No, Edgeworth sounds more like Kelsey Grammar. (Frasier, anyone?) You know, an average voice with that tinge of class.

That's pretty close to how I imagine his voice. Except with a little more "surfer dude". XD
As for others... I make up a lot of the voices, so comparing them to other people will be tough... I'll post if I think of some though. I try to think of Phoenix and Edgeworth's voices as close to to their "Objection!"s as possible, but for some reason Phoenix often ends up sounding whiny in my head. O_o

Demyx's voice is a little too sweet and kiddy for that role, despite what you said later, I see the voice of Axel as a better fit.
Kelsey Grammar would be a great pic for Edgeworth, and despite my hatred for him, David Moo would be a good Brushel.
I see Kari Walgren as Desiree, and Crispin Freeman in his stereotypical evil voice being a good Manfred Von Karma
