Our school year starts in Janurary and my new maths teacher has a very heavy accent. She said to the class "I dont give you too much homework so dont gant yourselves." Well obviously she said something else but I still havent worked out what she said. I started laughing when she said that and she thought I was being racist! :sadshoe:
And she contradicted her self anyway, she gives lots of work. :edgeworth:

My ears perked up at least five times this morning while listening to the news on the radio. I was even more surprised when I saw it on the newspaper (one of the rare times I actually pick a newspaper up).

Apparently, our chief state prosecutor (probably the equivalent of chief prosecutor) had retired yesterday, and our government is trying to find a replacement. :lana: You can imagine how crazy I was going hearing the word "prosecutor" so many times. :edgeworth: Apparently, our chief state prosecutor is in charge of all the prosecutors in the country, about over a thousand of them.

I was just watching TV, and in the credits of this show, a Peggy Nichols was listed. So damn close.

Also, just because I'm not sure if there's a topic like this for AAI: My friend's calculator has a Logic Mode.

Haha. Way back before I knew about Ace Attorney, I had a super-awkward but lovable civics teacher named Mr. McNichols. My friends and I made it our life goal to hook him up with the SRO, Penny Something-or-Other just so we could have a Penny McNichols running around. It never worked out. :(

There is seriously a lawyer here with the last name "Wright". I'm not kidding. I saw an ad for this guy around December (I think) in the mall. I wish I took a picture, because I don't know if that picture is still up there because I don't go to that particular mall very often.

My sister came running to me after school today with her history textbook to show me this paragraph:

"The person who creates a source is like a witness in a courtroom. The historian has to find out is the witness is telling the truth. However, the advantage of questioning a witness in a courtroom is that the witness is alive and can respond. The historian's witnesses may have been dead for thousands of years!"

I then pointed out to her that not all witnesses are 'alive' in the courtroom. *cough3-5cough* She said that next lesson they were learning about "Contradictory Evidence". I wish history was that fun for me! :D

I saw 300 the other day and they worked in a bastardized form of the "This is Madness! This is SPARDA!" line, but they pronounced it wrong.

It's cool that the guy behind it is a Phoenix Wright fan though.

This is an AAI one, but there are no spoilers in it.

My mother was inspecting some jewelery for sale at a pharmacy today. One was modelled after a flower. One next to it was modelled after a butterfly! Hoo boy, what a coinkidink! See told ya, no spoilers.

EDIT: I just remembered. I was reading the TV guide, and one show was titled simply "Thalassa". :gipsy:

My aunt works in the Supreme Court in the audit department, when I came across one foreign attorney whose transfer papers were handled by my aunt's group.

The name, Atty. Nicholas Andrew N. Wright

Nicholas = Nick = Nick Wright = :phoenix:

It took me a while to realize the nickname, and when I did, I was already home so I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the papers.

Aw~ I would've noticed right away! :grey:

Today, I sat in on my friend's oral communication classes. They were pronouncing the states of the US using proper American English accents and IPA. As they were getting on with it, a particular someone had a voice that stood out: very loud but lacking confidence.

:odoroki:

Heck, it was so loud and piercing, I had to cover my ear and turn my head away to keep myself from cringing in sonic overload!

Oh, and; after, I kept shouting in the lounge, "I'M FIIIIIIIIINE!~"

I would have taken a picture of it just becuase there was an attorney named Wright on it. LOL.

Umm..I dont know if this counts but me and a friend were playing Turnabout sisters on the piano after music class and the teacher randomly started playing it on the trumpet dispite not ever having heard it before. Sounded quite good too.
I had another one but I forgot it... LOL.

This one's pretty far out:

My friend and I just passed the ticket gate at the train station when he suddenly said, "The way you put your ticket card in -- it looked like you were about to reach for your suitcase. Then you snatched up the card so fast; like you found the truth in court and yelled out, 'Objection!'"

... How the heck does he come up with these crazy things...?

I went to the mall today, and discovered that there is a new store there called DeMasqe (not DeMasque, but close enough to amuse me).

The best part is that it's right next to Kay's Jewelers. :keiko:

And before you say "ACEY YOUR MALL IS THE GREATEST EVER"...it's actually pretty tiny and boring. Still a cool little coincidence, though!

This morning, we heard Sunday Mass in a hospital. My grandpa, who is my fountain of wisdom, had to go to the bathroom.
Sounds like someone familiar to me: :udgy:

A little while ago, when I was at the mall, I saw not one but TWO people who looked suspiciously like Larry. The one that I remember better did in fact have a bright orange shirt on, and he had light brown hair that kinda stuck up. It was scary.

I also recently learned that in some states (California is one), it's possible to be mentored by an experienced lawyer instead of going to law school. o_o Manfred, anyone?
