To be honest, most of the cross-examinations Ive gotten stuck on have been due to me thinkin I presented something when I really didnt (Dee Vasquez's steak plate testimony), or not pressing on all the statements (Lottas first testimony in 1-4 had me up all night, presenting every evidence on every testimony multiple times before I realized)

But the one that I was truly stumped on, embarassingly, was the first cross-examination in the first case of JFA. It took me over an hour to work it out. I expected the rest of them to be super hard after that, but that was the hardest one of the game IMO.

Since I have no common sense I was mostly stuck on 2-2, 2-3, and some others, well all of them except 1-1 and 2-1

Hm, where do I start?

The First Turnabout
At the very end of the trial when you had to present something to explain why Sahwit thought the clock was three hours slow, I had to present every piece of evidence because the time zone differences never occured to me.

Turnabout Sisters
Gumshoe's testimony about Mia writing the name of the killer with her right hand had me stumped until I presented the autopsy report; Mia died instantly so she couldn't have written anything. Man, I felt so relieved when I figured that out...until Edgeworth pounced and presented "Autopsy Report #2".

Turnabout Samurai
Christ, I had a ton of stumbling blocks on this case! The first one was when Oldbag testified that no one else passed by the guard station, until I realized that the "#2" on the back of the photo meant someone else had to have passed by her. During that same procedure I was lost on who else could have possibly killed Hammer and accidentally accused Penny and Cody. Good thing I had still had five exclamation marks left.

The next major road block was Cody's testimony. It never occured to me that I should have presented the camera on the last part of his first testimony. That one had me stumped for five to six hours at the very least.

I was also stuck on both of Dee's testimonies. My mind was a total blank on her first testimony so I had to look up GFAQs guides to find which part of her testimony to contradict. I never thought to present the steak plate but I was very new to the genre at the time so I never had the right mind set to pick the right testimony to break. Then I was stuck for about a half-hour during her second testimony trying to pick apart her excuse for not bringing the script with her to the studio for the rehearsal. I kind of subconsciously had the "motive" figured out in my head (since she had no motive, the "motive" was the other way around) so no big deal there.

Turnabout Goodbyes
The first part I got stuck on was Lotta's final testimony when she said that when she heard a loud noise she didn't go looking for Gourdy. It never crossed my mind that since she was a photographer that she would want to go searching for Gourdy immediately after hearing a loud noise.

The next stumper came when Larry testified that he only heard one gunshot but that there were two. I was stuck on this for a good while as I didn't know which piece of evidence to present on the part where he stated that he only heard a single gunshot with his headphones on at full blast.

Polly's testimony was the real killer here. I had everything down except I didn't notice the resemblance between the "1228" safe combination and the "12/28" case date. Again I had to resort to GFAQs because I overlooked that. I tried presenting evidence during Polly's actual testimony - the part before telling Maya to ask Polly a question - so I lost about three exclamation marks there.

I'll post more tomorrow. I'm too tired right now to think much harder.

So far I had only one big problem, with Angel Starr's testimony. She said the murderer was all planned, and I didn't notice that it was a contradiction until I presented Edgeworth's knife by a wild guess. I thought it wouldn't be contradictory since the murderer planned to use Edgeworth's knife to frame him for that murder.

Ooooh.....
Let's see.

Farewell my Turnabout: Shelly De Killer's testimonies. The one where you have to get him to talk was very annoying!

In 2-1 at that "left-handed-glove" testimony.

Damn, I don't live in the US, I don't know almost anything about baseball.

2-1 sucked hard.

I had trouble with the same testimony, Szabu. It wasn't because I didn't know what was expected (I thought it was pretty clear I was supposed to prove that the glove wasn't made for Dustin on account that it was for the wrong hand, given how much they emphasized it was a ___-handed glove), but because I didn't think the evidence made sense. If the glove was for the x hand, and Dustin was x-handed... then what was the problem?!

...Obviously, I don't play baseball.

There were other troublesome testimonies (LOTs of them), but I don't remember specifically which ones at the moment.
