In reality, 3 would probably me huddling on the floor behind the witness stand sobbing like a lunatic.

1) Smug "I dare you to bring it on" grin in an attempt to bluff the defense
2) Expression of disblief, ala Zenitora complete with bullet-sweat and a wavering grin
3) I ball my fists, cross my arms, sweat like crazy and grin like nothing is wrong while chuckling to myself, but deep down I realize I'm horribly, horribly screwed
Before breakdown: Scream out loud while my body lights up with sparks and I go into a "Super Saiyan power-up" stance
4) My nerves are shot as I completely lose my composure and go down Aiga-style while damning the court, legal system, and defense team. Then I just laugh maniacally until the bailiff detains me and hauls me away.

2. Start to act a bit woozy. Apply some chapstick and grin tentatively.
3. Utter a soft gasp and collapse in a mock faint. Immediately afterward, rise up and start to scream while raining white fire on the courtroom. I incinerate the prosecution (preferably Edgeworth) and nearly incinerate Phoenix. Afterward, I apply chapstick and smile at Phoenix in a dejected manner.

Although I have the perfect breakdown animation in mind for Turnabout Trauma. Should consist of about 55-65 individual frames, +10-20 if counting the more standard nervious sprites.

Normal Stage:
I'd be all smug and calm, keeping all of my secrets to myself. I'd pull off all sorts of "I dunno what shit you're talking about" while still remaining confident and play along with the defense and prosecution.
Stage One:
I'd probably just be sweating a little, yet still keep a smug enough face and taunt the defense to show me some more proof or something like that. If the prosecution backs me up, I'd go back to my normal stage. If the prosecution doesn't, I'll move on the next stage of my would-be breakdown.
Stage Two:
Sweating profusely, I'd start looking over the back of my shoulder or to the sides, possibly slamming something on the witness stand while I'm at it. I could curse or throw random objects around the courtroo, too. If the defense adds insult to injury, I'll move on to the final stage.
Stage Three:
Yeah, I'd most likely explode during this one. If possible, I'd change my physical appearance to look like that of a demon wolf's and howl like a lunatic... Werewolf breakdown... Awesome. :P

1. Normal-Nice, offering people muffins, although suspiciosly always blaming the defendant for murder.
2. Nervous-Sweating, and eating a crap load of muffins.
3.Angry-Trying to distract Phoenix. Like "TAKE A DAMN MUFFIN!! THEIR DELICIOUS!!"

Stage 1 of being cornered: Furrow my eyes brows, sweat a little. Still play along with the defense, less flirting with the prosecution, and more trying to bail myself out of it subtly.
Stage 2 of being cornered: I'd start to wring my hands, while my heart beat noticeably increases. Start sweating a little more, now ignoring the prosecution, and hating on the defense. Probably squeezing whatever I happen to be playing with in my hands. (I do this a lot when I get anxious)
Stage 3 of being cornered: Probably shaking while the fast paced cornered music plays off in the back ground. I'd stop sweating, feeling almost defeated, while I'm probably getting light headed. Giving death glares at whoever ticks me off at that time, while trying to find flaws in the defense's logic. By this time, I'm probably squeezing the life out of whatever unlucky things I'm playing with in my hands.
Stage 4 of being cornered: Ok, the jig is up. I'd probably stop fighting, revert to a sad stage, Like

If I'm just your simple witness, I'd simply start sweating, playing with my hair, or tug on it a little.
If I was the real culprit, I would begin screaming, break down, cry, and admit everything.
And if I were a really evil person, I'd probably stand there quietly, do a 180 degree personality change, and go "You had me figured out all along, didn't you?", before laughing like a maniac.

Phoenix stood triumphantly, holding the evidence with one hand and pointing dramatically with the other. "This proves, beyond a doubt, that you killed him!"
All at once, a change came over Trilroy. Spitting the Ovaltine from his mouth, he clenched the cup tightly with both hands, twitching with a deranged half-smile on his face. Then, amidst sounds of thunder and bright flashes of lightning, he began to smash the cup back and forth against the witness stand powerfully with one hand, ruffling his other hand violently against his face and hair as scenes from the case flashed by in the background. When the ordeal was over, he knelt on the ground, one hand slumped by his side, the other thrown across the stand with the cup still clutched in it. His head lay sideways on the top of the stand, his face looking like it would have been asleep if not for the convulsing. After ten or twelve seconds of silence, he pushed himself back up with the arm by his side, Ovaltine dripping from his hair, and calmly, silently drained the last drop of the drink into his mouth before throwing the cup to the floor.

I'd sweat, just a little, but then going back to being very calm and composed.
After that, my eye would twitch, and then I'd scratch my head. I do that when I'm nervous.
My eye would stop twitching, and then I'd just look calmly again, with a bit of a forced :) and I'd take a sip of tea.
After that, things would start to go normally, and I'd repeat the all my panics..
Until I start bleeding. And coughing up blood.
At that point, little smokes would appear above me, and I'd die.
My ghost would then be seen floating above my body, and I'd scream GUILTY all around the courtroom, like really loudly.
And I'd whisper in mister Defense Attorney's ear, "This isn't the last of me. Btw, check the tea. :D"
Even when the body dies, the spirit, the ego, it lives on... forever.
