Actually, the main reason I think it could be argued that he is a victim is that he was Dahlia's victim when he was poisoned - which is technically one of the cases Mia is tackling in 3-1. A little bit of a stretch, but he is more of a 'victim' than all the other characters with tragic pasts.


I tend to agree with that point.

Even if he didn't officially die, he was pretty much killed.

Since Mia is so prevalent in the series, I don't really think of her as a victim. Although she is my fav. I really got attached to her in 1-1 ;-;

My other favorite is Elise. She's just so nice and kind and motherly and sweet and... well... you know... *shifty eyes* That part was so sad :(

:onamida: Unpopular opinion, maybe. But I felt terribly for the poor guy. He was so in love with the Bitch Queen that he was totally blinded, and it cost him his life. Also I think he's adorable. :keiko:

For me, my favorites would have to be Russell Berry and Neil Marshall. Russell seemed like a very generous person, taking in Acro and Bat and also making sure Moe was able to take care of his family. And Neil Marshall for trying to save Ema Skye.

Harley Holly Quinn: Actually, she didn't lose her identity... she STOLE her sister's identity. She brought her fate upon herself, and caused 16 people to die. Truly an evil person.

Anyway, my favourite victim is Dahlia Hawthorne. I mean, she was hanged and then murdered! I almost cried when I found out she was hanged... though her second 'death' felt good for some reason.

I also felt terribly sorry for Terry, Grey, Drew and Dustin.

Mia, she was Phoenix's mentor. She didn't die for doing anything bad or mean like a few of the victims did. She only died because she was fighting for justice. Plus she was beautiful :hotti:

I find it hard to feel all that sorry for Mia since she just keeps popping up after her death. I couldn't help but think, "Geez, aren't you completely dead, yet?"

My favorite victim would be Elise, and that's main because of her connection to Maya and Pearl. Also the fact that you get to meet with her and talk with her before she's actually killed. I couldn't find much of a connection with the victims that were already dead.

Definitely Elise Deauxnim.

I mean, really. She writes children's books, she was compassionate enough to take "Laurice" as her apprentice, and hardcore enough to carry that awesome staff/sword around. That's all in addition to basically giving her life for Maya and Pearl. Pretty much impossible NOT to love her.


Though :sad-maya: is runner-up for having the longest bad luck streak in the history of everything.

She loses both her parents. Her sister dies (and she is blamed for it). She gets tasered. She is framed for another murder (by her AUNT). She is kidnapped and stored in a wine cellar. And, of course, her mother is killed in front of her, and she is (eventually) blamed for it.

Anyway, it would probably be Mia... If she had a personality... and if she didn't keep on coming back to life like dying was just a minor setback (which, come to think of it, is pretty much true in Ace Attorney).
Come to think of it, my favourite victims are Drew Misham (he was just so adorable, I wanted to hug him so much in the Mason system) and Valerie Hawthorne. The latter I don't like that much, but her profile picture always reminds me of Holly Short from Artemis Fowl.

How many times have Maya/Diego been picked? A pretty loose definition of the term "victim", I think. I mean, this is only referring to people who actually DIED, right?
