Harvey Birdman for the Wii. My theory; Capcom is testing the waters for a possible Phoenix Wright Wii title. Discuss. |

I disliked Harvey Birdmans Gameplay @ Comic Con.... If the game for Wii retails at $29.99USD then I'll give it a whirl on my Wii. But in my opinion, If Capcom really wanted a Wii PW there could be an off-chance that they might hint at something at TGS. But here is hoping its GS5 for DS. Also,...... -goes to read rest of topic, see if also thoughts haven't been posted yet. - |

This prrrrobably will happen, regardless of whether it's a good idea or not. We're talking about Capcom here, the people who have been ruining franchises with inane sequels since gaming began. Basically if they think it'll make money, they'll do it, with or without the blessing of the original designer/artist/whatever. I don't remember who said it, but GS is far from a niche title, at least in Japan. It's actually one of the best-selling franchises, and considering how cheap it is to make it, that means it'll be around for a while. It's very possible that we'll see a Wii remake of a GS game (or maybe even a new GS game), but that it won't be localized to English. I'm not quite sure of the popularity of AA in the West, although I think it's pretty good too. Personally, I don't think I'd be interested in playing an AA game on the Wii if there's English voice acting in place for all dialogs. That would just ruin the mood for me, especially considering the average quality of Western anime voice acting. Also, to me AA interface is absolutely perfect on the DS. Honestly, I can't think of another DS game with a better interface, save maybe Meteos. While you could make the interface work the same way on the Wii, I think it'd be much more of a pain to play. But high res art like in the TGS 05/06 cases would definitely be cool!

Oh. NOW I understand. Previously I was just thinking that this could NEVER make it to the Wii, but now I can already imagine it. Firstly, as Surasshu said, Capcom gets money, whether it is or isn't a good game, everybody probably buys it. AND, if it IS a good game, Capcom probably gets just more money. And, I'd love 3D-investigation and...the courtroom scenes could have the 3-D presentation like in AA 1-5. PS. What's this High-Res art thing? Neverheardof...-.-; |

Ah, I was refering to these videos: TGS 2006 special court case video. The quality isn't great, but you can clearly see that the art is really sharp, like an anime (or Wii game ). Plus, voice acting! I also love that they kept the original GBA-quality music. This was the first one, with subs. Unfortunately whoever encoded it did such a poor job that it really doesn't look all that high quality at all anymore. |

i think than they could have done it already to the DS games, because with 128 mb of space, and the PW-games only use 32... i want japanese full voice actors in my PW games

the truth is there isn't ENOUGH reasons for there to be a Ace Attorney Game on the wii, And there isn't Enough reasons to NOT to put it on the wii. Sure, the Wii Version could get some cool features, some voice acting, some Amazing Awesome Graphics. But when it comes to the gameplay it would be the same as the DS, and wouldn't be worth the $50 price tag. Now, if they were to make a $30 AA game for the Wii, then that would be a financial Loss for Capcom, HOWEVER a Good idea could be a Ace Attorney Game on the (Upcoming) WiiWare Channel! It would be inexpensive to make, and also inexpensive to Buy! it could have the better graphics and voice acting of the Wii(Along with the features) But the same case numbers as the DS Versions(to make it fit). XD I just wish that the Wiimote Had a microphone, Because I would Love Striking the Objection Pose to Object, but without shouting it, it wouldn't be the same, Now Shouting it AND Pointing it! THAT WOULD SOMETHING FUN! |

Yeah, about the fact that wii's are soooooooo hard to get. I have one. I found out that I was getting one when I was at target. I was supposed to get one for my elemenatry school graduation, and it was June, only one month past my graduation. When I found about it I started calling stores once a day and I got one within a week. All it take is a little patince, and a lot of of obession. |

If they put an Ace Attorney game on the Wii, I want to see the investigation improved. Instead of moving a cursor around a static image, why not actually walk into a room that you can actually look around in? |

Sorry if I'm being a grammer nazi, but I really can't stand you using isn't there instead of aren't. I'm very sound oriented and whisper while I read so it's really bugging me. (Maybe that's why I'm so good at catching translation problems in PW. Like how they always say "anyways". No, there's not supposed to be an s there) Quote: XD I just wish that the Wiimote Had a microphone, Because I would Love Striking the Objection Pose to Object, but without shouting it, it wouldn't be the same, Now Shouting it AND Pointing it! They need a mic for the Wii as well, which is obvious. I mean, honestly, if you take out the shouting of "OBJECTION!!!", you have killed the point behind Phoenix Wright. Or at least, one of the edges. |

What would prolly be there (Or what I want): Point to object. Cutscenes. Bonus features [Mini-sodes] Say what you want to say (rather than regular choices) Multiplayer (2 players) 1 is DA 2 is PA [This one has DS-like limited options.] Yada yada. And a how to draw in authors style wut. |
