Ehm... not to break your shell, but this thread is ment for characters that you IN NO POSSIBLE ACHIVABLE WAY CANNOT LOVE.

Godot, Franziska (may she burn in hell... twice), Ini Miney, Engarde, Maya, Will Powers, Lana.... are very much so possible to not love.

Here's my take on it:

Phoenix: He's made as a basic blank sheet. He has very little character (except in AA3-1 *cough*), and it makes him a character you can play as without getting repulsed by some of it. He is a very blank sheet, that is as close as possible, supposed to mimik the players thoughts. This, though, makes him a very stupid character, in reality. He usually cannot reply with anything but repeating what the other guy said with a '...?' after wards, or just common "oh." words like "that makes sence," or, "ah, okay.". Or make stupid puns about people in his thoughts. This results in him being a character you'll have a hard tim hating. Like Gordon Freeman, or the Doom Marine.

Judge: Considering the ammount of cases this boy is in, he has to be a lovable (ish) character. That's why he's so silly. It works, too.

Edgeworth: Your main opponent. He's supposed to e a good guy, so you can't really hate him. Although you are supposed to hate him at the start of AA1, and his actions in AA2, it doesn't discract that he's a good guy.

Gumshoe: For the same reason as the judge. You are going to face him in almost every case... except two. He's better be lovable! He is, of course.

Pearl: Awwww.... yeah, that's supposed to be cute. Yes, you can't possibly hate Pearl. And if anything goes bad, blame it on the bad blood.

Etc, etc.

We're all gonna have our different opinions on this, so I'm not gonna start a fight or anything by calling you a whitetrash ass or something stupid like that like people do on youtube. But I am gonna say this.

Franziska: Awesomely bitchy, plain and simple. I don't really know why I like her so much. Maybe she just has charisma. Plus, she's German! German people are cool! :lol:
Maya: She's a lot like me, in that obnoxious/childish way, so I take this slightly as an insult. Besides, Maya can be really funny at times. And seriously, who doesn't like funny!? (take it from the totally weird comedian, lol).
Matt Engarde: Yeah, he really is a very... hateable character.

I wanna squash his brains out and throw it in the fire and then throw the ashes in the toilet. That was not meant to be funny. I'm serious.
Will Powers: He can be a bit annoying at times. Way too sensitive. I bet he's a human waterfall when he watches Titanic.
Lana: I don't know about her. She doesn't show much emotion, and she does act very cold and evil at times. But still,

she did go through a lot to protect her sister, and if someone did that for me (especially my sister, she puts me through hell, lol) it would be hard for me to not like them.

Ini Miney: She is so annoying. Even I say the words "totally" and "like" a bit too often than I should, but still, she uses them more than preps do. And that's saying something.

Plus, she's very EVIL!!! lol But still, it really is hard to like her, even in the littlest bit, considering what she did.

Godot: Can't write anything about him, I live in America and haven't played the game yet, plus I'm very against spoilers, probably because my sister's a spoiler junkie. Either way, I can't give my opinion about him because I know absolutely nothing about him.

K, that's my opinion on that. Buh bye!

P. S. Also, :payne: because he's just so stupid and slow that it's hard to not like him. Although he is very weird. In the bad way. K that's it, buh bye.

Ema-that same kind of awesomeness that Gumshoe has. Just smarter.

Well, the fairly obvious ones...

Phoenix is one of the best protagonists I've ever seen - I've never seen a character whose head was quite as fun to get into as his. Edgeworth... well, he's Edgeworth. His character is so well balanced between his strengths and his weaknesses, his times of total badassery and his moments where you just want to hug him until all the trauma goes away... He's really fantastically drawn and I love him. Maya is adorable and wonderful, and such a helpful and determined aide despite her age and lack of legal background, and so charmingly weird. (And her sibling relationship with Nick = <3333) Pearls is just precious and such a little trooper. Larry... is Larry, he's endearingly ridiculous. Ema is absolutely adorable (once her personality kicks in), and she lets me do luminol and fingerprints.

However, I also love...

I... I don't know why. I hated her on my first playthrough for her UNREPENTANT PERJURY and her damn stupid errand she sent me on, dangling the information that could SAVE EDGEWORTH just out of my reach until I jumped through her hoop.

But... I don't know. I've just become bizarrely fond of her somehow. Maybe it's BECAUSE she's so unapologetically self-serving. Some characters do that to me, they're just SUCH assholes that I have to love them.

I also have a bit of a soft spot for :meekins: , and from what I've seen and heard, :odoroki: is DAAARLING.

I actually liked Ini and Lotta. Ini was funny in her own ditzy way, Lotta was just funny in general, and was fun to be around.

As for Pearl...I could see her being hateable. She was damn annoying in PW3 at times.
