I don't think it's bridge to the turnabout..but man did that case seem long..I wish it had a more epic name tho'

I didn't consider it because it's discontinuous and all that.


And it's not Bridge to the Turnabout. And in the japanese version it was called "Magnificent Turnabout" (or something like that) which is a bit more epic.

I mean, after all, Not only was this asked on the "Old" forums previously, but WAY before that, back when the BBC was still popular, I was making PW-Based Yu-Gi-Oh cards for the "Yu-Gi-Oh Card Maker" topic. In fact, of all the ones I've made (I think 6...), This was the first. :gymshoe:

And the answer is "Reunion and Turnabout". Here's a hint as to why: When you meet Dr. Grey at the intro, it's the 16th. When you go to meet Maya, it's the 19th.

And that's just the first two Investigation Screens! You haven't even been in the MANSION yet, by this point, and it's already been 3 days!

Recall that he stated "That takes care of all end-game cases". If it was simply a case of "The most Investigation/Trial Periods", then it would be 3-5, without a doubt (Since he said it's not 4-4 at the start).

Taking away the Game-Based aspect, it leaves us with a literal aspect. And since that would mean "Days" that go by, ZVARRI! Only the truth remains! :aiga: I sure hope I'm right...

I'm asking for the first necessary reference. (something you can effectively never get after the first trial day, and have to see in the process of completing the case.)

Nah xD

Continuous means consecutive days.

There is a day between the opening cinematic and the rest of the case. That means that the entire case is discontinuous, but the entire case excluding that opening cinematic scene is continuous. And the continuous part isn't long enough.

Well, I was talking more about the scene afterwards where Maya introduces the Steel Samurai...the one right after the opening cinematic. But that's correct, cinematics don't count. (For instance, the one to 1-4, even though it's a day before the first investigation)

You control the protagonist (Mia, Phoenix, Apollo, and you-know-who) at all times except during the opening cinematic, so I don't think that first question is relevant... and aren't flashbacks just little flashbacks to something the character said in the case? Those dont count... it's like remembering stuff in real life. You don't suddenly jump back in time or something xD

It counts as any day you control a character. So if, for instance, that very first scene of Turnabout Samurai took place one day later, all of Turnabout Samurai would be continuous and that opening scene would count, even though it's really short.


So if a case went like:
Jan 1: The case opens, have a scene where the murder occurs (like the beginning of 2-2 or 2-4)
Jan 2: Begin investigating
Jan 3: Court day 1, The prosecutor is attacked for some reason and the trial is postponed.

Then you investigate a flashback thing and control a new character, so:
Oct 1: First day of trial and investigation
Oct 2: Second day of trial

Then the flashback ends and you come back:
Jan 5: Court day 2, Investigation 2
Jan 6: Court day 3

This case would be discontinuous, but composed of 3 parts, with the first one being 3 days and the others being 2 days. However if, for example, Jan 4 was investigation 2 and Jan 5 was investigation 3, then it would be 2 parts, one being 6 days and the other 2.

So you basically just look at the dates that stuff happened (excluding the opening cinematic) and see if they are all in a row.

And if it's 1-2, then it's been disproved anyways... assuming Bad Player read my edit, of course...

First day is a cutscene, so it can't be included, Magnus.

... Wait, but 4-2 is only 2 Inv. phases and 2 Court phases... and 4-3 is 3 inv. phases and 2 trials, as well...

... I REALLY hope we didn't just rule out EVERY case in the SERIES...
