix (it was already done in TaT, and slightly in JFA), and while 4-1 is my least favorite case, and 4-2 is average, I truly love 4-3 in which Apollo shone. That case finally made me really like Apollo. He isn't all that different from Phoenix, yes, he is more concerned about him being "not as cool as Klavier" and he is obsessed with his "Chords of Steel", but it's funny. At least he isn't a simple Phoenix clone. I can identify with Phoenix more, of course, but Apollo is still a better protagonist than most games' main characters.
Yes, he is a pervert. But aren't we all are? Anyway, I really have no problem with Kudo. At the beginning, he was bitter (but funny - "I'm feeding the birds"), but then I began to like and understand him more and more. I liked how he didn't agree with being considered useless at old age, remaining active and desiring to do something after the 60's is a really rare and admirable trait.
What? People hate him? How can they? He is so adorable, and the only boy character between the age of 12 and 18 (while there are plenty of girls).
I don't really blame him for "fucking with the crime scene". First Thalassa chose Zak over him, and now that jerk got the rights, too. But even after the troupe was over, he was the only one who continued in the magician business and didn't give up. Also note that he was always kind with Trucy, daughter of his biggest rival. I like his attitude, too, even though his testimonies and locks (at least the first set) were damn hard.
