You've played the Japanese and American versions of GS1-3.
Which ones do you like in Japanese?

You could have just contacted me XD;;

But it's an interesting question, so let's open it up. I'm not the only person here who's played both versions of the games that are out. So what does everyone else think, too?

In my case, I only played a tiny bit of the first game in English before playing all of them in Japanese. And then with all the spriting I did, I was playing the Japanese versions on emulator. I've played the games a ton more in Japanese than in English so that's the version I generally prefer, as it's what I'm used to.

But if I'm not at a computer and I feel like picking up my DS for some PW, I'll play in English 'cause it requires a little less thought. :sawit:

I played through the first two in English, the third and fourth in Japanese. I found it just as interesting and fun to play in Japanese but I think my heart lies where I started--the English version. There's not a huge difference to me, though. It should be really interesting when I have a chance to compare the third game...

(Actually, normally I hate visual novels, so I was suprised to find how much I liked the GS games in general. But that's what made me leery of playing in Japanese until I just said "screw it, I want to know what happens". I'm glad I did.)

I prefer playing in English, mainly because I am really bad at Japanese (I understand some of the basic terms used in court, but little else). However, I have played a fan-translation of GS4 (it's done up to case 2) because I just couldn't wait.
