Anyway is there an ace attorney character that you liked so much and you didn't want them to be guilty but in the end they were?
If so then discuss.
Mine was Damon Gant. He just struck me as such a nice guy when I first met him that I didnt want him to be guilty (even though I sort of knew he would be in the end)

That sounds weird, but think about it. If he was Not Guilty, things would have been much easier for Phoenix. I didn't want him to be guilty, but after I found out that he was, I did want him to be declared guilty.

Gant was the kind of guy I'd just want to hang out with for a day because he was so nice and stuff, but then you find out he did it... ;_;
As for Dee, I don't really know. I just kind of wished she could find closure for the five years ago case without being guilty.

Definitely Acro, too. Yes, he deserves to be punished for what he did, but it was hard to accept he was the culprit... he'd been through so much already, being crippled and having a comatose brother, and then he had to deal with knowing he had inadvertently killed the guy he thought of as a father, and trying to pin the guilt on an innocent person. The cold and unapologetic pricks, such as Matt, Manfred, and Dahlia, you never really cry for. Acro is one of the "bad guys" (without being an actual bad guy) you really feel a great deal of sympathy for.
And though neither committed murder, I kind of wished Jake and Adrian hadn't been guilty of evidence tampering. Then again, they both had their reasons (and in Adrian's case, a necessary step in her character transformation).

Personal Favorites aside, 3 people that come to mind, though I don't regret convicting them, I did feel a little bad for.
Acro-It was sad what happened to Bat, and I understand how he felt about Regina
Yanni Yogi- Hammond basically ruined his life for selfish reasons. Plus, he didn't kill Gregory.
Godot- Though I feel he deserved to be convicted because he could of prevented Elise's death if he really wanted to and blaming Phoenix for everything, it WAS sad what happened to him.
