I was under the impression that the same translation team did Phoenix Wright 1 and 2 (with exception to case 5 in PW1)... is this true? Someone states it was a different team for each game. If that is so, anyone know which team will be doing PW3 now?

No, Alexander O. Smith did the first game with the exception of RFTA, the Capcom Translation Team or whatever it's called did the rest.
I haven't been hit by a car, nobody's coming at me with a switchblade, the tectonic plates aren't splitting apart, and it isn't raining blood, so I guess this is a good day!

Oh, no wonder why there is such a lack of the word "Ergo" in the later cases. Detective Gumshoe

Which is a shame. You can always use a good bit of 'ergo'. Edgy

ERGO FOREVAH!!!

/brain on now

The CTT are good...but A. O. Smith is probably better Franziska .
Some of the translated names in GS2 were pretty lame (Impax sounds like a brand of tissues or tampons...please).

So you think the CTT is doing PW3 then? Just thought I'd ask... and yes I did prefer AOS' efforts :)

Every single person that worked on PW2 should be forbidden to work on PW3. See my topic in Kurain for reasons.

I see what they were going for (Latin "in pax" -> English "in peace", à la "rest in peace"), but it is a bit of an awkward name. I'd love to proofread for them, or even offer a little input. Edgy

I did (read "forced") two years of Latin at school, so I did pick up on that as well...
