Hold it!

You say you got the FIRST game, Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney?

So after that, you are waiting for Trials & Tribulations?

Before you get T&T, YOU NEED Phoenix Wright ACE ATTORNEY JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Take my advice and beat the game first. Then wait a while before buying Justice For All. I find it easier to transition from one thing to another when you don't jump right into said "other thing".

Okami never stated they didn't already possess Justice For All.

It is entirely possible to own the second game in a series before owning the first!

Pffah. n00bs. Is PW:AA really that hard to find brand new? I've seen it loads of places. And yes, you should buy JFA before playing TAT. It'd be stupid otherwise, coz you're missing a chunk of the story.

Actually, I've been seeing it in more places than I saw it at launch now. And people better start buying it, they really should slap the label "Best damn game for the DS" on there. I already did it to a few of them.

I played JFA first. Because the guy at the store was a dumbass...
I said, "Can I have Phoenix Wright for DS, please?
He's like "The first or the second?"
I said "The first."
And I got JFA. >.<
Spoiler: 2-4
Which sucks because I missed out on the whole Edgeworth storyline so I wasn't as happy as I should have been when he returned...

Not everyone lives near you, y'know. I regularly visit a few different game stores near where I live, and aside from when it first came out, I have never seen any new copies of PW:AA at any of them. To give you an idea, that's, what, a year and a half, and I visit about 4 or 5 game stores on a regular basis. When 5 stores over a period of a year and a half don't ever have a new copy of a game, then I believe it is appropriate to deem it 'hard to find'.

Edit: Took out a line I wrote when frustrated. Moving on...

Gotta agree with Hypotenuse Man. I don't know what is the matter, but I've never found a single PW game on a shelf at any game store. I had to preorder mine PW1, and happily I got the last copy from the store, now they won't sell the game anymore. Same goes for Jfa, had to preorder.

Maybe the game is just too popular here? Yuusaku

Me too! I had to call the local gamestop so many times that when they finally said that they had one AA in stock, I ran all the 25 minutes to the mall in case some villanous villain got there first and stole it. Dr? Hotti JFA, on the other hand, seems to be more reasily availiable.

There were a few new copies of the first one that lingered around for a good four months where I work until they got bought up.

Had to resist the temptation to buy them all up and give them to my friends as presents.

Exactly, I played JFA first! I think it was better that way, kind of like Star Wars...

I had to get mine on half.com or something. I bought JFA on a whim, loved it but could find the original any where. So congrats on the find!

For me, finding the first Phoenix Wright game was VERY HARD to obtain. However, at the time when I heard about JUSTICE FOR ALL being released around in January, I decided to make a PRE-ORDER at my local GAME CRAZY store...in surprise, I saw ONLY ONE LAST COPY OF PHOENIX WRIGHT: ACE ATTORNEY AT THE FRONT!!

I dashed to the cash register and bought the last copy, placed a PRE-ORDER of Justice For All and went home happily. (I did finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and despite the pre-order of JUSTICE FOR ALL at GAME CRAZY, I did not get the FINGER STYLUS. It was only GAMESTOP and EBgames exclusive...a shameful pity. Payne )

And I don't have a NINTENDO DS unfortunately.

Where I live I was very lucky to find a copy of Justice For All. I have been looking forever for AA but I doubt I'll have any luck with the stores. Acro

I had to buy PW: AA off of Amazon because the game is pretty darn hard to find here.

I got PW: JFA at the store, luckily.

As many other people have said, you'll need to buy JFA before you go out and buy the new one. Necessarily, you don't need to buy it at all, however, I think you'd get more out of the next game if you did. Also, great luck on finding this game. I just borrowed it from a friend and beat all 5 cases in about a week. Try to get through the game without strategy guides, alright?

I haven't seen a copy of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney at my local gamestop for weeks. Didn't they stop manufacturing copies a while ago?

Lucky to find a copy? I guess I was lucky when I found the game for $30 at Best Buy. Are they going to do this for all the games?

Wait, what? You bought the two Phoenix Wright games without being able to play them? I'm not following you here.

Aww... that's so sad... CR needs a "Help Me Get My Own Copy Foundation" or something lol... It's sad being only able to play just a part of the games and never getting to the end :larry:

Unfortunately for me, the local stores don't sell the DS versions of the games. Then again, I live in China- the DS version has no Chinese translation available while the GBA version does. Thus, I see quite a few copies of the GBA version in Chinese going around, but usually it looks like TaT and PW:AA sell better than JFA here. Of course, this means that I have the GBA cartridges for the games, though sometimes the legality of said cartridges is called into question...

Well...around the month of January, I asked my friend if I could borrow his NINTENDO DS. I finshed the FIRST Phoenix Wright in a week. However, I wanted to continue on JUSTICE FOR ALL but I have to give it back...it is 5 months passed, and I still don't have a NINTENDO DS. :sadshoe:

For now, collecting the series is most important for me before they get RARE.
