Actually, I've wondered what sort of quirks could be used for a fanmade character. Random thoughts for a prosecutor:
Eating an apple.
Leaning back in a chair all the time (say, falling over backwards when the defense corners him)
Always taking notes (when cornered, his pencil breaks. Before making a bold statement, flips through what has apparently been a flipbook)

I also love Gumshoe's "pal" (It's HIS endearing character trait!)
Tigre's accent and Kudo's bird seed throwing is pretty funny too...

I also like Grey's constant anger and how he's always putting people and things down, like how unimpressed he is by Phoenix's proffession and the Fey manor.
