Someone on Twitter posted an image of a book titled "How to use Courtroom Drama to win cases", written by a man with the last name Wright. I'd post an image, but whenever I try, the preview won't show it, so I give up.

I wonder if it's even legal to publish such a thing? Probably, but still,it seems rather dodgy.

My family usually plays mahjong on holiday breaks and this Christmas, we racked up on the number of games. 4 straight days of passing around tiles. In three of the four games, I won something. The first two were clean sweeps where I won chips from everyone. The third one was the exciting one where I turned the game around from losing to everyone to a bare-bones win by single chip, thanks to a single extra tile picked from getting a four-of-a-kind. If it wasn't for that, I would have lost.

The game where I won most was also with the blue chips, but I won again with the red as well.

And all in time with Edgeworth's trial to boot. I'm not usually superstitious, but what a great omen. Or maybe a great coinkidink.

Similar to you,but with Ludo. My relatives were sure they were going to win but I came in first both times. Wonderful.

Having the combination F-E-Y must be quite a rare sight. I've seen lots of AJs and AAs on number plates. AJ obviously must be Apollo's English initials.

"AJ" also means "Ouch!" in Swedish!

AA actually got a Swedish translation. His name is Vridsigismärta Ajsomfan. Oldbag is Kärring. Phoenix Wright is Fenix Rätt. Kristoph is Mördare Mördarsson. DeKiller is Mördarsnäckan.

(Squirminpain Ouchgoddammit. Crone. Phoenix Right... well, that could make sense in a way since Rätt means both right and is used with law-related stuff, courtroom would be rättssal and so on. Killer Killersson. The Murderershell.)

...and this may or may not be a joke.

I read an article where they quoted an attorney with the last name Wright. At one point they referred to him as "Mr. Wright".

Today I learned that pearlbands that some ladies wore around their heads in the 1920's were referred to as "headache bands" because the pearls would stretch so tightly around their foreheads that it gave headaches. I bet Apollo agrees with them.

My college has a dormitory called Wright Hall (Unfortunately, I don't live there :sad-maya: )

I have an aunt who looks like :adrian:

One of my next door neighbors is called Miss :kay: (It's not her initial, her name is actually Kay. Unfortunately, her last name isn't Faraday...)

An old design of one of my OCs resembles a male :basil: , and the weird thing is, even now they still share a fondness for computers and the color blue...

*snort* Even though I was already in the bath when the foam got... foamy. But still!

Dipping my butt in Phoenix... Certainly something I can live without. xD

I forgot to post this before, but I had a pleasant Lunar New Year dinner. And of course the best way to end it after a bit of wine... is to drink juice out of a wine glass. It was guava, so it also helped cleanse my palette.

It was unintentional at the time, but after I thought about it, it reminded me of a certain running gag.

Edit: Oh, yeah. My family has a court case. I mean, we're just suing our former landlady for outrageous charges and withholding on our safety deposit, but it's still being taken to court. Let's do this. (ง •̀_•́)ง

Yes, it's an anagram, but they also sound similar when you say it. (Actually, I chose not to use the word "anagram" in the post since I thought that what if there's some strict definition of anagram and then someone will come and snark me about it, but alas, I got snarked anyway. )

This is more of an unintentional connection from GS rather than to, but ever since I read up on how Takumi got the word "Kurain", you know, other than it sounding pretty, I can never see that place the same way again.

Klein Village.

And then there's Elise's The Magic Bottle.

Spirit channeling confirmed to be an infinite loop of impossibilities that only work in theory. In 3D!

Huh. I have the distinct feeling I'm missing something here (and I did try to google but came up short). But that... almost makes sense. In 3D.

It's a reference to the Klein Bottle, a theoretical 3D shape that looks like a bottle, but it has no inside nor outside. It's essentially a loop into itself.

Godot:
...just as I had taken the
first sip of my eighth cup
of morning coffee.

I thought of that quote when I brewed myself a full French press holding eight coffee cups. "Coffee cups" as in the measurement, that is, not eight full mugs worth of coffee, but technically I had eight cups of morning coffee. (Then I went and took a nap)

I got a package I'd ordered from ebay today, it was sent from a D. Crescent. I think I'd better check the package again just to make sure there's no Borginian cocoon hidden in it. (The order in question was a wallet with the Phoenix Wright-logo on it, and sent by "Mail Lite")
