Hmm, I think I'll structure this in terms of their numerical order and whatnot, with some bonus categories.

Case One

1. Turnabout Memories
2. Turnabout Trump
3. The Lost Turnabout
4. The First Turnabout

Notes: This was a very easy category to decide on a #1 for; I just can't say no to playing as Mia and Dahlia's magnificent introduction. Turnabout Trump is good, but doesn't quite touch 3-1, and the bottom two are fairly interchangeable in terms of quality; only thing that raises 2-1 just slightly above 1-1 is that it introduces Maggey.

Case Two

1. Turnabout Sisters
2. The Stolen Turnabout
3. Reunion, and Turnabout
4. Turnabout Corner

Notes: This one was a bit more difficult. Turnabout Sisters is still one of the most satisfying cases for me, and Stolen Turnabout is just a LOT of fun with great characters, so it was a tough choice. In the end, though, 1-2 gets the nod. Ranks 3 and 4 were a bit tricky, too; as while 2-2 can be frankly annoying to play through due to Ini and the massive leaps of logic, but it does have an important place in the overall storyline, so. And while 4-2 features an annoying Dahlia knockoff and some wild leaps of logic itself, it also has lots of Trucy and Ema, my two favorite characters in that game. I ended up ranking 2-2 just higher, though.

Case Three

1. Recipe for Turnabout
2. Turnabout Samurai
3. Turnabout Big Top
4. Turnabout Serenade

Notes: A lot easier to decide on than the last category. Recipe for Turnabout is fun and very funny, as is Turnabout Samurai, so those two easily got themselves the top two spots. 2-3 was my least favorite case ever until I played 4-3, though, so the bottom two spots were no-brainers.

Case Four

1. Farewell, My Turnabout
2. Turnabout Goodbyes
3. Turnabout Beginnings
4. Turnabout Succession

Notes: This was harder, as I actually really like the top three a lot, and changed my order around a few times before settling on one. I wish there was a way to move 4-4 down further, as that's the only one on the list that I really dislike. XD

Case Five

1. Bridge to the Turnabout
2. Rise From the Ashes

Notes: This isn't much of a category, honestly, as there's only two fifth cases. And I love both of these - a lot - but as 3-5 is my personal favorite of all time, it gets the #1 spot. I think I'll do a "Final Case" one that ranks the cases that wrap up each game's storyline.

Final Case

2. Farewell, My Turnabout
3. Turnabout Goodbyes

Notes: Pretty danged easy to decide on, overall. Probably the easiest since the Case One category.

It also holds up better on a replay, I found. So it gets the nod instead. Consider 2-4 to get the #6 spot if I ever decide to do a top 10 list. ^^

And this is where I freeze up, because while AJ definitely has its merits, and JFA has two really weak cases, it's hard to rank one over the other definitively. I mean, JFA has Farewell, My Turnabout, and Franziska, but also has Turnabout Big Top and an overall weaker soundtrack. AJ has much weaker writing, and some of my least favorite cases of the series, but also has better music than JFA, a solid first case, better gameplay during investigation sequences, Ema, and Trucy. I don't think I can decisively rank one of them over the other. XD;

1-3 : Didn't really care much for any of the characters.
1-1 : You saw this coming.
2-1 : Bit short, shitty villain, unnecessarily stupid ("hey does this GLOVE look like BANANAS to you?"....what?)

1-2 : I think there were a few inconsistencies.
2-2 : Lots of flaws. Would have been in the "Bad" tier had it not been for Ini :>
2-3 : Again, didn't really care for any of the characters. Except Moe.
4-2 : .........REPRESENT (below-average scenarios everywhere! Most boring villain ever. Although Stickler saved the day..a bit.)
3-4 : Necessary for the plot (which is why this is not just BAD), but still pretty lackluster.

Okay
3-2 : Meeeh. I like how it started off with a simple thievery, but that was it.
4-4 : Mason System bored me quite a bit.
3-1 : Not much to say here. Except young Phoenix Wright was annoying.
3-5 : The final investigation scene was probably my favourite in the whole series, but the trial bits left something to be desired. Also: another boring villain.

Good
1-4 : VonKarma was badass.
4-1 : Just very damn good. Best opening case by a long shot.
4-3 : Daian, hellz yeah. Although I must say GOD DAMN THOSE VIDEO REPLAYS

Turnabout Trump gets #1 over Turnabout Memories just because of who's guilty.

Second Cases:
1) Turnabout Sisters
2) The Stolen Turnabout
3) Reunion, and Turnabout
4) Turnabout Corner

This was tough. It was pretty much equal across the board for me. They all had their high moments, although Turnabout Corner's was really just introducing the characters for the AJ series.

Third Cases:
1) Recipe for Turnabout
2) Turnabout Samurai
3) Turnabout Big Top

Turnabout Big Top isn't in the equation here. Even though Turnabout Samurai had some really good Oldbag-Edgeworth exchanges, Recipe for Turnabout was a stronger case overall.

Fourth Cases:
1) Turnabout Goodbyes
2) Farewell, My Turnabout
3) Turnabout Beginnings

I really like these 3 a lot, but Turnabout Beginnings is more of a mini-case. Anyway, Turnabout Goodbyes is probably my favorite case overall, so that got the top spot.

Case Five:
1) Bridge to the Turnabout
2) Rise From the Ashes

They were both very good cases, but Bridge to the Turnabout was a bit better. Although, thinking back to it, they've both got their very good moments. The killer in Bridge was spoiled for me, so I had more fun figuring out who Ashes' was. But Bridge was a great finale for the series, so it gets the nod.

These were the only three I really didn't like. The Lost Turnabout gets the "honor" because it set up a disappointing game. The amnesia thing was frustrating, too, because I figured out what was going on before Phoenix did. That and the fact that a) it's impossible for a man with a broken neck to write something and b) I refuse to believe the police is so dense that they don't know how to spell Maggey's name.

T&T and AA are basically tied, but T&T was a little better for me just because it was "exciting", if you will, to see the series get back on track after JFA, which was disappointing for me. It just never had the same pull that the first one did.

Speaking of 1-4 and 2-2, am I the only one who noticed that those 2 cases are strikingly similar?
I only prefer 2-2 by just a bit because I like the defendant more.
