I just got my first two PW games, JFA and T&T, I start to play JFA, and I'm too nervous to start, since I don't have the first game, I feel like a mere kitten facing off against adult lions! I really really want to play, but I don't know how to play, should I wait to get the first game, THEN play the rest?

AHHHHHHHHHH

Help me! T.T

I don't want to fail...I must be perfect the first time....

So, can anyone tell me the basic game controls and stuff?

Play JFA first, Then T&T. Thats actually how I played the games first. You wont have any problems understanding the game.

My God, you sound like you're gettin ready to have sex or something.

Relax, each game gives you a basic run-through on how to play, so just pick one to play. I played JFA before the first game and I was fine. So just pick one

Yeah, just pick one and you'll do fine. They design each game so that new people to the series(not necessarily you) can pick it up and just play.

But I feel as if I need AA to play the rest s itll be easier to play.

I feel I must do it perfect without flaws.

God, I think I know how Franziska must feel about perfection in trials.

Hmm...bad word choice, but: "everyone" seems to say: Pick one...
I would say pick JFA, because I wouldn't NVER play T&T as the first AA game...
But if I were you...gal...
Hide them somewhere and just wait till you got AA....oh wait...no don't
Umm...*out of ideas*
...Go to AA hunting.

I played JFA first - It didn't ruin anything for me, in fact in some cases people say it's better to have played JFA before AA.

Well Fraulein the start of JFA has Nick with amnesia so it's just like a fresh start, you get a little training trial no worries :garyuu:

Plotwise? I'm not sure if your missing out or not. :yuusaku:

I would definately suggest playing the first game first if possible. There's a reason they were released in the order they were.

Having said that, you can play each game without prior experience in the others; you get an in-game tutorial in each. The only thing you miss out on by playing JfA first is story details from AA.

I still have some gift certificates for the STC where I am, hmm...maybe I can get HMV to order in AA and AJ...hmmm

Ms Franzise Deauxnim, you've been the most helpful, Thank you.

Thank you all.

I think the reason I'm so nervous is that for me, things have to be kept in an orderly fashion, so maybe if I play AA first, then I'll be less nervous...must be a psychological thing for me..

It must be some sort of OCD. ^_^;; If you can, I'd recommend that you play AA first, but if you can't, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I also suggest playing AA first, really. You can play JFA first and it's okay, but starting the series with the first game is recommended.

If you can get your hands on AA1 in a couple of days or max. 1-2 weeks, I suggest that you wait.

The first case of JFA is quite a hard one anyway.

But don't stress, you can just start with JFA, if you want.

However, T&T should definitely be the last one.

Now now...Don't scare her, eh?
I admit 2-1 is harder than 1-1, because you need more logical thinking in JFA than in AA.
And in T&T...boy...Sometimes even more than in JFA.

And yes...T&T should definitely be the last one...It's not really nice to complete Api first and then play T&T...
It feels like...yeah...

2-1 really is by far the hardest -1 case.
However, 2-2 is easy, unlike 3-2.

Maybe 2-1 was only hard for me, but for me it was the 2nd hardest of all the -1 and -2 cases (3-2 was harder).

It depends. If you REALLY want to play the series that badly, and can't wait at all, I'd start with JFA, but if I were you, I'd just wait for the first one cuz I played 'em backwards and I was soooo disappointed because of the 8-million plot twists that didn't make sense without playing the first one.*takes breath after forty million word sentence*
If you're like me, and just couldn't find the first one, I'd get it online... or gamestop...or any other game-type store.

Christ, this isn't something to get worked up over. I played JFA first, then AA, then TnT.

Just play JFA first, I actually feel that it enhanced my enjoyment of the series in a Star Wars kind of way. I wouldn't play TnT first though...

Well, it depends on your taste whether you feel like playing JFA first enhanced your enjoyment of the series or not ...
But if someone really wants to play the series in the correct order, he should.

Heh, I guess I'm the odd ball then. I played T&T first, and then AA, and then JFA.

Talk about a strange order.

You know...Even that's better than what my friend did...
(loaned games from me, but didn't ever even tried to check the order, so...)
He played them like this: AJ, AA, T&T, JFA

I think that playing AA first would help me the most greatly as Phoenix is a novice attorney and that way, I can play the game in serial order, like a book series.

I got some certificates for HMV, so I'll ask them to order AA in. Maybe AJ too if i have enough money. =D

Start with the first game. It just makes sense that way. And the games are meant to be played in order. You'll be pretty confused storywise if you don't.

Eh. I played T&T first because that's the one I got as a gift a while back; I understood everything just fine. Just play them in the order you feel comfortable.
