  • Inclusion of separate rosters for children, adults and the elderly

I am open to feedback from everyone who uses this. Send your suggestions, bugs, errors, hentai, misbehavior, cash, comments, cookies, flames, blank checks, porn, money orders and the finest wines and cheeses via email at shiki[at]nanatsuyoru[dot]co[dot]cc, or posting in this thread. Thank you.

Oo, this looks pretty interesting.

Looks like some more weird and odd pairings will come this way.
Haven't bumped into any bugs yet, so far so good!

Hmm. The only glaring thing to me is that I if I hit my browsers "back" arrow, I had to go through all my matches. So having it load to one page instead of a new page for each pairing.

For Shiki: When I generate a match it creates a new page. Uh I can't word this right...

look here for what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMphbkb12qE

I'm not exactly 100% sure, but I THINK I'm interpreting you right, and if I am, yes, it was intended that way. If you notice, every time you click on a section, the URL changes. Why? Because doing the refresh via Ajax (i.e. Javascript + PHP) consumes more overall resources than just doing a complete data refresh (server-side and client-side) -- the server gets hammered not more, but harder, when requests are made via Ajax.

In order to NOT to see past results, I've added some headers to prevent caching (which is what happens when a page gets "stored" in your Back button). Depending on your browser configuration, it might or might not work -- I'm sorry I can't offer a better solution at the moment, but I can't exactly abuse my hosting server considering it's free space generously conceded by a friend of mine.

I was thinking... maybe put in 3 age catagories? Children, adults and the elderly... dunno if there are enough in each catagory to warrent it, but it's just an idea that popped into my head... :igarashi: :wendy:

Sound idea. I'll add it up there. First I need to finish working on the new site layout -- the categories are starting to pile up.

I has a request. You don't have to do it, but it could result in some serious lulz.

Add the Blue Badger/Proto Badger.

:badger:

Apollo x Proto Badger? I think it would be hilarious. Just me... being up at an ungodly hour of the night... talking to my friend... being random. xD

Keep in mind this basically means all the other fake chars have to be added as well. Apollo/Iron Infant? Doesn't... make logical sense.

Unless they're already in there?

No, I don't think they're there. That would be funny to see something like Blue Badger/Steel Samurai. There really should be no boundaries when it comes to stuff like pairing generators XD

I was on the kink meme when I made that request. xD

Simply because it gave me Manfred von Karma and Apollo Justice three times. And my friend was talking about how she found the Proto Badger adorable.

Imagine Miles Edgeworth x Steel Samurai. :wacky-edgy:

Do ANY of the pairings that that thing generates make logical sense? Like Shoe and Terry Fawles?

That's what makes this generator so awesome. Logic falls off a cliff to the spikes below. xD

Well, Shoe and Terry Fawles are both 'real' in the same universe. It could conceivably occur, disturbing though it is. But the Badgers and Samurais are*gasp* imaginary in the GS World, hence why I said it's illogical.
But we're wasting space.

There's nothing logical about the majority of AA pairings anyway so it doesn't matter.

This. While none of the resulting pairings are supposed to necessarily make sense, the idea is to limit them to the "real" universe of the AA series. Including fictional characters like the Steel Samurai and the Badgers isn't on my agenda due to that constraint, sorry.

It's called "you're using trash security software, and probably a trash browser too". McAfee = full of holes and false positives. Internet Explorer = biggest piece of software shit in the planet. My domain's completely safe — just because I don't feel like coding it the way McAfee THINKS should be safe for the random idiot out there doesn't mean there's any security risks in browsing any part of it.

I use Norton, and it said that the site has no threats. That's also free, and it works much better than McAfee.

Eh, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, I guess. Still, quoting my best friend, "McAfee sucks monkey fuck". Try getting a better security solution. In my own personal case, Comodo Personal Firewall + Avira Antivir + Google Toolbar with antiphishing enabled = titanium solid security, and all three are free. I particularly despise Symantec's products as well — my past track record with them isn't exactly the brightest, and has left me with LOTS to say about the quality of their products.
