Which makes no friggin' sense! And I mean it! In the Fansprites, they're all White. Even in the Actual Sprites, they're all White. White, white, white. White everywhere! Gah! This is soooo confusing!

It's the same reason why black hair is so often portrayed by having purple, blue or even green highlights in color illustrations, same as why white hair might be depicted as having blue tinted shadows or being a platinum blond color.
Avoid White and Black themselves as much as possible.

In Rise from the ashes, she had Blue Eyes, but in AJ? Well, she had teal eyes. This contradicts reality. I mean. Did you ever heard of any people whom's eyes can change colors?! I don't think so, and besides, I doubt that person exists too. The Eye color should've been the same.

I was told about this by someone studying art, but that's a year or two ago already, so I'm not sure. I think it has to do with having black and white, such solidary colors that are either called "too much" or "lack of" color, in an illustration would cause it to look... unfinished, I think. Or just stand out too much. Similar reason why gray is generally not used, shadows are generally given some kind of touch of color into it like blue, green, purple and such, even if it's just a little dash of it.

B) I sometimes seem to have more gray in my eyes than green at times. Can't tell you why, just sometimes my eye color doesn't seem to be as tight as it should be.
C) I dunno, maybe Ema turning into a bitter woman who refuses to re-take a test to get a job she wants and instead chooses to just bitch about it caused her eye color to change

Technically, Nick is special. It doesn't matter as much whether his eyes are brown or blue in terms of artistic perspectives. What does change, however, are the implications behind his ethnicity. It's not impossible for an East Asian person to have blue or green eyes, but aside from mixed blood, the chances are incredibly slim - almost as if they'd seem like mutations when they actually aren't.
Or... we could all just be over-thinking things and instead say that Nick just likes colored contact lenses. And Edgeworth thinks white/gray hair makes him look cooler (or maybe it's due to stress). And Mia and Pearl exchanged magatama for whatever reason.

Same reason people ship RefillxKratos from Symphonia, PhoenixxPearl from this series or even LukexTear from Tales of the Abyss. It doesn't make sense because there's no decent basis for anything to happen. Don't question it, it's probably something you won't understand.
