Since I have seen a couple of threads regarding individual foreshadowings in AA, I figured it would be neater to have one thread for all of this instead of 10 different ones. This thread is for foreshadowings intentional and accidental. A few examples include:

4-1: Kristoph says "As it so happens, I dined with him the night of the murder".
2-3: Maya says something like "It would be cool if there was a message from the killer on this board".
2-4: Pearl says "You'd walk over burning coals for Mystic Maya, wouldn't you Mr. Nick?". (3-5, anyone?)

She says that in 3-2, not 3-3.

In 2-4, Gumshoe says something along the lines of "We're getting so much evidence against your client! It's almost as if he was framed!"

The whole AMI urn was forshadowed in 3-2 of course... With events from 2-2.

2-3 : If you look at the Ringmaster's tailcoat before you find the note on the message board, Maya will say you there is a piece of paper in there, however Nick tells her not to touch it.

The same is true in 3-2 if you try to examine the green envelope in Ron's hideout before Luke tells you its important. Maya will tell Nick to open it but Nick will refuse.

And with the box in 3-2. That incredibly obvious little box.

JFA is just full of foreshadowing.

In 2-1, Wellington goes on a rant like, "Fashion! Women! University! Glasses!" and Phoenix thinks You aren't even wearing glasses!

Later, of course, we find out he lost his glasses while killing Dustin.

In 3-1, after you win and Phoenix is declared innocent, he says something about how he thought the "Dollie" on the stand that day was a fake - that she wasn't "his" Dollie. Pretty blatant foreshadowing for when you find out in 3-5 that Phoenix only met Dahlia twice (including that day) and the person he knew as "his Dollie" was actually Iris. *grin*

In 2-2 Mia says a lawyer is someone who smiles no matter how bad it gets. Three guesses as to where she got that one from. Also, at the end of 2-2, we can see Morgan saying how another chance will present itself for Pearl to become the next master. If that isn't forshadowing, I don't know what is.

In 3-1, 'Feenie' comes out with the unforgettable 'My Dollie doesn't poop!'
Then, in 3-5, when he meets Iris, she says 'Oh, are you going to the toilet too, Mr Wright?'

It doesn't really count as foreshadowing, I guess, but I found it funny. :gant-clap:

Spoiler: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
4-4. As it turns out, Kristoph poisioned Vera Misham and Drew Misham. Which brings me to the foreshadowing of this truth.

???: You know it's not nice to pick on the Fraulein, Klavier.
Klavier: !
-camera scrolls to witness stand-
-shows Kristoph Gavin-
-after one second reveals Ema-
Apollo: Ema!
Ema: Well? Like my Kristoph Gavin impression? Did I sound like him?
Apollo: ...Don't quit your day job.

See? They brought Gavin up in that particular case. Why? He was also shown in the intro video. If that isn't foreshadowing, I don't know what is!

Believe me, I wasn't looking at the post.
I was trying as hard as I could to get Klavier's 4-4 line:
Klavier: If that's not bluffing, then what is it?
I tried to get that on, and mixed it up a bit :payne:

2-4 is full of foreshadowing, particularly with the whole two-faced bastard thing. Two outstanding ones:

Phoenix:(About Adrian)
(She may be of small stature,
but appearances can be
deceiving...)

In 1-5, Dick Gumshoe's EM scanner from 2-4 is in the evidence room. Also, he writes a note to Edgeworth on the back of a Tres Bien flier.

Ah, but this was on the DS remake. This isn't technically foreshadowing.

Yogi would have to have been a verrrrrrry young dad, though. He's 52 in AA... fast forward 9 years later (7 years after T&T) to AJ, and Eldoon is 46.

Doing the math...

52 (Yogi's age in AA)
46-9 = 37 (Eldoon's age in AA)

52-37 = 15 year age gap

Yogi would have to have been a young teen dad... which, yes, is possible, but not likely.

It's not foreshadowing, it's to improve the continuity between AA1 and 2.

Original gba version:
Game 1: game ends, Edgeworth opens up slightly, Edgeworth finds out he didn't kill his father, everything is happy.

Game 2, Edgeworth "commits suicide" out of blue.

DS version:
Case 4: Edgeworth opens up slightly, Edgeworth finds out he didn't kill his father, everything is happy.
Case 5: Edgeworth is more friendly through the case, but pressures build up on him as old rumours reignite, he finds out he presented forged evidence in a very important case and due to this is intending to resign. The final blow in the coffin is Gant's talk to Edgeworth at the end of the case, convincing Edgeworth that searching for the truth is a fallacy.

Game 2: Edgeworth "commits suicide", however this time it at least makes sense to a certain degree.

Impossible! Phoenix Wright hadn't heard of Yogi until 1-4. Eldoon states that Phoenix and Maya frequented at his father's stand.

1. Phoenix Wright put Yogi in jail for murder two days after they met. "Frequented" is impossible.
2. Not too much time to frequent considering that Maya and Phoenix were only together for those 3 cases in PWAA...

It's pretty neat but I don't think it counts as foreshadowing.

Dunno know if it would count as foreshadowing, but at the end of 3-1, Phoenix was talking about how he wanted to become a lawyer to save a friend of his (and we know at the time that's it's Edgeworth, but he doesn't say a name and doesn't tell Mia either).

CONFUSING. D:

I did like the placement of the Tres Bien flyer in 1-5 though. It made me laugh when I played it through again (because the first time I played it through, I didn't know anything about what was in 'T&T') and I'm like, 'French restaurant... OMG TRES BIEN. WTF. xD'

When Dahlia testifies about her meeting with Diego, you press the statement where she says she only left her seat for a moment.

Yeah it was Larry he wanted to save. He wanted to meet Edgeworth in court and find out why he became a prosecutor.
