Let's face it: we fans tend to create things. They can be for explanations, possibilities, wild imaginations, ~~fetishes/kinks~~, or simply fun. But sometimes, they show up so often; some people can't tell if they're really official or just a fan-made. So let's set the records straight.

Gourdy is not a tentacle monster. But he's... uh... real...?
Though said jokingly by a member of the AA team, Edgeworth seems to have a dog named Pesu which does not appear in the games. However, it seems Edgey's constitutions hang upon Pesu's own wellbeing.
Gant is not a rapist. But his line, "Have you been swimming lately?" really makes you wonder and think otherwise...

So, here's a bunch of stuff I wanna know:

My cousin thinks this is fan-made; but since it appears in CR's own sprite sheets, I assume it's official. But we don't ever recall seeing this, and I don't remember this showing up in the game guides either. Did I miss this?
Is the existence of Pesu ever implied/mentioned in any of the games?
I'm not surprised if Edgeworth has a secretary, but was it implied/mentioned in any of the games? Is her name Hannah Fright?

Heart Eyes: I believe that is an official sprite that was never used in the game. It was supposed to Phoenix's reaction to seeing April May on the stand if I recall correctly.

Pesu: I've played all the games and I've never seen a reference to him. I've read the interview in question where Pesu is suggested and it seems as if the creator was must making stuff off the top of his head.

Secretary: Hannah Fright is the creation of anon over at the Phoenix Wright Kink Meme. She's not in the games at all and purely a fan creation. She used to be upset by Edgeworth's and Phoenix's less than platonic relationship, hence the last name, but now she embraces it and tries to catch the men in compromising positions.

Another thing that led to that idea was when he called Ema into his office alone.
Plus he looks like one.

Hannah may not be real, but the creators did joke that Edgeworth has a maid who used to look after him in the von Karma household. Other half-canons include the fact that Edgeworth listens to Korean pop and likes scotch, that Phoenix originally wanted to be a Shakespearean actor, and I think that Phoenix and Larry played soccer...? I'd have to check that last one.

Years back it was popular fanon that Franziska's older sister was a doctor, but I haven't seen that one employed lately. I've also seen a lot of speculation that Apollo had a rough upbringing (that he was a punk kid, that he was homeless or grew up in a crappy orphanage) but there's no canon yet concerning his childhood.

Edgeworth liking scotch? That must not have gotten around much recently because I haven't seen that in the fandom. And I wonder why they would say Korean pop music instead of Japanese? All very interesting stuff to me.

'Course, I'm one of those idiots who read CR before finishing any of the games (and was thus spoiled, but that's irrelevant), so I knew pretty much all about Pesu and stuff. And I knew that Hannah was fanon from the start.

I honestly don't know that much about AA fanon, though...

I'm not sure but I think this is a bit off-topic. ~~Aw, what the heck; I do it all the time...~~ In the Japanese version, Franziska comes from America; but in the US one, she hails from Germany. Given her personality, the latter one seems more plausible. But I absolutely mean no offense to Germans (since I like their culture and language, and even have a great friend from there).
